    What more can I say here that hasn't already been said? Probably not much, but I'll try! This is my third time at Whel-Appointed in 18 months (yes, I love the beach!). The house is amazing, and David and Michele are a dream to work with. The house is clean, quiet, perfectly laid out, and has all of the touches from home -- luxurious linens and towels, a well-equipped kitchen with all appliances, a/c (which I love when I sleep), beach towels/chairs, snorkeling gear, and so much more. It's truly paradise! I hope you choose to stay here and experience as much magic as we did.

    Wow! Did we have the best time in Eleuthera! The house was absolutely beautiful! So glad that we booked it! So much room to run around! All the appliances are modern and worked wonderfully! The catwalk (roof deck) was a great place to hang out while enjoying the beautiful daily sunsets and watch the stars. The patio in back on 1st floor was a great idea! We discovered that it was a great 'hot spot' to hang out, and to get warmed up when there was a bit more wind in front or for tanning! It was a tad windy while we were there - surf was having a 'wicked rage' (as some of the locals called it!), but it did not affect our stay at all! Beaches are as promised - usually empty, private and BEAUTIFUL! Never got tired of looking at those beautiful tourquoise blues! Took the the short path to beach across from house, and in minutes we were on the beach! Edgar (car rental guy) was just great, and gave us some important tips once we got there. Getting around the island was pretty easy and most of the time pretty empty! Tried to even get lost, and roads still dropped us out on familiar roads! Absolutely great. Honestly can't think of anything at the house that was missing. We had a few hiccups with the internet, but it did work better as the week progressed. We knew that internet service in the Bahamas is 'iffy' at times, so we didn't mind. The house is right down the street from the Beach House/Tapas Bar (walking distance) and the food was great! Tippy's is about a mile down the road, and also great food. Got to check out the Bakery in town - and when you go, remember to place your order for homemade pies in the morning to pick up later - YUM - definitely worth it! This house is in a perfect location - an hour or so drive going either South or North, and you can reach many destinations. Wallace was awesome and answered the few questions we had while we were there quickly. The locals were wonderful and very friendly. All in all - we just loved this place, and hope to go back soon. Seriously...if we had a few extra weeks of vacation each year, we would come back EVERY YEAR! So thank you for allowing us to rent your place! One of the best vacations we've had in a long time! We've already been recommending it to others!

    Whel appointed is a fabulous house in a little slice of Paradise called "Eleuthera". David and Michelle has made sure that everything you need is there, even snorkeling equipment. The people they work with for car rental and caretaker of the house are outstanding. The people of the island are so very friendly and helpful. We visited a couple of great restaurants' Tippy's and The Beach House. Would recommend this vacation to everyone. For a week away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. The Beach is lovely and not crowded.

    We stayed for 2 weeks of pure bliss. We had never been to the Carribean and I can now say we are spoiled for good! Owners David and Michelle provided a luxurious rental home I would call a mansion. The details in the stucture, the furniture, the extra's in the kitchen were all more than pictures could show. Their write ups were very helpful in knowing what to pack and what would be provided by the home owners. The home was very clean, neat and well maintained. The beds were extremly comfortable as we drifted off to sleep with the windows blowing in the cool evening breeze. The best part for me was in making our decision to rent from David. He was so accomadating with his quick responses to all my questions and concerns. He was very organized with Edgar and Wallace available to help out while on our trip. We ended up renting a car from Edgar who I must say was so friendly and helpful. As we arrived during xmas holidays and our flights were 4 hours late leaving us arriving in the dark, and too late to pick up our rental car, Edgar came the next morning picked us up and took us shopping!! What a wonderful man! The beach was totally fabulous. We walked everyday down the beach meeting other tourists who were friendly and with stories of places to visit. We rented a car and went up to the northern tip enjoying Harbour Island for the day. You must take the drive it is well worth it, the food the atmosphere, the people...love it!!! The local people were fantastic and always friendly. We went to the fish fry on Friday which David suggested we go and were not dissapointed as we danced in the streets and enjoyed local food and drink. We celebrated New Years Eve at The Beach House, only 3 doors down and danced the night away to a band, great food, drinks, people and even fireworks! Being from Canada and enjoying our holiday in the sun we couldn't have picked a more beautiful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed the patio, covered porches that wrap around the house giving every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. The only down side for us were the sand flea bites that began to come out on us the last few days we were there and then stayed ichy and awful for the next 3 weeks we were home. This is not to take away from our fantastic holiday...just watch sitting close to seaweed on the beach. David and Michelle you were so wonderful to work with and have as owners who were very tuned into their guests. I appreciate all you help and would love to visit again

