Welcome to our Maui Vista condo, unit 1104, ideally located on the ground floor of building 1 which has many advantages, including being closest to the beach. Our condo has a large lanai where we enjoy a relaxing drink and most meals, and also offers easy access to the pool in front and barbecue area/tennis courts at the rear.
The condo features a fully equipped kitchen, front loading washer/dryer and a newly renovated bathroom/ bedroom. It also has a new flat screen television, cd/dvd player, wireless Internet and free unlimited calls to Canada and the U.S.A.
We chose the Maui Vista, Building 1, due to its great location across the road from Charley Young / Kamaole 1 Beach and around the corner from Cove Park which is a popular stand upboard/surfing spot. We love to stroll along the beach from Kamaole 1 to Kamaole 111 (about 1 mile), each morning before breakfast on the lanai. Within easy walking distance of the Maui Vista both to the north and south are many restaurants,
coffee shops and retail stores.
The condo is bright and airy and has a through breeze from front to back when the windows are open which together with our new efficient ceiling fans eliminates the need for using the air conditioning unit.
Beach chairs, mats, beach towels, cooler and umbrella are available for guests to use.

Why the Owner Chose Maui VistaLocation is always important to us in our travels whether it be in a city or resort. We value the convenience of walking to beaches,stores and restaurants and not having to drive. Maui Vista Building 1 is near all the above and even has a bus stop steps away .Travelers who have been to Maui many times and have done the drive to Hana, volcano etc. can stay at the Maui Vista with minimal, or even no personal vehicle use.
The Unique Benefits at this CondoWalking along the beaches in the morning or at sunset is a favorite pastime . We occasionally walk to the beaches at Wailea for coffee and a stroll through the shops (about 3 miles one way). We cycle most days to a variety of places between North Kihei and Makena for beaches, fresh papaya and exercise.

We are from Alberta and have been visiting Maui since the 1990's. We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world (Jasper National Park) in the Canadian Rockies,where we operate a bed and breakfast (Raven House). We do however like to shorten our long winters by traveling to a warmer climate and after visiting various tropical destinations, we have found that Maui offers by far the best climate and beaches.

We had the opportunity to stay at this condo for 18 nights. We can honestly say we enjoyed our stay. The location is awesome, we could walk to everything that we needed. The unit is equipped with everything that you might need for your stay. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, cooler. There is no charge for calls to Canada and US and we took advantage of that and loved it. There is a new bed in the unit and it was very comfortable, lots of closet space and places to put things. The unit was nice and clean on our arrival. Loved sitting out on the lanai for morning coffee and breakfast, and evening cocktails. The unit is close to lots of restaurants and several beaches. We look forward to going back and enjoying another stay at this property ! Thank you to our wonderful hosts.

This is our first time to Maui and the start to many more vacations here! We moved in the night we landed and had a hard time moving out as it truely felt like home. The condo is well equiped and very comfortable. It is centrally located and close to everything... including the bike rental shop! The grounds are well looked after and the people quite friendly. Lots of things to do close by if you don't have a vehicle. The beach is a short 3 minute walk and great sunsets at the beach.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+.
This condo was so nice, we returned for again this year for a longer visit!!

This condo is beginning to feel like home!! Having had a wonderful visit for 10 days in 2010, it was a natural to come back again for 17 days in the fall of 2011 to trade the rainy days of Vancouver for the continuous sunshine of this wonderful Kihei home. The many new items the owners have put in place (beds, chesterfield, furniture, dishwasher, etc) make the condo feel like a brand new place. Of course, we spent most of the time on the wonderful beach across the street snorkelling with the fish, swimming lengths, and walking the super clean beaches south to Wailea or north to the paddleboard/surfing parks by the town. It was really neat to spot the sea turtles feeding by the shoreline in the early morning hours and greeting the many other friendly walkers/joggers with an enthusiastic 'Good Morning'. Of course, there are many other Canadians in the area, so pleasant beach conversations often lead to an evening get together to watch the usually spectacular sunset with a mai tai (and visiting together back here in Vancouver). We also enjoy bird watching for the many species to be seen here (warblers, finch, egrets, doves) and one can do that in the local parks or right from the outside table on the condo while you are reading a book (there is a great selection of books in the unit). Also, one can watch whales spout off right from the beach. Another great perk is the Red Box video rentals at the Foodland grocery store where you can get the latest for only $1.25. And so between books, videos, walks, close excellent restaurants, local explorations to the mountains or trails, we were kept pretty busy (in a retired sort of way). It was great to be able to phone home on the free phone or use wi fi to keep up on Canadian news. As well, it was fun to meet others at the BBQ pit, not far from the unit. We found we slept exceptionally well as the bedroom is quiet and at the back of the unit, with a wonderful slight breeze for fresh air. The whole condo complex is kept exceptionally clean, with gardeners, cleaners, and hosts to provide info for the tenants. Of course the owners, Tony and Mair, also were great, by making sure plans and any concerns were looked after. In summary, we have recommended this unit to our close friends were we live, and would suggest to those others that look at this condo website, that they would be very pleased and lucky if they choose this as their 'home away from home'. We certainly look forward to our third visit here!!

Wonderful First Family Vacation

My husband, twin toddlers and I spent the first ten days of October in this condo. It was our first overseas vacation with our nearly two year olds. We could not have had a better time! The condo truly was "ideally located". It was just steps away from a lovely (and very clean) pool and really close to the beach. We spent our mornings in the ocean and on the beach and the late afternoons in the pool. The condo was bright, modern, very clean and easy to keep cool. It was equipped with everything we needed so it did not take us long to feel at home in Hawaii. We used the condo's kitchen facilities and the complex's barbeque area. Both were great. We ate most of our meals on the condo's spacious lanai, which was really like an extra room. We had a few meals out, at wonderful restaurants that were within walking distance of the condo. Our favourite was Cafe O'Lei. We would strongly recommend this condo to others.

Tony & Myra , thank you so much for sharing your second home with us. It truly felt like home ... so much so that I'm (Marta) kinda bummed about going home. The condo is well appointed and instills a state of peace & joy. We spent a ton of time at the pool and Hanna went from non-swimmer to webbed toes girl.

We had a great 6 weeks in #1104, especially enjoyed the easy access out the lanai. The snorkelling at the "Dumps" is amazing , wished we'd found it earlier. Glad we could experience it.
