What a pleasant, inviting place to stay in Athens! Comfortable, many amenities, convenient location. Having a kitchen and laundry facilities, plus all the small items (like dishwasher detergent, paper towels, coffee filters, etc.) provided really made a difference for us. Everything we needed and pleasant decor, but no excess clutter. The listing was accurate; the photos were helpful; the condo was clean and well-maintained; and the owner was very helpful in answering particular questions. We have no hesitations in recommending this property, and we'll be back!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was the perfect Athens getaway. The condo is so clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed sitting in the private back patio area. We walked to downtown and to the Five Points areas for shopping and dining. We would definitely go back and recommend this condo. Kelly was so nice and accommodating.

I hesitate to write a glowing review of the Dearing Terrace condo for fear it will be unavailable the next time my husband and I come to Athens. It is that nice a place. All the reviews below describe the rental to a tee. Thank you Kelly for assuring our comfort, and thank you too, for the the yummy birthday cupcakes. We had a great trip and look forward to staying at Dearing Terrace again.

Everything about Dearing Terrace is wonderful. It's a beautifully decorated, and recently remodeled condo. The location is fantastic, as well. I booked this for my family when they came in town for my wedding, and not only was it across the street from our wedding venue, but it had EVERYTHING they needed, and then some. It was the perfect size, and was way nicer and more homey than a hotel that they would have otherwise stayed in. The owners have done so many things to make this feel like a home away from home, from the decor to the cute little "makeup" towels, to the binder full of directions to great places to eat/visit. Kelly, the owner, was so helpful and sweet to work with. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Athens, it is well worth your money. Fantastic experience from start to finish!

This property was immaculately clean and was perfect for a visit to Athens. It was very comfortable and the location was perfect for accessing the downtown or campus area. The owner was extremely pleasant and very helpful in making sure that all needs and requests were met. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the Athens area. Really nice property!

This condo was the perfect spot for a 'meet in the middle' with a couple friends from Huntsville, AL. The whole process couldn't have been easier. Everything was clean upon our arrival. The decor was cool and welcomed you to make yourself at home. The condo's location was ideal for us to go for a run through campus and explore shops and restaurants downtown.

We were in town to visit our son, attend UGA lacrosse games, and celebrate Easter. The condo was very clean and well equipped. We cooked Easter brunch and the kitchen was well stocked. It was an easy walk to town and close to UGA campus. We plan on staying here again next time we are in town. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. The owner was very responsive and couldn't have been any more accommodating. Best place in Athens that we've stayed in over the last few years.

My brother and I along with a few friends stayed at the Dearing Terrace Condo for a weekend to celebrate his birthday. The owners rolled out the red carpet for us ... there were cupcakes and a very nice card when we arrived. The fully stocked kitchen (pots and pans, etc.) came in handy for a few meals, and it was a comfortable place for the six of us who stayed there. The easy walk to Varsity was a welcome surprise. Bottom line: You can't beat this place for the location, amenities and price. Thanks for a great stay! We will definitely return, and I would recommend this location to anyone.

This condo was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. I was meeting up in Athens with friends whom I haven't seen in the past 2 years, and we had an amazing time relaxing and soaking up many of the sights that Athens has to offer. The condo was extremely clean and extraordinarily modern. My group was contemplating staying at a hotel close to downtown, but this condo proved to be way better than anything we could have imagined! Especially with its location being so close to everything! And the owner of the property, Kelly, is very nice and pleasant to converse with about all of the details of your vacation. I can't recommend this place enough! And if I ever go back to Athens, I know where I'm staying again!

My husband and I, along with my daughter and her fiance stayed at Dearing Terrace for the wedding of our other daughter. The condo is spectacular! It's very attractively decorated, convenient to all things Athens, and provides loads of room for four or even six people. I only wish my house were as clean as this condo. Wonderfully soft linens were quite welcome when retiring for the evening. The rooms are large, the back patio adorable, and it's the unit closest to the parking lot. The parking lot location is very important when you've stood in heels for two days, moved 2 tons of "must haves" into your daughter's 8'x10' dorm room, or perhaps have a lot of tailgating equipment. The owner is lovely to deal with. Any information you might need about the condo or Athens is right at your fingertips. I would certainly recommend this rental for any football weekends, semester move-ins and outs, graduations or just a chance to enjoy the wonderful architecture that fills the college town.

This condo is as described or better - very clean, updated, well stocked...... We were travelling with our toddler and Kelly made sure to have everything we needed for her including baby gates, toys, and a high chair. We were originally going to stay at a hotel in downtown but opted for this. Much better choice!! We will be back!

