By thinking about what to write, I fear not to find the right words. This house is the most amazing place EVER. The host is the most amazing host EVER... I am really still speechless about everything. Bert answers any questions instantly and already gives a lot of information in advance, so nothing can go wrong. The house itself is beyond and positive words you can find. It's very clean and stylish. It has anything a home needs. The pool/outdoor area is something you usually only see in the movies. And the bed sheets... I have never slept so soft before. I could go on lionizing for ages, but there is probably not enough room here. Bottom line: this house feels like paradise and heaven united. THANK YOU!

This home is very comfortable and equiped with pretty much everything you will need. Great pool and backyard area. The master bedroom is roomy and has a sliding door out to the patio and pool. The king bed is very comfortable. Nice flat screen tvs in all rooms. Kitchen is very nice and is part of the greatroom that looks out to the pool, as well. Hope to return in the future!
Owner response:We're glad we were able to accommodate your getaway from the foggy coast weather for some Palm Springs sunshine! We look forward to your return.

We felt so at home...so nice to vacation in a real house. The pool was perfect size and temperature. We were close to everything in Palm Springs. Can't wait to go back but next time it will be for a longer time than a week.
Owner response:We're happy to have you for multiple weeks! Reserve well ahead of time to make sure you get the dates you want!

When you first walk into this lovely one level mid-century ranch you will notice the beautiful, private pool that the home surrounds. The best part about the pool other than its privacy is that it's heated! It's a little piece of heaven. The home is close to downtown Palm Springs, just a few blockers away from The Rivera Hotel as well. There is a grocery store close by along with THE BEST DONUT SHOP EVER! The home is well stocked with lots of cute orange cooking utensils. Lots of color in the house! The whole place made for a relaxing, fun vacation.
Owner response:We'll definitely have to add the Albertson's donut counter to our list of recommended eateries! We're glad you enjoyed your stay, we're looking forward to your return.

Sadly I haven't met Bert but I totally love him. He was amazingly quick in communication which in my business I love. I made arrangements with him the day of my travel (very last minute planning) and he was very accommodating and quite frankly not a rude jerk like some of the other people I contacted. Happily his place was really the only one I really liked and couldn't have been happier to be able to stay there. The pool was perfectly warm even without turning on. Loved the wi-fi. Used the kitchen the whole time. It is only minutes from downtown PS. There was a welcome basket on the table (so thoughtful) and every little thing was already thought of in the house. Would have only loved it more if it had a fire pit. Sadly the dryer takes a little longer than the average one to dry.
Owner response:We're glad that we could accommodate you on short notice and that you enjoyed your visit. We look forward to your return. Thank you for your suggestion of a fire pit, something we've considered, but with the Palm Springs winds safety for our home and our guests have kept us from installing one. We appreciate the heads up on the dryer, we will definitely have it serviced! Thank you, Bert

Palm Springs was a new vacation location for us and the home was perfect for our first visit. The owners have made it an ideal vacation home and base on our stay experience, they put a great deal of care and attention in its maintenance, which shows in the decor and equipment. The home is very welcoming and comfortable with a large pool. The covered patio and its outdoor furniture are great for chilling out and relaxing. We found the location of the home ideal with easy reach to downtown Palm Springs and other desert resorts, including Joshua tree, San Andreas Fault and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway with its great views. We enjoyed both Palm Springs and the home. Bert and Berlynn, many thanks for a wonderful home and rental service. We highly recommend Nici’s Pool House to suit your Palm Springs vacation needs. Some words in Dutch....Bedankt en graag totziens
Owner response:We're glad you used our home as a base for discovering Southern California! We're happy to have you back any time! Tot ziens!

Myself, husband, brothers along with their significant others, had a fantastic time here. I also brought my 3 year old son. From the beginning everything was seamless. The directions were easy to understand and the house was ready to use with all the kitchen appliances that you would want including state of the art dishwasher and stove. The renovation looked excellent and there was a running theme through the house reminding you that you were in Palm Springs. The colors from the outside to the inside were well chosen and warm and just made everyone feel at home. The heated pool was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it including my son who could not get enough of the water. The 3 bedrooms were well furnished and each had their own theme along with flat screen TVs in each room. The pictures that were posted about this place are not at all exaggerated. We found everything to be just as reflected. Overall we had a fantastic time in Palm Springs as we got to relax in the house and enjoy the surrounding areas of the city. I received major kudos from my family for selecting Nici's Pool House.
Owner response:We're so glad that everyone had a good time and that you enjoyed the pool as much as you did. We look forward to having you again!

