The cabin is almost 4000 square feet with an award winning kitchen, a beautiful meadow with a spectacular view, and a inviting, open design to enjoy space. Our cabin has 4 bedrooms, 1 loft, 3 baths and is near downtown Truckee. You'll have everything you need here including linens, appliances, washer and dryer, etc. It Sleeps anywhere from 8-12 people with 1 king size bed in the master bedroom,and also 2 queens and 2 twins in the guests bedrooms. Our cabin includes a sauna, hot tub, attached garage, pool room with bar, and much more. During your stay you will be a short distance from, boating, guest privileges for Donner Lake, Tahoe Donner hiking, equestrian, bike riding, golf, driving range, fitness center, large public pool, lap pool, tennis courts, kids playground, shopping, dining, nightlife, and everything else Truckee has to offer.

We had a multi-family gathering at this wonderful home located next to a beautiful meadow. The accommodations were perfect for the adults and children as well as being pet friendly. We had performed extensive research to find a place for our families' Thanksgiving vacation and this home provided us with memories that will last a lifetime. We are hopeful that we can stay at this home again for another family vacation and would encourage others to do the same. Kudos to the owner, the manager (for the owner) and VRBO for giving us the opportunity to stay at this home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

From the moment we walked in the front door we knew this was the perfect spot for our vacation. In addition to the wonderful meadow views (we watched for local wildlife each morning), this home had everything we needed. Never did get around to using the sauna, hot tub, or pool table. Maybe next time. Wish the rest of the family could have joined us because the layout was just right for a bigger group. Dr. Bill was very easy to work with and answered our questions right away. We have stayed at other properties in Tahoe Donner and would definitely recommend this home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, pet owners.

About the owner: Hi, My Name is Bill Hummer. I am a Dentist in the Bay Area. I have been a Ski Patroller for 33 years. I have 2 kids ages 16 and 19. We use the cabin frequently during the winter but during the summer the availability is wide open.
Why the Owner Chose Tahoe Donner:
My Family and I love Truckee. We previously had a cabin a few miles from here and saw this cabin located on the Meadow and couldn't pass it up. The cabin is close to the lake, hiking trails, ski resorts, and downtown Truckee.
