This is a new apartment inside the recently completed Amapas 353.The unit is sophisticated with a bit of a loft feel and at same time, relaxing with everything you will need from fresh coffee, bottled water, and beach towels to enjoy your stay. The apartment has both a front and rear balcony which provide an incredible cross breeze and always an option of shade or sun. You will be able to sleep quietly with the balcony open and be able to listen to the crashing waves from the rear bedroom. The building itself has only 21 units which give it a boutique feel allowing space to enjoy your privacy. It is located one block above Los Muertos beach and situated conveniently to nightlife, beach clubs, restaurants, and shops in Old Town (Zona Romantica). This is a great location because it provides closeness to the beach without feeling congested and an easy walk to attractions. It is not unusual to spot dolphins or whales January through March from the apartment balcony. If you are not familiar with Old Town, it has a village feel where you can meet great locals and foreigners who will show you a warm smile, making your stay in Puerto Vallarta a better experience, making you want to come back. Very different from Cancun or the hotel zone.

About the owner: Felipe and Rob reside in Mexico's 2nd largest city, Guadalajara, driving distance from Puerto Vallarta . Felipe graduated from law school in Mexico, worked at translating documents, and quickly decided to pursue entrepreneurial passions, mainly painting. Rob is originally from Boston and worked for a Boston based companies marketing into Latin America before leaving corporate world and following an entrepreneur journey.
Why the Owner Chose Amapas: We bought this unit in 2012 and loved it so much, we purchased another in the same building that we spend most of the winter in. It's new with a contemporary design and clean lines. The sound of the waves is something that we didn't pay much attention to when purchasing but now realize how relaxing it is to listen to. For such a good size city, there is a definite connection to nature from this apartment.