    My parents arrived on December 15th for a week stay at the Whel-Appointed beach house. From the minute we stepped on to the property, we were amazed and taken aback by the beauty of this house. The two master suites on the first floor are huge, and contain what are quite possibly the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. The house manager Wallace does an superb job in maintaining the upkeep of this house. Think Tommy Bahama, and you'll get some idea of the decor you are walking into. The living area is upstairs has "real" furniture, not the typical wicker furniture you might expect to find in a beach house and the 360 degree views are breathtaking. Everything is labeled so you know exactly what fan you are turning on and which lights to turn off. The house provides beach chairs, towels, snorkel equipment etc. Everything you need for an enjoyable day at the beach which is literally a stone's throw across the "street". Great dining is a walk or short drive away. The Beach Bar serves up some delicious food, which is amazing given the size of the kitchen, and Tippy's up the road has some of the best conch fritters I've ever had the pleasure to eat. I can't say enough about the owners. They are beyond nice, and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I don't think there is anything that have been done to make our stay at the Whel-Appointed any better, and I hope to return soon! Thank you David and Michele for taking the time and putting in the work to creating such a beautiful vacation spot.

    We have rented many times through VRBO/Homeaway and let me tell you, what you see on the site is NOT always what you get. This house was what you saw and more! The pictures on the site for this house barely begin to explain just how wonderful it is. When we arrived we almost cried we were so happy. The location could not be better, privacy but 3min from Governours Harbour. The Beach House resturant is a short stroll away and Tippy's was a 5min drive. We felt like we were in a movie! The decks are so wonderful and large, we spent a good hour just walking around them marveling at the views. The view of the lake behind the house at the crack of dawn is one of the most amazing sights. We would go up to the third floor perch at night and be taken away at the amount of stars you could see, it was really stunning. I don't know how they thought of everything they had at the house, they must have had a very long checklist. There was snorkel gear, along with flippers in excellent condition. Chaise lounges with nice clean new cushions, deck furniture in all the right places. The inside of the home was spotless, and I'm a clean freak. I always notice dust and grime in a home and I would have been hard pressed to find a speck of dirt in this house. It just smelled fresh and new. The appliances were top noch, all push button. We just loved cooking in the kitchen and looking out to the lake on one side and the ocean on the other. The living room was spacious and well laid out with a nice flat screen that had satellite and hundreds of music stations. You had beautiful views from anywhere upstairs, lots of natural light. The bedroom was also large with a gigantic super comfortable bed, my husband misses it! Lots of storage for your clothes in drawers and a smaller walk in closet when you first enter the room. Bathroom was awesome. What a view from the shower! There was a heated towel rack and comfy towels to put on it. Throught out the house they have high celings that are beams of wood, beautiful. The high wood celings were even on the decks! We heard that some people did not have water on the island when we were there, no problem for this house. When the pressure got a little low we called Wallace and within 10min full pressure was restored. Friends we met went a day without! Finally, David and Michele were so very genuinely nice. Easy going and really there for us and our questions. Some of the other owners we dealt can be so rude! Thank You!!! Brooke and Mike Vnuk

    I've been to Eleuthera at least 10 times and this is without a doubt one of nicest rental properties on the island, if not the world! The value for this kind of luxury cannot be beat. There was so much thought and detail put into this house, that I wished it was my own home and that I could live there forever! From the super comfy beds (Tommy Bahama bedding), to the towel warming racks in the bathrooms, flat screen TV's in each room, and extremely well-stocked gourmet kitchen with wonderful appliances, this place was a dream come true. The location can't be beat. The house is located on the prettiest road in Eleuthera - Banks Road - and directly across from the stunning French Leave pink sand beach. The best part is that it is a VERY short walk to my favourite restaurant and hang-out spot - the Beach House restaurant. I'd head over there for lunch or a drink almost everyday - great food dining in or takeout and great live band on Thursday nights. The owners, David and Michele, were terrific to deal with...a true pleasure. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone with extremely high standards.     Whel-Appointed was home as soon as we stepped thru the foyer. Wanting for nothing. Going to the beach we were provided with chairs, umbrellas, coolers and towels. The verandas were well used, especially the lounge chairs off the bedrooms in the A M. We enjoyed the beach daily. What a grand time.     Not only is this home beautiful, clean, and conveniently located, but David provides outstanding communication and service. It was a pleasure to deal with him, and we knew we'd have no troubles with our home away from home in Eleuthera. A huge plus. Whel-Appointed lived up to all of our expectations. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything imaginable, and it's all quality. The house is conveniently located to enjoy all Eleuthera has to offer and if you don't want to venture out, the views from the wraparound balconies are wonderful in all directions and the beach is a shuffle-through-the-sand away Enjoy the peace and quiet. We hated to leave this beautiful house and fabulous, friendly Eleuthera. Would definitely return to Whel-Appointed! Thank you, David.

