Sunny Pine Lodge - Pool Table, Hot Tub, Lg Deck, Private Yard, Wifi
- Minimum stay:3-4 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:Yes
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Rest and relax at Sunny Pine Lodge, where you will find all the comforts of home in a tranquil wooded setting. Take pleasure in this home’s rustic cabin feel while still enjoying spacious rooms and luxuries to satisfy your not-so-rustic needs.
You will find that Sunny Pine Lodge is not located in a crowded development, but rather is situated on over an acre of wooded land left partially unfenced to allow the many deer who call Deschutes River Woods “home” to visit the yard, and to bring you a little closer to nature. While Deschutes River is not accessible from the home (steep cliff lined with homes on private property), you can hear the river rushing from the front yard. You will be able to read your favorite book in the front porch rocking chair while enjoying the sun and listening to the river, birds, and squirrels, or savor your morning coffee under the pines while watching for deer from the cobblestone patio.
This quiet cabin in the woods offers many other amenities as well, such as a six-person hot-tub, fireplace, woodstove, indoor fountain, and game room complete with pool table, foosball, and dart board.
Looking for a little entertainment while you’re here? Stroll through the shops in Downtown Bend and The Old Mill District, check out a few of the local breweries, or even catch a show at the Les Schwab Amphitheater – all are located within 10 minutes’ drive, but allow you to quickly return to quiet tranquility of Sunny Pine Lodge.
Looking for something a little more adventurous? You can be on the slopes of Mt.Bachelor in a mere 30 minutes! You’ll also find Sunriver, Lava Lands, and the Lava River Caves only 20 minutes away. Got kids? You can be at The High Desert Museum in only 10 minutes!

I wanted to extend my thanks to Chris and his family for their excellent service in making sure that our group was prepped and ready for our stay at Sunny Pine Lodge. The lodge worked great for our group, who loved all the activities on site, and we couldn't have had better weather for our ski trip. Thanks again for opening your home up to us and making our trip so memorable. Games galore, a well-stocked kitchen, cozy fireplaces and a fantastic indoor pond were some of the more standout accommodations. The hot tub isn't a bad reprieve after a long day on the mountain either. In addition, being within 45 minutes from the mountain and 15 minutes from town means you have great access to all that Bend offers, but also a secluded retreat where deer and other wildlife are almost guaranteed to make an appearance outside your window. Needless to say, we had a spectacular time filled with many memories.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Sunny Pine Lodge. The owner clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making our stay enjoyable. The home was so roomy we could have easily brought another family with us. Nothing like hot-tubbing outside on the deck during a beautiful Bend snowfall! We all enjoyed the pool table and foosball, large library of DVDs, and big stack of helpful travel brochures detailing things to do and see in the area. The home was immaculate, well-stocked, and decorated in an appealing/upscale style with appropriate rustic touches. All the tools were there to cook and serve meals, which made it so easy. Just a quick trip to the nearby grocery store and we were set. We ventured into nearby downtown Bend and the Old Mill area for shopping and dinner out. Easy drive from the house to Mt. Bachelor. We hope to visit again in the summertime!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My two boys and I stayed for 2 nights in February. The house was very clean and I felt right at home. The kids had a blast playing outside in the snow, downstairs in the game room, and I almost couldn't get them out of the hot tub. We even saw deer. The location was perfect... very quiet and peaceful setting, but still close to shopping and Mt. Bachelor. We definitely plan on staying here again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was a wonderful place to unwind and relax. More importantly, it was a comfy home away from home feel with the warmth and amenities necessary for comfort. I awoke to the smell of freshly brewed coffee (programmed the night before) and while sipping from my coffee mug and looking out at the beautiful scenery I watched in disbelief the 7 female deer on the front lawn just chillin'. Awesome!!! Close to stores but not too close and a hop skip and a jump to three sisters shops. I would definitely stay here again. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get away but still have the comforts of home and then some.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I had the most amazing time at the Sunny Pine Lodge! I was able to have a romantic time with my boyfriend as well as a quality time with my family all at the same time. We spent our days grocery shopping for dinner and spending time at Sisters, we'd come back and alternate nights of cooking for each other. Everyone felt very welcomed! You get the satisfaction of feeling at home and making it your own. The bedrooms were unquestionably clean and organized and the beds were serene. We had a hot tub outside our master bedroom where we relaxed and stared into the black starry sky. The kitchen was big enough for four of us to work in together including beautiful sleek granite counter tops. The kitchen was prepared with condiments. Entertaining and enjoyable nights of watching movies, playing pool, sitting by the fire and playing foosball. It was a dream vacation and I cannot wait to go back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I have been to this house on several occasions and each experience has been better then the one prior. This place is immaculately clean, and all the amenities make this stay a luxurious one. This is a very private location off the road and surrounded by trees. It is a very welcoming and homely place to be which makes it very hard to leave. I have been to a lot of different vacation style homes but this takes the cake, hands down. I cannot say enough about this place and my experiences here but to tell you I am a regular and look forward to returning.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great time at Sunny Pine. We did family night one day, and our 4 year old loved it here! Then our friends joined us for a couples weekend. The yard is amazing and relazing. Us ladies sipped cool drinks while the guys played horseshoes. The kitchen was a great spot for meals. The game room was a blast as well. We would love to come back! Peace and Quiet here. Thank you!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2
