I am just back (very reluctantly) from Rome, and wanted you to know that La Giulia more than fulfilled my expectations - it was, simply put, ideal. This was my third visit to the city, and by far the most satisfying. I can't wait to go back, and I will plan my dates around the availability of "my" studio. Stupendo!

We were so delighted with our little studio apartment. It was clean, providing the comfort that we find at home. Especially with my husband being in Afghanistan, finding it most appealing. The bed was comfortable, kitchen efficient for preparing meals, which we did! The location was so perfect lending access to a small local market, public bus, walking to Vatican City only a few miles away. Many many walking locations. All easy to get around and about. We certainly would recommend this apartment

This was our third stay in La Guilia. It really feels like home. With the improvements, the new shower and air conditioner it was even better. The location is just perfect, we walked to all the sites from here. Campo diFiore is just wonderful for fresh fruits and veggies every day. DaBufetto is great for pizza. Alfredo e Ada is the best Restaurant we have been to. Via Banchi Nuovi 14, closed weekends. it is near S Angelo Bridge. Trastevere is a five minute walk, lot's of sights and good food. Piazza Navona, 10 minute walk for nightly entertainment and gelotto. This is a great location to just savor Rome and to be part of the experience, rather than just a tourist.

Italy Perfect's customer service is amazing. Lisa and team are the ideal company to rent an apartment from. They were prompt, clear and focused on providing me with excellent service. They have a nice inventory of apartments to choose from no matter your travel budget. I loved La Guilia because of the location (centrally located, safe, clean, quiet neighborhood). It is one of their smaller apartments but it was perfect for my 11 year old and I. We met several of our neighbors and local business people who were always cordial. Within a 5 minute walk, you have the most amazing restaurants to choose from (Pierluigi was our favorite, recommended by many locals and is only a 1 minute walk). Staying in the La Guilia apartment added to the charm of our Rome adventure.

We enjoyed the super location, cozy studio/one bedroom, many inexpensive restaurants nearby (good food cheap). We'd stay there again when we return and recommend it highly.

This is an excellent studio apartment. The best aspect is the location - 2 minutes stroll to Campo del Fiori with its daytime market and its restaurants and bars. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

La Giulia is a comfortable little nest located in a charming 15-16th century part of Rome. I loved the neighborhood with Campo de Fiori so close by, and made the Campo a part of every day, whether it be for coffee, wine in the evening, or shopping for fresh produce and pasta. I would definitely recommend La Giulia to a friend. It is quite small, and very cozy, but perhaps too small for two large people. Absolutely perfect for one person. I hope to stay there again.

A wonderful place from which to see historic Rome. Walking distance to all the major historic sites. I highly reccomend La Giulia. We ate several meals in during our 9 day stay. Near by market and shopping had all we needed. Very comfortable. We will return to stay there again. I have reccomended it to friends. It made for a fabulous trip to ROME. Owner was available and helpful. THANKS!

My weeklong stay at La Giulia couldn't have been better. The apartment is cozy and quiet, and is a relaxing retreat from a busy day out and about beautiful Rome. The location couldn't be better, just steps away from lovely Piazza Farnese and Campo dei Fiori, both perfect for people watching over a coffee or glass of wine. Italy Perfect staff were helpful and professional. I especially appreciated the materials they sent prior to departure.

La Giulia is in the best location -- 2 blocks from Campo de Fiori and close to old Rome, etc. Buses are only a few blocks away. The apartment is so quiet we didn't wake up until noon one day. Check the steps carefully. We didn't have a problem, but it is a small area and a small climb up to the apartment.

The accommodations looked exactly like the photos on line. We loved coming "home" to our own place after a vigorous day of being out and about in Rome. We shopped each day for fresh produce, fruits and meat at the Compo di Fiori outdoor market and spent our cozy winter evenings cooking and enjoying this great apartment. The location was ideal for walking to sights, and bus and tram transportation. We would definitely stay at La Giulia again and would also recommend our friends to do so, if staying in Rome. Thank you for making it available to us. Nancy and Keith Mietz, Healdsburg, CA

Rome is one of my favorite cities in the world. This was my third trip to Rome so I knew the area where I wanted to stay. The little La Giulia apartment was in a perfect location, near the Tiber River and also very near the Chiesa Nuova bus stop on Corso Vittorio Emanuelle II. It was easy to hop on bus #40 to Termini and take a train to another town for a day trip, or hop on bus #64 to easily go to many attractions in Rome. Of course, walking in Rome is the best, and La Giulia provides an excellent starting point. As for the apartment itself, the extremely hot water from the hot water faucets (Do water heaters in Rome have temperature settings?) had to be regulated carefully. But generally, the apartment was fine for my husband and me, and we enjoyed our stay there. I certainly plan to call on Italy Perfect and Paris Perfect again in the future. We appreciate the great service. Aldis A. Donald, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama

