Our home is open and spacious and sleeps 8 - 14 people. It has over 80 feet of waterfront property on Lake Dunlap and over 2000 square feet of decks overlooking the lake. It is perfect for swimming, boating, jet skiing, and canoeing. It's perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway or a fun filled, action packed vacation.
There are 3 bedroom suites - each with its own private bathroom. The master bedroom has one king size bed, the second bedroom has two queen size beds, and the third bedroom has one queen size bed. There is also a queen sleeper sofa, a full size futon, and two twin rollaway beds. It is fully furnished with everything you need to relax, yet stay connected.
We are 15 minutes away from Schlitterbahn Water Park, one of the best water parks in the United States! It has over 3 miles of tubing adventures, 7 children’s water playgrounds,17 water slides, the world’s first surfing machine, and 3 uphill water coasters spread over 65 acres of fun! 20 minutes away is the historic town of Gruene, where Gruene Hall, the oldest operating dance hall in Texas is located, as well as restaurants, music venues and lots of unique shops. We are famous for our tubing and rafting on the Guadalupe and Comal rivers, where people flock to enjoy the cool water.
If you love to shop, we are 20 minutes away the San Marcos Premium Outlet Mall, one of the largest outlet malls in Texas. San Antonio is 40 minutes away where you can visit the historic Alamo, the Riverwalk, Fiesta Texas and Sea World.

I knew this was a nice place just by seeing the photos online...but it is so much more than the pictures are able to convey. Our family (5 adults and 4 kids) had a wonderful time. The house is so roomy and we had everything we needed to cook our meals in the great kitchen. We loved the decks and the kids had a ball swimming and fishing on the lower dock. If you have younger children the water is deep so you will need life jackets for them. We also enjoyed the direct TV in each bedroom. We will certainly try to rent this house again. The owner (Jan) was very helpful and we appreciate all she did to make our stay so nice.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

My family and I enjoyed our vacation to this beautiful home on Lake Dunlap. The home was very clean and comfortable. The yard was very nice and the multiple decks were awesome. I especially appreciated the fence and gate which separated the yard from the lake front, as my 5 small grandchildren were there with us. This part of the lake was much quieter and had much less boat traffic than the other home on the lake that my sister and her family leased which was closer to New Braunfels. I briefly met Jan and she was very nice and helpful. We would definately consider leasing this beautiful property again. Thanks again Jan and family!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Our vacation was wonderful! The house was so much more than the pictures show. There were 11 of us and the house had plenty of space for us & then some. The decor is fabulous & very up-to-date! The kitchen was wonderful & I loved how it was open to the main living space! I never felt like I was off by myself when preparing meals. The outside space was fantastic. We were able to enjoy the outdoors from early morning (watching the sun come up w/ a cup of coffee) to the middle of the day (playing in lake) to the evening hours (sitting around with each other eating & talking on the decks). The waterfront area is fabulous! We swam, fished & had plenty of space for our two jet skis also. One of my favorite features of the house was the washer & dryer!! I know...when you go on vacation you shouldn't have to do laundry, but...we spent a week with 11 people & I took home NO dirty laundry! Wow! Last, but not least, this house is convenient to everything in town!! It is just down the road from a Walgreens & just as close to HEB & Wal-Mart. There are gas stations & convenience stores just down the road for gas for the jet skis. Thank you so much for all ya'll did to help or vacation be a success! We loved your house!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We were THRILLED when we arrived and saw the awesome backyard and multiple decks! This is a great rental house, seriously a hidden gem. 200- sq ft of deck space on 3 different decks! Great water access, awesome amenities. My group had 14 people and we fit everyone very comfortably and everyone had a great time. Will DEFINITELY try and rent this property again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
