Every amenity that you need to make this 2 bedroom + Bunkroom, 2 bath condo your home away from home is available in the best condo building on the beach, including towels and linens - just bring your favorite beach towel.

This immaculate, brand new condo is located on the 4th floor and has an incredible, unobstructed middle of the building view of the beach from a large balcony. You can literally see for miles down the beach from the 25 ft long (end to end) balcony. The view from the master bedroom is one of the best at the beach.

The Lighthouse is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico in the heart of Gulf Shores, Alabama and is near entertainment, restaurants, and shopping including grocery stores (2 minutes to the new Walmart). Every amenity that you can imagine is here for you including: indoor pool, 2 outdoor pools (one lap pool and one zero entry pool that's great for the kids), exercise room, and of course a boardwalk to a beach covered with sugar white sand.

When you arrive you will be welcomed by cool tile floors through out the unit, tons of floor-to-ceiling glass windows, gulf views from both the master bedroom and the living area.

The Guest Bunkroom is custom painted to look like the inside of a pirate ship. It has standard twin-sized bunk beds, a small dresser and a wall mounted flat panel LCD TV with DVD/VCR. A private guest bathroom with shower is next to the bunkroom.

The Gulf Front Master Bedroom is true luxury at the beach and has a complete wall of floor to ceiling glass overlooking the beach. It has a king-sized bed, TV with DVD/VCR and a sliding glass door that opens to the balcony for a view of the beach. Pamper yourself in the luxurious private master bathroom with his and her vanity, large walk-in closet, large whirlpool jetted garden tub, and separate shower.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, blender, coffeemaker, mixer, and a bar with seating with dinning table for eight. A pantry and plenty of cabinets offer ample storage space for food and supplies. All utensils and dishware are furnished. Adjacent to the kitchen is a laundry closet with a full sized washer and dryer with iron, ironing board and dust buster.

The Living Area has a queen-sized sofa sleeper, flat screen TV with cable and a 5-disk DVD/CD surround sound stereo system. The living area also has a complete wall with floor to ceiling glass overlooking the beach. A telephone with free local service is provided along with a high speed DSL internet connection with free unlimited DSL use. A large sliding glass door opens to the balcony for unobstructed views for miles down the beach. The balcony has plenty of room for relaxing with a full patio set including large table with six chairs, a chez lounge and side table.

  • We're so glad that we chose this condo for our vacation trip to Gulf Shores. It's been ten years since we've been to Gulf Shores, and the Lighthouse is a beautiful new complex. Unit 802 is beautifully decorated, close to the elevator, and has a spectacular view from the living area and the bedroom. This is the perfect place to stay in Gulf Shores!

  • The condo was beautiful. Everything we needed and much more for a fun spring break. Weather wasn't the greatest but we made due with other activities like shopping and site seeing. We enjoyed playing baseball on the beach and just being outdoors. The kids loved all three pools. LuLu's restaurant was the best. This is a must eat place. Good food, great atmosphere, fun for the adults and kids. The condo was clean and listening to the Gulf everynight was great. Thanks for letting us rent it.

  • Our stay at the Lighthouse (unit 802) was delightful. The interior of this unit is warm and cozy with a wonderful use of color. It was pure luxury to have the master bedroom suite with the huge closet and the whirlpool bath. The kids enjoyed the pirate-themed bunk bedroom with the tv during their down time. We spent most of our days making sand castles on the beach or swimming in the pool. We ate at Lamberts (with the throwed rolls and the prankster waiters) and the Waffle House across the street for kicks. Our final night was spent at my husband's favorite place in the world, DeSoto's. It was a memorable week and I wish we were still there.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our two month stay in 802. It is pleasantly decorated, was well furnished for our needs, and had a wonderful view of the beach and gulf. We always felt safe in the condo and even on the beach after dark. We enjoyed eating at the Steamer and Ducks, but ate at a variety of places, all of which were good. We also really enjoyed the area golf courses (we played at 14 of them) and with one or two exceptions found them worth the money. We will certainly consider 802 as our first choice if we are able to come back next year.
