Enjoy the serenity and privacy of this peaceful cottage just off Route 89 between Seneca Falls and Ithaca, NY, on the Cayuga Wine trail. Off of a private road, this property has a long, level back yard and lots of trees. The cottage has all of the ammenities you will need. Sleep to the sounds of the waves just 20 feet from the shoreline. Step out the door onto the shaded deck, then down 3 steps to the beach. Once you are here it is easy to slip into 'lake mode' and to completely forget about everything you left behind.
The bedroom holds one double bed and the bathroom with shower stall is immediately off the bedroom. The open front room provides 2 additional single beds.
Once here you won't want to go anywhere else, but in case you do there is something to do in every direction. Grocery shopping is 15 minutes away. A Super Walmart is located within 20 minutes from the cottage. Canoga State Park is north of the cottage on Rt. 89. Don't miss Aurora, NY with Mackenzie Childs and beautiful Wells College and more on the East side of Cayuga Lake. If you golf the Seneca Fallls Country Club is minutes away and if minature golf and ice cream is more your speed then that is minutes away as well. Farmer's markets and produce stands surround the lake as well as the multi stop Cayuga and Seneca wine trails. Great restaurants are popping up on the lake every year. Our boat lift let's you keep your boat at the end of the dock - public boat launches are located to the north (Cayuga State Park) and south (Dean's Cove). Several marinas are located around the lake.

We loved the cottage it was everything we hoped for, it was very clean and cozy. It was one awesome week from grilling on the deck to a campfire right on the lake at night. The waves hitting the shoreline was so relaxing at night. We loved the front room with all the windows just one perfect setting. The owners are truly the nicest people to rent from. Everything they said about the place was totally correct if not better. We can't wait to go back and hopefully meeting them on our next stay.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Once again another amazing vacation in the greatest little cottage. We want nothing more than for our grandkids to be able to say we had the best vacations ever at the lake in "our" cottage. There is nothing more relaxing and fun then spending the week at that cottage. The owners are so accomodating and want you to enjoy yourself. This year the kids were out on the kayaks all the time otherwise they were swimming their hearts out on our own little beach area. This made falling asleep listening to the water easy. Very relaxing atmosphere, everything was well kept and clean. Perfect location, your steps away from the lake our family had a great time. We will be going back again this summer!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway.

Exactly as they described only better when we got there. Steps away from the water. We took our two grandchildren and they loved sleeping in the front room on the beds and listening to the water splash on the shore. We slept great in the bedroom and it was so nice and cool at night. One day we just sat in our lawn chairs in the water as the kids swam all day. The owners were so kind and wanted nothing more than to make sure we relaxed and had a wonderful time. They provide so much that I really overpacked. The cottage is inviting, clean and there are many extras that came with the property. Thank you so much for everything we had an amazing time and created a wonderful memory. Looking forward to returning to the cozy little cottage on the lake.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

My husband and I are simple people who love to fish. We rented this cottage for a week, The owner was very nice, accommodating and pleasant. The cottage was extreamly clean with all the basics. great view, great for people who have a boat and want to be on the lake!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+.
