Perched on a hill above the river in charming Guerneville, you'll enjoy river views from every room in the house and a deck that wraps around 3 sides of this newly built home. With giant redwoods all around, it feels like you're in a tree house. The setting is very private, which makes for a perfect romantic retreat or a relaxing family getaway.
The closest beach, Du Brava, is a 10 minute walk down the street. Johnson's Beach, Guerneville's most popular beach, is only a 5 minute drive. Other outdoor activities including canoeing/kayaking, cycling, wine tasting, farm tours, golf, or zip line tours are all close by.
Only a 20 minute drive brings you to the coast, the town of Jenner and Goat Rock Beach, a beautiful and dramatic state beach where the river meets the sea.

This place is fabulous! We are a family of four (married couple with two children ages 5 and 3) and it was absolutely perfect for us. It would also be a great place for two couples as it's ideal for entertaining a small group. Wonderful deck with great views and wall-to-wall windows to soak it all in. Despite the large windows and tons of natural light, it's very private. I loved the rustic decor tied in with all of the modern amenities - it's so tastefully done... and clean! I read the review below and know what they mean about the table, but we were able to easily shift the support wedge and had no problems with the table at all. In fact, we loved the table as it's big and just begs you to sit there! Also - no issues at all with the chairs for us. Bottom line - we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Guerneville. Thank you, Rae, Bill, and Wiley - we will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This is a beautiful home with outstanding views of the Russian River. The hot tub was great, and got a lot of use out of that. I did experience a few problems... 1. upon arriving the house code that I was provided didn't work, so I had to call the management company to get the correct one. Seems they had changed it, but I should have been notified in advance. 2. Later that evening, my brother took a shower and the pipe for the shower started gushing water, and pretty much flooded the bathroom floor. I had to call the management company a 2nd time. They got in touch with the handyman around 7:00pm, but he wasn't able to arrive to fix it until 8:00pm. But, he fixed it, and we were able to take showers. 3. the WiFi was very spotty. it seemed like the WiFi worked better in the morning than the evening. 4. I would suggest the owners installed basic cable or satellite. 5. The house was very cold for the first 36 hours. Seems like it took a while for the whole house to finally heat up to a comfortable temp. 6. The dining table is very flimsy on one side. Also, the 2 chairs at the end of the table were very wobbly. We avoided sitting in those in fear that we would break them. All in all we enjoyed the house, but there could definitely be some improvements & more attention to detail.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.
