  We are into week 3 of our 4 week stay in this wonderful condo and feel so at home we don't want to leave. When we arrived we immediately felt so comfortable - it's spacious, quiet, tastefully decorated and was immaculately clean. Everything you might need is here and you can tell that all furnishings and kitchen equipment are recently new, with very comfortable beds. Whilst we tend to eat out quite a bit on vacation and don't actually do much cooking it's great to have the space and facilities if you want to stay in one or two nights! The actual community, pool area and landscaping is wonderful. We rented bikes whilst here and, having looked around the area on our rides, we feel we've chosen the best. There are a few good restaurants/bars within walking distance and everything else is so accessible being very near the 101 and really not far from 'downtown'. We took 3 days/2 nights away to visit Monument Valley and Sedona and upon our return to Lakeside Villas and the condo, we both said that it felt great to be 'home' - that's how comfortable we feel here. I would also add that the owners, John & Jack were a pleasure to deal with, any queries/questions responded to immediately. We've travelled quite a bit around the US and Europe and believe this is one of the best if not the best we've stayed in. When we return to Scottsdale (and we will) we will definitely choose to stay here again - unless I've 'shot myself in the foot' with this review and can't get booked again!!

  We spent the winter in John & Cindy's Scottsdale condo. It was clean, had a high end king bed and was as represented. The grounds are exceptionally charming and picturesque with many mature trees and located on the lake and the bike trail. It is adjacent to a neighborhood mall with good restaurants and services all in easy walking distance. We had a postal problem as our mail continued to be forwarded to Arizona after we had gone home. While we were getting this stopped, John checked our mail box each day and personally resent every piece.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  Already knowing the area, we were very pleased with this condo and it's location. It was recently remodeled so everything was fresh and new. The listing was very accurate regarding the condo as well as the location. There are many great resturants within walkinf distance to avoid having to drive everywhere. The furnishings were new and very up to date. We would recommend this unit to anyone.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children.

  My wife and I stayed in this second story two bedroom / two bath condo for a few days in September and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The unit is extremely clean and the owners have done an excellent job remodeling and modernizing the condo. The community the property is in is gated and is in a very quiet part of town...yet you can get to the 101 in a matter of minutes if you wish to get out and explore. However, I think what we liked most about this listing was how easy it was to rent and work with the owner. Whether it was an email or a phone call to ask a question...Jack, or a member of his family, were always quick to reply. (Which...if you've ever inquired about some VRBO properties is hit or miss at times.) The other great thing about the condo is that you're a few hundred yards to a small business center that has a Zipps, TCBY, Indian restaurant, a breakfast spot, Melting Pot, and a Chipotle within walking distance as well. And if you're a baseball fan...this condo is also just a minute or two drive to Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. Overall we were extremely happy with our choice and would gladly rent this property again.
