Celadon condo description
We have just purchased this condo as a second home for our family, and would like to share it with you and your family. We have remodeled the entire unit with top of the line "West Indies" scheme furnishings.
Celadon Beach, Panama City Beach's newest gulf-front community, is on 283 feet of the emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Located in the Exclusive West End of Panama City Beach on Front Beach Road, it is private, yet close to all the activities that Panama City Beach has to offer.
This brand-new, very upscale, tenth-floor unit comes with it all. Two bedrooms, two baths, plus a bunk room, this unit sleeps eight comfortably. Our condominium has been professionally decorated with top of the line furnishings, 18x18 ceramic tile, nine-foot ceilings, a kitchen with all stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, whirlpool garden tub, and cultured marble tubs, shower and vanity tops.
This vacation rental includes a king-bed in the master, 2 full beds in the second bedroom, and bunk bed in the bunk room. This condominium comes with a 32" TV w/DVD&VCR in the living room, 20" TV w/DVD&VCR in the master bedroom and a 20" TV in the second bedroom
The dining room will seat four and is separated from the kitchen by a breakfast bar with three bar stools. From your private, twenty-five foot balcony overlooking the Gulf, you will enjoy breathtaking views and awesome sunsets.

I was very pleased with my stay at this condo. Beautiful views of the beach, the weather was a little uncooperative the first few days, but it started getting better each day. The owner was very nice and wonderful to work with. My family and I will be coming back again next year.

This condo was exactly as listed and the pictures were acurate. It was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay their very much. Access to the beach and swimming pools and restaurants was great. Will definitely stay again. If you have young children, the Pirates Cruise and dinner at Capt. Andersons is a great way to spend an afternoon.

My family had a wonderful time staying in your condo and at the Celadon...Despite all of the rain we still had fun on the beach and in PCB..Loved getting to ride the old Miracle Strip rides at Pier Park with my grandsons...Thank you For the great price and hospitality...

We enjoyed a family vacation here in June. Location is great and the condo is lovely. It was a perfect week and we can't wait to come back to this complex and unit again!

When we arrived at the condo at the check-in time suggested by the owner. The cleaning crew (a woman and an young girl) was still in the room. They still had cleaning to do so we brought our stuff in and placed it in one room so they could finish and left. The lady said that it was taking her longer than usual. When we arrived again, she said that she was still waiting on towels to dry because they dryer was not working properly and it was taking 2 or more cycles for them to dry. The bed in the master bedroom was not made and the linens and blankets were in a pile on the floor. She said she would have to come back later because she did not have the sheets to fit that bed. At some point hours later, she returned to make the bed. The floors were sandy even after she had just finished cleaning but we didn't complain because we were at the beach. We noted that one of the bar stools were broken so we just did not use the bar stool. We assumed the owner realized this since it was like this when we checked in.The water hose that goes to the washing machine was so full of sand that water would barely come out to fill the machine to wash clothes. We had to unclog it just to do laundry. These were simple things so we didn't feel it necessary to notify the owner. Upon checkout, we removed all trash, swept the floors, put all towels by the washer, etc. The condo was left in better condition than it was when we checked in. We contacted the owner to find out when we could expect our deposit to be returned. It took days and several calls and emails to get him to respond. He stated first that he would not be returning our deposit because we had broken a bar stool, there were drinks spilled on the floors and on the walls, and that it took the cleaning crew much longer than normal to clean the condo. He stated that he would have to purchase new bar stools and since they come in sets, then he would have to keep the deposit to purchase new ones. There were 3 stools in the condo, so apparently one has been "broken" before or something similar. We requested on several occassions, pictures of this damage and a copy of the cleaning bill. He refuses to provide either. Another email exchange says that the cleaning crew was not charging him extra and they had complained about the watermelon that was all over the porch area. This is an absolute fabrication as NO ONE ever had watermelon the entire time there. In a phone conversation he denies saying this.

Owner response: It’s sad when a family feels like they can rent some place, break things and trash the entire condo and yet not be held responsible. I think anyone who knows about renting condos understands it is cleaned and checked over completely between when renters leave and the next renters come in. We have been using the same cleaning company forever and for them to even bring something to our attention lets us know how severely bad the condo was left. As far as the bar stools, we originally only bought 3, not 4. If you look at the bar area, 4 would be too many. It was not broken when this family checked into the condo. The owner of the cleaning company was the person to check and clean the day the renters arrived. She has written quite an extensive letter as to the damage this family has done. We realize this family does not feel we should keep the deposit. What they don’t realize, it would be a lot easier for us to send their deposit back than to hear their profanity and threats. We have rented our condo to an extensive number of people over the course of years and do not make it a habit of keeping anyone’s deposit, only 2 times in the 6 years we have owned and rented our condos have we had to keep deposits. If you would like to contact some of our MANY returning families, please contact us and I will be glad to provide you with references. This truly is our second home and it hurts when someone destroys it and does not have the respect to take care of our property, they need to rent somewhere else. As far as them not being able to contact me, is ridiculous. I do have a full time job and cannot always answer by phone or email immediately, but I did respond to them in a timely manner. Unfortunately when after hearing first hand from the cleaning company I made the decision to not reimburse the deposit. I am confused why this family would not have contacted me as soon as they entered the condo if there were so many issues. I would have thought if there was something broken or the cleaning company was not doing their job, they would have mentioned this as the wife stated she was OCD. Only when we told them the deposit was not being refunded did they threaten to put this on VRBO and get an attorney. We welcome them to consult an attorney and we would like to send the attorney a notorized letter from our cleaning company it will enlighten everyone involved.

Beautiful unit! It was just like the pictures and had a great view of the beach. Close to Pier Park with tons of amenities and good restaurants nearby. We are planning on staying here again next year!
