The location is perfect. Metro station is 2-3 minutes walk, but you do not really need metro. Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, Gran Via, Puerta Del Sol, Prado, Reina Sofia, Caixa Forum, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, ATMs, movie theaters, shopping mall etc. all are walking distance from the apartment. Luis is very honest, friendly and customer service oriented. Absolutely no issues with showing up on time, rent payment, getting back our deposit etc. The apartment is good for 2 Adults and 2 kids. For 4 adults it would be too small. The place is as described in the photos. It is clean, had all the pots and pans, crockery, towels, linen, wifi internet etc. The only thing we missed was English channels (including news channels) on cable TV. Overall a great experience and would rent the apartment again without any hesitation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This apartment is exactly as described. It is clean and cute and is in a great location for exploring Madrid. There are all kinds of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. It's also definitely close enough to walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Prado, Retiro Park and on and on and on. Luis was helpful and friendly. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended...Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed three days at this apartment. It is in a great location with small winding streets and great shops with cheese, wine, bread,+ fruits and vegetables. It is a short walk to all the great museums and train station. Luis is delightful and helped us with questions of how to get around and restaurants for good food. Only recommendation to the apartment = a large fan to get air up to the loft. The air conditioner worked for the lower level but it was hot up in the loft. Great palace, Luis is a hard working, honest person, and the apartment is in an old neighborhood. We are now in Barcelona and we wish that we had stayed a few days more in Madrid......but traveling is always a learning experience. Thank you Luis!!Recommended for: Age 55+

This apartment was everything my wife and I could ask for. After staying in hotels for most of our honeymoon, we spent the last three days in Spain at this apartment. This place helped make Madrid the most memorable part of our honeymoon. The location of this apartment is within walking distance of a lot of the tourist’s attractions. The Prado is right down the street. A little longer walk will take you to Puerta del Sol. Or if walking isn't your thing, there is a Metro stop a block away. The apartment is a nice little place. I would recommend it for 2-4 people. If your taller than 5'8 prepare to duck in the living room and loft in the this place. The furniture was very modern and trendy. The internet worked with no issues. Sheets and towels were provided. There were also pots and pans and dishware in the apartment. The only issue we had was figuring out the stove, but a quick search on the internet enabled us to cook away. (We were too embarrassed to call Luis and ask) Luis, the property manager, met us at the arranged time on arrival and departure. He spoke fluent English and was very helpful with recommendations on where to eat and shop. Stay away from the touristy restaurants, there were many gems within walking distance. Our favorite was El Abuelo in Puerta Del Sol. Definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here the next time my wife and I are in MadridRecommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This apartment was in a great location! However it says it sleeps 4, it does, but it's a tight fit with 4. We loved the neighborhood and Luis was good to work with.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Very nice apt, in a great location and clean. With all the amenities required. The only thing...if you are tall, you can have some issue the ceiling is short. But the Apt is very very nice. CiaoRecommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The apartment was indeed as described and seen in the pictures. It was clean and filled with necessary items like soap and toilette paper. The location is in Madrid old town, very touristic. You would think that noise coming from the street would bother you, but you hardly hear that except for the dumpster truck, which used to come early in the morning as I can remember. And, that was not an issue for us. By the way, very safe apartment. 3 doors to pass until you reach your apartment. I'd recommend this apartment for couples who would like to see all the touristic spots of Madrid since they are in walking distance.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Apartment was great. Amazing location, close to everything (great restaurants all around), great internet connection and easily accessible via Metro. Luis was amazing...gave helpful information, quick to responding to any needs and deposit return was quick and easy. The apartment is small (best for 3) but I prefer much more then a hotel. Would gladly stay again!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This apartment could not be more ideally located. Within a few blocks of the museums, within 6-12 blocks of the major Plazas. Charming neighborhood, with small restaurants, liquor/wine stores, and groceries very close by. We loved it, and hope to return again and again. The apartment is small, but just right for two people who prefer to stay far away from hotels. It even has a small balcony, not large enough for patio furniture, but large enough to stand on and watch the locals walk by. There is probably more foot traffic than autos on the small street, and not all that much of either. The street scene and the building were quiet and well kept.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment in Madrid. We were a family of four. It was a cozy and nice way to connect for great family time. Some might prefer more privacy with a two bedroom for 4 people, but the loft and sleeper sofa worked great for us. The sleeper sofa could have been a bit bigger for two adults. The location was the best, close to restaurants, bars, entertainment, shopping, museums, metro and more...... The street was quiet by Madrid standards, a nice residential street. We never got to meet the owner, as he was out of town, so someone else introduced us to the apartment. When you stay, ask how to use the washing machine. I used it, but am not sure if it was correctly used, but our clothes got clean. All was very comfortable. The kitchen was very useable and well stocked with cooking pots and dishes for simple meals with a one burner electric stove top. We did however need to purchase toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent. We would stay there again. For a larger group, it is possible to rent the two adjoining apartments that I assume are the same configuration as the front unit that we stayed in. There was tv and wi-fi and good lighting to read with at night. A wonderful place to visit Madrid from.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Very good apartment in a perfect location. Clean and well maintained. Perfect internet connection. Owner was very quick in responding to all our questions and concerns.
