This 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath home sleeps up to 8 people and is located in the heart of Savannah’s Landmark Historic District. Featuring 1800 sq. feet of totally updated living space, a private garage and a charming courtyard that was featured on the Travel Channel, this Cottage Style home is the perfect getaway. Shops, restaurants, bars, parks, River Street, City Market, museums and art galleries are all within walking distance of this property.
Here is why we loved the property and hope you will too:
The unusually large courtyard with flagstone floor, raised planters, custom stucco walls, a custom water feature, and a stainless steel grill make it the perfect place for family and friends to gather.
The sunroom overlooking the courtyard has lots of natural light and is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Downstairs you will also find a full kitchen, separate dining room, and a living room with a fireplace, exposed wood ceiling beams and full-size leather sleeper sofa. A 1/2 bath is hidden under the staircase.
Upstairs includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The large master features a king size bed and in-suite full bath. Bedroom 2 also has a king size bed and bedroom 3 has a full bed. Portable cribs can be provided free of charge for little ones.
When you're ready to venture out, you are perfectly located, as the house is equal distance in either direction from the Historic District's 2 main focal points (Broughton Street and Forsyth Park)...either is a nice 7-8 minute walk. Directly across the street from this property is The Crystal Beer Parlor, a Savannah institution for 75 years (make sure to try a few of their 'Beers of Our Fathers' selections).
Along with FREE wireless internet, for stays of 5 or more nights, our guests can enjoy lunch at Mrs. Wilkes on us (limit 2 Gift Certificates per stay, $36 value). If you are unfamiliar with this restaurant, it has been included in 1001 Places to See Before You Die, and most recently visited by President Obama.
We are from Savannah, we live in Savannah, and we love Savannah. We want you enjoy your stay in our home, and more importantly your stay in Savannah. We look forward to hosting you. Please contact us directly with requests for more info, pictures, or questions.

My family stayed at this lovely home for my son's wedding held at Telfair Square and the Jepson Center. The location was outstanding ... easily walkable to anywhere in the historic district including the wedding and reception! My favorite part of this property was definitely the patio with the fountain... very relaxing even for a very stressed out bride!! The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses and bowls. The beds were excellent!! And the garage was an added bonus!! Corey was very responsive to any of our needs. We enjoyed the Crystal Beer Parlor on our last night which is located less than one block away. This home is a true gem in Savannah!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

While preparing flowers for our son's wedding, we enjoyed this delightful, hidden paradise. The house was fabulous, the proximity to everything was wonderful as family and friends staying downtown could stop by to visit. We enjoyed Mrs. Wilkes and the Crystal Beer Parlor just around the corner . Thank you Corey----everything was wonderful.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We are so glad that you had a good time in Savannah and at our home! Thanks for choosing it for such a special occasion!

We had a wonderful time during our stay in Savannah! The home was lovely and located right in the historic district. We were able to walk everywhere and still enjoy the quiet and beautiful location of the home. The home was very clean and we had plenty of room for the seven people in our group. We loved being able to enjoy our morning coffee in the private courtyard. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Savannah!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thanks for the great review and we definitely hope you will come back and visit Savannah. Let us know next time you come and we will make sure to stock your favorite coffee!

The property was just as described- clean, quiet, a great location and very charming. We were able to walk to the shops, squares and restaurants and we especially loved the courtyard on those warm Savannah evenings. The Crystal Beer Parlor, just around the corner was good and fine dining at the Olde Pink House was delightful. One of our highlights was the experience of going to Mrs Wilkes for lunch!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: The courtyard is definitely one of our favorite things about the home too! Glad you got a chance to go to Mrs. Wilkes and the Crystal Beer Parlor. Thanks again for choosing Lucky Savannah Vacation Rentals.

Loved the property; very comfortable for 2 couples. Loved the Crystal Palor neighborhood tavern just 3 doors down. We had a blast there. It would have been better if their were more beach chairs and if the bike tires were not flat. Will stay again if I'm ever in Savannah.Recommended for: Age 55+.
Owner response: We are glad that you had a good time in Savannah and enjoyed the Crystal Beer Parlor, it is one of our favorite spots too! We apologize for the beach chairs and bike tires. Most rental properties downtown don't provide beach chairs at all but we have instead decided to limit the quantity. I wish we could provide more but people seem to forget their worries and their beach chairs on their day trips to the beach! We try to check everything, but it looks like we missed the bike tires this time. We encourage all our guests to take advantage of the fact that we live and work in the neighborhood. You can call us immediately with any issues such as this, as we would have been happy to come by and share some air. We look forward to hosting you again on your next visit and earning that coveted 5th star.

We had a wonderful stay in Savannah. The house is beautiful and Corey is great to work with. There were six women and all agreed this is the best house we have rented from VRBO. The food at Mrs. Wilkes was wonderful. Recommend the Pink House for lunch. Enjoyed watching the movies filmed in Savannah. Only complaint was that the weather didn't cooperate to fully enjoy the patio and waterfall. would stay there again and highly recommend to anyone wanting a convienent and beautiful home to rent for their stay in Savannah.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We much appreciated our stay in Savannah is good part due to our wonderful accommodations We were within walking distance from all activities in the historic district of Savannah and had numerous playgrounds and parks to take the kids. We loved out stay at this property. The house was beautiful and came truly had a Savannah charm to it. We were close enough to walk everywhere; Civic Center, Bay and River Street, SCAD, Forsyth Park, Bull Street Station, City Market and Mrs Wilkes! Courtyard was wonderful for morning coffee. Crystal Beer Parlor is around the corner which was great for take out. Next time we head back to Savannah we will probably rent again. The location, off street parking and the gift certificate to Mrs. Wilkes are all worth it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Location, location,location....it's the best. The house, courtyard, bedrooms...all exactly as pictured and described. Mrs Wilkes for lunch is DA BOMB...best fried chicken, hands down! Home is so cozy, quaint and comfy...having a garage to park in made it even better. BIG garage too...no problem fo the biggest of SUVs. Being able to walk to everywhere is awesome.....nothing more than 5-10 minutes walking. Would recommend the Crystal Beer Parlor right on the corner of Jones and Jefferson...delish Fried Green Tomatoes....and very friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys the comforts of home and the convenience of being right in the best part of Savannah.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

We came to Savannah for SCAD graduation with three families of two. Six people fit perfectly in this home. We loved the charm and wonderful atmosphere of the home. We enjoyed being in walking distance to anything and everything. The home was spacious and clean, the landlord was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to get away in Savannah. We hope to come back someday!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: Born and Raised in dowtown Savannah, we know every nook and cranny of the Historic District. This property was our first home and we loved starting our family here. Since moving a couple of miles from downtown, we have rented it to family/friends for last 2 years. Our recent foray into VRBO comes from our desire to stay connected to downtown, and hopefully allow our love and knowledge of Savannah enhance the visits of the guests in our home.
Why the Owner Chose Savannah:
We bought this home as our first residence after marriage. We moved away from downtown as our family has grown, but we held on to this home due to its unique character and location. We are lifelong Savannahians, on permanent vacation here.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Secure, off-street parking for the property, lunch at Mrs. Wilkes (without waiting in line), a level of service that surpasses hotel concierges, 3rd party Vacation Property Managers, etc....an extra large courtyard
