Why the Owner Chose Waterview Towers
IT WAS PURE LOVE at first sight many years ago. We have been going to Destin since we married 40 years ago and watched it develop from a sleepy little village to an upscale resort town. A good friend's father had owned our condo since it was built in the early '80's and we would spend time there every year with our children when they were young and just loved it. We used to say if he ever put it on the market we wouldn't look any further and that is what happened. We were in the middle of a major renovation on our home in New Orleans and anxious to finish for our oldest son's wedding. We found out the condo was going on the market and bought it a few days later. It was truly an emotional decision and I doubt we would have bought anything else if it hadn't gone through. We would go there on weekends, leaving painters in our home in New Orleans and spend our time painting and making it our own. While painting, we would just stare at the gorgeous sunsets each night and wonder if we would ever tire of them, which we have yet to and still thrills us every night.
The panoramic view of that gorgeous water from every room just had us mesmerized. Eight years later we are still smitten and so in love with our home there. We go for long weekends as often as we can and pack all of our children and grandchildren into there for the 4th of July weekend of front row seat fire works. As we have slowly refurnished, renovated and made it our own little haven, we still just marvel at the fact that it is ours. We love to share it with others who appreciate the serenity, peacefulness and beauty of the gorgeous aqua water, sunsets, sugar white sandy private beach, birds flying overhead and boats going by. You can even spot dolphins jumping from time to time. The balcony is like a huge play pen for the younger children who are thoroughly entertained. It is a magical sacred place to be is all that I can say.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
It is all about the view, the water, serenity and sunsets. We are in the East Pass area which is the best of both worlds. Our home is very comfortable and as you can see by the 40 glowing "reviews" on our website of people who have spent time there, it is a little piece of paradise. It is our home away from home and we leave it like that with all the comforts and amenities you could want. We both love to cook and live to eat, being from New Orleans so our gourmet kitchen has every gadget, appliance, and tool you might desire. It is a well stocked kitchen just beautifully renovated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
Our oversized balcony stretches the length of the condo including both bedrooms and dining area which seats 6 comfortably with a Weber bbq grill. You will be mesmerized and entertained by watching the boats go by, the birds flying overhead, dolphins jumping and the sunsets which are like a different painting every night.
Come enjoy our little piece of paradise. We are in a quiet remote area with a private beach only used by those in our building but just 2 miles from all that you will need or want - grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants and shopping. We love to share it with those who value and appreciate the peace and serenity away from the action but have everything just a short distance away.
Winn Dixie Grocery Store is just a couple of miles from the condo
This is an excellent seafood and meat market and has great freshly baked bread and gourmet items.
This is where many people park their boats and swim and socialize in the shallow water.

We were born and raised in New Orleans and have lived many other places in earlier years - Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco but have always return home. After Katrina, I can't imagine living anywhere else except maybe more time in Destin which also has our heart and soul. My husband practices cardiology at a large clinic in New Orleans and I am a retired full time mother, volunteer devoted to helping bring back our beloved city of New Orleans. We are now the proud grandparents of two adorable girls, Scarlett and Eden Paige who live in the DC area with our oldest son and his wife. We spend much of our time visiting them in DC and our other son and his wife who live in Denver. We are fortunate to have our daughter living in New Orleans since graduating a couple of years ago. The empty nest is great though and gives us much freedom to spend time in our little piece of paradise in Destin and travel.

What a lovely condo!! The view was spectacular and the condo was decorated beautifully. The owners have made this condo a "home" to share with their guest. Fabulous pictures of their travels and family. Destin is our usual "destin"ation for summer vacation and we will be returning to this condo next year, if not before. Waterview Towers is well kept and it was a pleasure getting to know the other tennants and guest. We also had our boat in the marina across the street and it was very safe and secure. Thanks for a fantastic vacation property!! :)

Wonderful place to stay in Destin. The location is near the marina, so it is off the main highway and is in a quiet secluded area. As mentioned by other reviewers, the large balcony is a huge plus. It is the biggest we have seen in the Destin area. The interior is very nicely furnished and well maintained. The owners should be commended for keeping the property in excellent condition. We would highly recommend this property to others.

Awesome does not even begin to describe the incredible luxury and serenity of this condo. The owners preparation for visitors was magnificent. The views, the quietness, the friendly people, the seclusion but yet convenience to what you need are outstanding. One will not find a better place to stay in Destin. Highly recommended!!

Scarlett the 5 1/2 yr old was sitting on the balcony at the end of a day and just looked out into the Gulf and said "Mimi, this is the most wonderful place in the world to live." I asked her what she loved so much about it and she said, "The ocean is right here and we get to swim in it, the pool and hot tub are right here, too, the boats going by and the birds flying above and look at that sunset - it just is so beautiful." We have been coming to Destin/Pensacola area for the past 13 years and this is the best condo we've ever found. Love how both bedrooms have a balcony door and the balcony is very large and runs the length of the condo. Really enjoyed watching the boats go out every day, fireworks on thursday night and flyovers from the military base. The kitchen was very well equipped and we cooked more than we usually do. The workout room is directly across the hall and very convenient. Beds were very comfortable and slept great. Loved the convenience of being not far from grocery store, Target & Walmart and not being on the main "drag" where all the traffic is. We were here during the 'oil crisis', saw some booms, skimmers but never really saw much oil. A few tar balls but nothing significant. Where you can go into the ocean would be great for someone with small children because it is very shallow and the not much 'current' to pull you out like other places. I felt very comfortable with my son in the water there.Being on the 2nd floor balcony was great and since I have a teenager I was able to watch him from the balcony if he wanted to go crab hunting or to the pool by himself. Washer/Dryer is convenient and across the hall with super capacity for extremely large loads. The owners were very hospitable. Hoping to come back next summer.

Please come and support the merchants of Destin and the Gulf Coast. The water and beaches are as beautiful as ever. There is no oil on Holiday Isle and the rest of Destin.

This was our first time in the Destin area and we hit the jackpot with this condo. It had all the essentials and it's framed with some great photography. One of my favorite times of the day was drinking my coffee in the early morning, on the veranda, and watching the boats go out for the day, and of course watching the beautiful sunsets was another favorite. There were plenty of activities and sites to see that kept my girls happy. We were glad the beach was so close and having the pool to lounge was another bonus. Relaxation and fun is what we hoped for and that is what we got and much more!!

This makes the second year in a row we've stayed here and each time it's better and better. The condo is great, well laid out and spacious...and the furnishings are much nicer than other condos we've stayed in during our visits to the Ft. Walton/Destin area over the past 20 years. It's like having a private beach to yourself and watching the boats come in and out of the pass all day is very entertaining. And, the inpromptu air shows and fireworks displays are awesome. See you guys next year if not before!!

For the past 2 years, our family has celebrated Christmas in this luxery condo. We were looking for a place that would feel like home yet allow us to simply relax and enjoy our family during Christmas. My children have both told us that these last 2 Christmases were the best they have ever had!! If I could win a vacation to a condo on the beach, my wish would be right here!! This last year, we were welcomed with the most incredibly renovated gormet kitchen....preparing meals was pure pleasure!! Thank you Mrs. Jeanne for sharing your home.
