This is a Luxuriously appointed one bedroom apartment in a tranquil setting close to Santa Ana and Santiago in the historical center of Merida.
The apartment has direct access to a large lush garden, big swimming pool and laundry facilities.
The garden and swimming pool are completely surrounded and secured by beautiful high stone walls covered in greens; nobody can look inside, which gives complete privacy. There are palm-trees, bird of paradise flowers and many other native plants all over the garden.
It is the perfect little, quite, green oasis in the middle of the city and the pool provides a fantastic cool-off after a day of exploring the city and the surrounding historical area's. You might have wandered around Paseo Montejo or stopped by the English Library, that are just a few blocks away.
The apartment is perfect for a couple; it has a bakery right across the street, lovely restaurants only a couple of blocks away that offer everything from wonderful Yucatecan food to freshly prepared pizza. Coffee shops are also in walking distance and if you have a taste for freshly ground coffee it can be delivered right to your door.
When you arrive, a representative from our management company will greet you and help with any question you might have.

Although a bit of a trick to find, it was worth the search. A quiet little oasis in a busy part of Merida. Walking distance to several plazas including the Central Plaza. Accomodations are nice and clean with a full kitchen. They provide potable drinking water and the yard with a private sitting area and pool were wonderful after wandering Merida. This is not near the shopping district or the "high rise" area that typically caters to Americans. We were quite happy to be away from that kind of scene.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

The apartment was very adequate for our needs. It was situationed in a part of Merida that was within walking distance to everything that we wanted to see. We spent a lot of time in the main square watching the people. When we got tired at $5 cab ride home was easy to find. The staff at the apartment were wonderful meeting all of our needs. My suggestion to anyone coming to Merida would be to learn a little Spanish as we found few people who spoke English. We had a wonderfull week in Merida.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.