The owners were great about communicating with me and and answering all questions promptly. This made me feel cared for and comfortable. I loved the design of the space, the decor was very tasteful, and the beds and furniture were exceptionally comfortable! This property is well-maintained and stocked. The kitchen was perfectly designed and organized. I wish I'd had more time to cook in it! I love Athens, and my friends there, and so had a lot of appointments and events surrounding a wedding party that I was a part of. This property was centrally located, and made it very easy to get to all of my events easily. This house was cheaper for us than the nicest hotels in Athens, and we had the added bonuses of a great kitchen and a hang-out space to have friends over to visit us in privacy, without the complexities of a hotel. Plus it was a lot quieter. Highly recommend this VRBO. Will rent it again when in Athens. And also recommend the National for great food. The Botanical Gardens for walking and group events.

I rented the condo for the weekend of the Georgia Southern/UGA football game and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The condo is fully updated and in immaculate shape, with plenty of space to sleep my friends and I. The kitchen was also fully supplied with all needed equipment. I would defiantly recommend this rental!

Upon arriving I was more than pleased with the accommodations. Everything was clean, organized and even well decorated! This kitchen had all the cooking supplies we needed and the bathrooms were large and great. This really is a great location and we could walk to everything we wanted. We even had a small cocktail hour with some friends downstairs and on the porch and it was just perfect. No matter the reason for your stay, even if you just wanna stay in the house, it's great! Oh and we didn't need it but there was a ton of stuff for kids in the house and all plugs were babyproofed. I cannot do anything but recommend this property. All our questions were quickly and clearly answered. This has been my best renting experience yet.

Dearing Terrace was the perfect "home away from home" for our family while we attended our younger son's wedding. Along with my husband and me, our older son, his wife and 6-month-old daughter stayed at the property. The listing description and photos were 100% accurate, the place was spotless and well-maintained. The condo comes with everything you could want to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. Kelly was easy to communicate with, and most helpful in providing us with much needed baby equipment. Our stay was a delight in every way, and far better than staying in a hotel with an infant. Wonderful property! Photos were accurate - very, very nice decor & amenities. Modern, clean & well-maintained. Owner was awesome! Surprised us with welcome pastries - even provided baby items & toys for the toddler. I have already recommended this condo to friends who live in Athens when they have guests. Went to GA Pottery Invitational at OCAF. Restaurants are fab! - The National, Last Resort, Five Star Day Cafe, Clocked, Five & Ten, The Grit, Big City Bread, East West Bistro, White Tiger. Went to The Georgia Theatre for a concert. Family from Europe who met us there were equally impressed with the property and we plan to use it for all future gatherings in Athens.

Our family and friends gathered recently in Athens for our daughter's wedding. My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I loved everything about Dearing Terrace. It was perfect for easy access to our welcome party at the Hotel Indigo, rehearsal dinner at the 5 & 10, wedding at the Day Chapel, and reception at Farm 255. The condo was beautifully decorated, well equipped, clean, comfortable, and had everything necessary to help us have a great time in Athens. We went to Athens for a long weekend for a family wedding and to find our daughter a place to live for the upcoming school year. The home was well equipped and very clean. We were a party of 4 and enjoyed the space thoroughly. We came home well rested and look forward to going back in two weeks for another stay while we settle our daughter into her new home. This house was absolutely perfect for our group of seven people visiting Athens for a wedding. The house was very well-located, just a quick .5 walk to downtown making it very convenient for our group with limited car access. Additionally the house was very nicely decorated and full of amenities; more than enough towels, laundry, iron and ironing board, sofa bed, and even a six=pack of Abita in the fridge. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Kelly and Scott were responsive, flexible, and very easy to work with.

We are in the second of two months at Dearing Terrace. It is wonderfully furnished for a long stay; very complete kitchen, lots of linens, etc. The bedrooms are generously sized and the living room furniture is pretty comfortable. Plus there are lights on both sides of both beds and on both ends of the sofa. The sun has not been high enough for the patio to be enticing but I can see that it would be nice a little later in the year. The location is very convenient to downtown and the university, but more by car than by bike or foot (though doable that way). The owner has compiled a very useful notebook with info, maps, directions, etc. The owner has been very responsive to a couple of calls with questions and to report a dripping faucet. We have been disappointed in the "bikability" of in-town Athens. The streets are very narrow with no shoulders; there are few bike lanes and those that exist are extremely narrow. So we have not biked to nearby destinations as we had thought we would. That makes it extra handy that we are near downtown and UGA. And some rural roads are great for biking. We got a terrific guide to biking at Dixon's bike shop. There is a lot to do here and the restaurants are off the charts for a city this size. Quite amazing. A strong music scene too, though generally not our style.

We had a great stay in Athens for graduation and the condo was the perfect solution! It was really modern, clean and had all the amenities that we could've wanted. We especially liked the back patio and the fact that the bedrooms are upstairs with their own bathrooms. We'll definitely be staying here again! Thanks Kelly!! The condo was perfect for our first Georgia Football game and parent weekend. We walked to the stadium and our daughter's dorms. It was very well equipped with towels and cooking utensils as we prepared food the evening before. It was an end unit with parking right there for unloading. Our boys slept on the pullout which was very comfortable. We will definitely plan on staying again. Thanks Kelly! Jayne and Jeff
