  We rented the trailer at Glen Lake, it was the most relaxing vacation ever. The fire pit on the beach was wonderful, then the fire in the fire place on those crisp nights was wonderful. Having our own dock, we spent one dayjust tubing and water skiing. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

  We had a FANTASTIC vacation here. The lake is gorgeous, as are the mountain views that go along with it. The cabin is very cute with a great screened in porch that came in handy for a rainy day. We also loved the fire pit. We made Smores almost everynight. It is also located fairly close to the shops & lake of Lake Geore, as well as many other attractions. The only thing that was disappointing was sharing the space with other renters. It was not well advertised that there was another rental on the property. Our group booked this house for the PRIVATE lake access, which we didn't really have. They other renters did have children, so for our adult group it was a little off putting. Other then that, this is a great vacation space as long as you dont mind sharing it with other people.

  Great clean well furnished cottage on the water, with awesome porch overlooking the lake! Kids loved the kayak, docks, fishing, swimming and sandy beach area. Cottage very nice and meets all your needs for a week away. Close to a lot of fun activities in Lake George and Bolton Landing area with great day hikes. The only reason for three stars is because there is another rental house on the property that you share the dock and beach space with. This is not well advertised (reason for 3 stars) so if you are expecting complete privacy and use of the lake space you may be disappointed. There happened to be no one renting the house the week we rented the cottage so we had a great time. However, for the price the house or the cottage you may be expecting to have a private (Definition: "Belonging to or for the use of one particular person or people only)" beach and picnic space. Otherwise this is a great cottage on a quiet lake!

  Owner response: We have two rentals on 1.61 acres with easy private access to 85 ft lake frontage. All the guests who have stayed in both places have not experienced a lack of privacy. Our guest who visited alone may not have been aware of how private the experience has been for the our other renters. They have been giving us rave reviews. Our second and third reviews were written by people who experienced having other people on the property.

  This is the perfect vacation house! Everything you could imagine needing is already here, and anything else you could possibly want is literally minutes away. My daughter had a ball swimming in the lake and learning to kayak, my grandma just enjoyed sitting peacefully on the porch, and my dog liked sitting by the lake and occasionally diving in :) The owners are very accomodating and friendly. We truly had one of the best vacations ever here and hope to return soon! :)

  We did not want to leave this little slice of paradise. There is nothing like starting of your days with a kayak ride on the peaceful calm lake and ending them with a campfire having s'mores. Views are amazing! Jumping off the dock was a great time, and the sunfish are very friendly :) The listing was accurate, as well as the pictures. When we arrived the place was spotless and ready for us to have a great time! The outside was also picture perfect and well maintained. Everything you need for a fun time is provided for you. It is also close enough to Lake George Village to go enjoy some of the fun there and hustle and bustle. Owners were in contact and could easily be reached at all times. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. We will be back for sure!

• Americade fun !!

  We just returned from a nice time at Americade, this cottage was in a perfect location, close to Lake George but far away to enjoy the peace & quiet. We came with a truck and a motorcycle trailer, so there is plenty of parking. The cottage is very nice, and has plenty of room. Despite some the of rainy days we had, we were able to get in some nice motorcycle rides and even kayacked on the lake. The owners are very nice, and we had some nice conversations about the history of the place. Our dog enjoyed the screened in porch to view the lake as well as his walks. We would definitely rent again, thanks for offerring a great place to escape too. M & M

  My families experience at Glen Lake was fantastic. Glen Lake was a quiet beautiful lake perfect for swimming and kayaking. Amazingly, it was also minutes away from Great Escape, Lake George outlets and everything we could ever need. The cabin was clean yet rustic and fun. The waterfront is perfect, our kids went swimming every single day and we barbequed most nights. The beds were very comfortable and I was impressed by how exceptionally clean it was. It was like a brand new cabin. Lastly the price was amazing, we will definitely be back next summer!
