I rented the house for myself, my daughter, and four of her friends on prom weekend. The house was lovely and spacious with elegant but comfortable furnishings. Every need had been anticipated, including extra linens, books, movies, and games. There was even a game room in the garage, which we hadn't realized by looking at the rental information. Me and my family enjoyed our stay at this home and plan to stay at this location in the future. Everything was situated in the home comfortably and I loved the rustic feel of the home. I recommend anyone staying in Arlington to stay at this house which is close to Cowboys stadium. The only thing that I wish the home had was a second bathroom. I also loved the foosball table and dart board game that was in the home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We recently stayed as a large family for my brother's wedding and the house was a perfect fit. The house was wonderfully decorated, including a Christmas tree, to make you feel comfortable and at home. The house was very well-stocked...even having a high chair, which was awesome for us! The owners are very friendly and great to deal with. Very prompt emails and phone calls.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This spacious and stylish home was ours for over a month. We felt comfortable, safe, and were perfectly situated for touring around Dallas/Fort Worth and northern Texas. But staying home was great too! The neighborhood is nice for walking - the library, shops, a farmer's market, and loads of restaurants are within a short walk from the house. Just a couple of miles down the road is a Whole Foods and shops like Gap and Gap Kids. We could stay in to read, play darts, watch movies and have hot cocoa on cool days. The kids played and played in the huge back yard. We were minutes away from both the Rangers and Cowboys stadiums and toured those on a beautiful day. The incredibly gracious and helpful owner told us about the Fort Worth Rodeo and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! She also helped with a restaurant, hair stylist, and auto mechanic recommendations and even helped us get a temporary library card! She could not have been kinder. The home was CLEAN and STOCKED with everything necessary to make our stay perfect. The location is quiet and friendly, safe and well situated. It was hard to leave and I'm sure we will be back the next time we visit Texas!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I have to say I loved this little house! I have two severely disabled boys and to be able to just stay in one place for an extended time made our trip to The Restoring Love Event at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium a breeze! My family and I stayed here while attending a game at Cowboys stadium. It was a great location, as it was only a 5 minute drive to the stadium! The house was wonderfully decorated! The kitchen was updated, and had everything we needed. The satellite tv was a nice addition as well. The only downside was there is only one bathroom, but we managed. We think if there was a small half bath added, the house would be absolutely perfect. I recently stayed at the Olive Branch with two other girls to attend an event in the Arlington area. The location is convenient to EVERYTHING Arlington has to offer with an easy hop onto 360 or I-30 to go anywhere else in the metroplex. The house was extremely clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable with room for all three of us to spread out. I have also stayed in the two other properties owned by this couple and they maintain high standards in all three.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house was amazing! I felt like I was right at home, I didn't feel cuttered like at a hotel. Love the fact that everything was so nearby; wal-mart, stadiums, six flags, etc. It was just too bad that we only stayed for the weekend.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We love the character of older homes and enjoy turning something old into something new. With our schedules it is very difficult for us to travel so we will pack a bag and keep it local. We spend more time enjoying ourselves than driving or on a plane and still get that feeling of "getting away". It's amazing how much you learn about a city when you are there as a "visitor". We named the home "The Olive Branch" mostly because of the green olive colors of the exterior. We were pleased to later discover that an olive branch symbolizes peace.
Why the Owner Chose Arlington:
We hope Six flags, Hurricane Harbor, The Ranger and Cowboy's Stadium leads to more visits from family, nieces and nephews!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
It's great to be a short drive away from amusement parks, sporting venues, downtown's restaurants and walking distance to the Pavilion but as simple as this may sound we look forward to hearing the church bells when we are there. The covered patio in the backyard is not very large but it's the perfect cozy spot to relax with a cup of tea and read a book.