We stayed at this beatiful home for Thanksgiving 11-23 to 11-27 and we couldn't have expected more than we got at this property; even before our arrival the owner was so attentive by confirmin the time of our arrival to make sure that everything will be in perfect order to recommendations to their favorite restaurants, but once you arrive at this property is when you feel truly relaxed and confortable. They have every possible kitchen gadget along with beautiful dishes and everything that a cook will need to prepare great meals (don't forget the great barbeque in the outside covered area by the pool) which brings me to the pool itself (gorgeous, sparkling and heated) we expended a lot of time outside and enjoy the beautiful garden and the pool are. The rooms are well appointed and the master suite has a roomy and adorable bathroom that connects to the patio area as well as the master suite that has direct access to the pool area. I'm afraid that if I keep describing this property I will never be able to book it again because all of you will book it too! Great owners and beautiful property; we'll be back very soon! Thank you, Alma Rauda and family

We stayed at this house recently for just shy of a week, and had a great time. Six of us stayed comfortably inside, along with our dog. The rooms are fun and brightly lit, and especially in such a hot area, the ample fans, air conditioning, and swamp cooler were very much appreciated! A comfortable couch was provided in the large master suite, in addition to the large bathroom. The common areas were very convenient in their layout and facilities, and even our dog felt very comfortable. The yard was great fun, with a large covered patio besides the pool, and two even larger sunbathing areas. The fences were well sealed up so we felt fine letting our small dog wander around on his own. The location of the house is very convenient for Palm Springs, with two large grocery stores very close by and downtown just a couple minutes way. Walking out the front door gives a great view of Mt San Jacinto, and the house was very easy to find driving into town (which was a great bonus, since we got in late at night). We barely even knew the neighbors existed, and the area felt very comfortable and relaxed. This was everything we were looking for in our vacation, and having this large house to stay in was much more convenient than getting hotel rooms. We hope to visit again soon!

Staying at the pool house was a great experience. You walk in and instantly you feel an atmosphere of relaxation due to the decor. Each room has its own flair! Most importantly, the pool area is lovely; it allows for sunbathing or lounging under shaded areas. Another benefit, you can eat indoors or outdoors, for the house offers both options. This clean and stylish house truly offers an ideal getaway.

No surprises here! The property was as lovely as it looks in the photos - and what an incredible backyard. An absolutely huge pool (big enough for laps), covered patio and landscaped areas. Oodles of privacy. This house is located in a beautiful and safe residential area, perfect for walks. I stayed in the middle bedroom and slept comfortably and peacefully the night through. There is a lot of space for one's belongings and I adored the rain shower head in my bathroom! The entire home has an updated, 1960's retro look. I particularly liked the polished floors! Check them out!

I managed to feel so comfortable during my stay that I felt like I was home! The house was immaculately clean and offered all the comforts of being in your own home. The pool is awesome, and I fit in naps by the pool every day. While the home offers privacy and seclusion it is also close enough to shopping that it is convenient! All in all, everything was just as described in the listing! I can't wait to return to what I've been referring to as my home away from home.

We were among a few Friends and Family who were invited for an early stay in this comfortable home. The backyard and pool are great and the description does not do the pool justice. We put our iPod into the docking station in the living room and listened to music outside. The kitchen is well equipped and we found everything that we needed to cook a great meal. The beds are comfortable, we love the fluffy towels and the onsite laundry facility is appreciated. The airport is nearby which is extremely convenient, but with the double windows and foam roof anything outside certainly didn't bother us inside. We can't wait until they finish renovating and decorating, we will definitely be back later this year.
Owner response:We've been renting to Friends and Family as a trial while we are dialing in the last of the home's comforts. We've learned that the Vera Wang towels are appreciated. The stereo system sounds great and that the sectional sofa - though not meant to be a bed - is a great place to take a nap. It is our intent that when our home is available to you this Fall that we have worked out all of the issues. We thank our colleagues, friends and family members who have been willing test subjects!

This property is close to shopping and main roads, but manages to be far enough away that it felt like our own secluded oasis. With the beautiful view, large pool, and all of the conveniences of a home, this rental exceeded all of our expectations. We enjoyed the comfy lounge chairs and poolside dining area the most. The house is very clean, with 3 generous bedrooms. It was spacious for 2 people, and would be comfortable with 4 or 6. We hope to plan another weekend and bring along some friends very soon!