We really enjoyed it, most of all dealing with you because of your experience. Loved the location, the bathroom not the best, but having a [loaner cell] phone was great and all your tips. Loved Rome. We hired a guide through Rick Steves. Loved the bed and real coffee pot. We will always try to go through you and your service. Lynn M. , California

La Guilia was a wonderful little spot, away from the noise but a few moments to be in the wonderfully upbeat area of Piazza Farnese and Campo dei Fiori. Great people-watching. So many good pizza places. Traveling solo, it was good to feel safe, comfortable and in such close access to terrific eating spots. Piazza Navone was a neighbor and it, along with other nearly all the other sites were so easy to visit twice on foot. Never used a bus or taxi because the walking to nearly every interest was just the exercise needed after a steady diet of pizza, pasta and gelato! Apartment was comfortable and felt like home right away. The terrific Pierluigi, and Osteria del Pesce were moments from the door. Lynn, Ashland, OR

This apartment was a dream come true. It was our first time in Rome and the location and size was just perfect for the two of us. It was very clean and we had no issues whatsoever. We were in the center of everything in the city. We walked everywhere, the Vatican, Imperial Rome, Campo di Fiori, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, etc. Everything was a short walk from this apartment. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Rome. I can't recommend ItalyPerfect and La Guilia enough!! K G, Michigan

We loved La Giulia. We loved the ruby-tiled bathroom. We loved the winding wrought-iron staircase. We loved the deep window wells. We loved the location. You prepared us well. We appreciated having our train ticket in hand to Florence in advance. We appreciated the guidebooks in the flat. The only drawback, if I must list one, would be the European-style bathroom with the shower right in with the sink, but I've lived in Italy and I know that's how they mostly are. The water pressure was great and we had lots of hot water so, really, wiping off the mirror now and then is nothing to speak of. Thank you for running such a delightful flat. When we return, we will seek out La Guilia again, without hesitation. Many thanks. K.S., San Francisco, CA

Thank you for the excellent service you provided. We had a wonderful time in Rome. We loved the apartment; it was cozy and comfortable and perfectly located. It was an easy walk to most of the major sights or we could just hop on a bus without any problems. It was great going "home" to our "own apartment" and started to feel like the locals. Francesca was very nice and we are looking forward to returning next year. Vanessa Gonzalez, Glendale, CA

Haven't had the chance to thank you and Francesca for the wonderful "little home" we stayed in for the week of Mar. 22-30. You're right the location was/is perfect. We walked all over (a total of 75+ miles) between our week in Paris and our week in Rome. I must say Rome was much warmer. Again, thank you for making our stay absolutely wonderful. Hopefully we'll be able to visit you next year. Sheila & Bill Wakida Jackson, California

Just a quick note to say that our recent trip to Rome was a great experience (despite mostly cloudy, drizzly skies) and the La Guilia apartment was an important part of it. It exceeded our expectations in every way -- great location, elegant, and clean. It was also nice to meet Francesca (as well as Gabriella). They were both very helpful in answering our questions and making suggestions. We look forward to our July trip to northern areas, ending with a week in your Michaela apartment in Florence. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay in La Giulia. The location is exceptional. The apartment was actually larger than I had anticipated. The small bathroom and shower arrangement was not an issue. Working with Lisa at Italy Perfect was a pure joy. It is a first class service. Thank You! Sam & Maura, Philadelphia, PA

We enjoyed the apartment! It was cozy, and a great neighborhood. It was great to come back to our own little nest after dinner in Campo de'Fiori or Piazza Farnese. The many guidebooks and maps in the apartment were helpful too. Sara Fields, Culver City, California

We enjoyed our stay in the via Giulia apartment. The street is very quiet, but also extremely conveniently located. We felt like the elegant Piazza Farnese was our own front yard! It was great to have our own cooking area. While we didn't make any elaborate meals, Francesca had provided everything we needed if we had wanted to. Every morning we walked over to the Campo di Fiore (2 minutes walk at most) and bought fresh bread from one of two wonderful bakeries and cheese, meat and fruit from the vendors in the square and brought them back to the apartment for a leisurely breakfast. There is a grocery store near by for necessities - like water and wine! We also had a really memorable dinner our first night at the Hostaria Farnese, which is very close to the apartment. The "mama" in charge will take excellent care of you.