    David, Thank-you for letting us share your home for the week. The house was amazing! Even better than than the pictures on your website. There was never a time when we said, " They don't have this, or that." EVERYTHING we needed was there. The beach was just as we remembered it ... more crowded though, but that was okay. The best thing, was swimming with the two wild dolphins that came there every afternoon. Can't get better than that! We would love to come back again next year and stay at your home again.     My wife and a couple of great friends rented Whel-Appointed about a month ago and I can tell you it lives up to its billing. This is a first-class rental that is well represented in the description/pictures. It's across the street from a wonderful beach, with a shared path for access. David and Michele were great with follow-up and provided everything we needed for a perfect visit. I highly recommend this property.

    Can't say enough about the house and David and Michele's hospitality! The house is amazing, beach is amazing, its everything we needed in a vacation rental and the entire process was as smooth as could be. Only wish we could have stayed longer! We have already re-booked for next year and can't wait to return! Every detail in the house has been meticulously attended to by David and Michele, including many things we never would have thought of...the house can certainly be considered a luxury property and does not disappoint. Well decorated, immaculately cleaned and maintained, and has every amenity on-site that you could ask for. We'd also note that the island was a truly great place to get away and RELAX!!! Very safe and the people are very friendly! We loved waking up in the morning and walking down the street about 15 minutes to Bank's Road deli for freshly made bread...Lunch/Dinner we walked to The Beach House and Tippy's or cooked out ourselves. David will walk you through how to bring everything you might need...If you get tired of the beach and want a resort-style experience, Sky Beach Club is only a few minutes drive and offers a beautiful infinity pool which you can sit by all day long if you buy a few drinks/lunch...for a massage I would highly recommend Ms. Monique Smith, she knows the island and is a great resource and will come to the house...For car rental David suggested Edgar; he was very attentive and easy to work with---we only needed a car for a few days during our trip as there were several days we didn't venture very far from the beach... We are so glad we found this place and are certain we will continue to return year after year...Thanks David and Michele for everything!

    In June, my husband, daughter and I had the amazing experience of traveling with friends to Eleuthera and staying at Whel-Appointed. The pictures on this website do not do this home justice. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we could ever need and more. The kitchen was incredible and had anything you could ever want from the state of the art appliances to the filtered water system. The bed was so comfortable that I had the best sleep I've had in a very long time. We so enjoyed sitting on the decks in the morning with coffee and in the late afternoon after a day on the beach. The views of the ocean from the front of the house and the forest and pond from the back were beautiful. There were more than ample supplies for the beach such as snorkel gear, coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. It was so lovely to sit on the beach, with my favorite beverage, listening to the surf and relaxing. David and Michele have the house incredibly organized. Everything was clearly labeled and information about the appliances was easily accessible in the information portfolio at the home. We loved that binder of information. We even took it with us when we were out exploring the island. There are restaurant reviews/recommendations, lists of things to do, tips to get the most out of your stay in Eleuthera and what to do in case of emergency, which we found very helpful. Our daughter woke up one morning with a sore ear. I used the emergency info in the portfolio where there was a detailed list of clinics and doctors. We were able to get her seen by a doctor within 1 1/2 hours. The staff, nurse and doctor were pleasant and kind, the care was great! The island was purely paradise. The beach was beautiful, the water was crystal clear. There were two dolphins that came by almost every day. My husband was able to get within 5 feet of them - how amazing is that?! The islanders were so very friendly. When out on morning runs, we were greeted with smiles and waves hello. We went to two restaurants, Tippys and The Beach House. Both were amazing - the food was incredible, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere and views were spectacular! We can't thank David and Michele enough for opening their beautiful home to us. It was our home away from home in paradise. We can't wait to go back!

    We were lucky enough to travel with our friends to Eleuthera and stay in this wonderful house. As soon as we walked through the front door, we felt comfortable and at home. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need or want and the views from the balconies were beautiful! The bedrooms were big and the bed was so comfortable. (The shower pressure was awesome!) The beach was just like the pictures - beautiful! The water was warm and we even got to swim with a pair of dolphins that came around! The house had everything you needed for a fun day at the beach including chairs, umbrellas and snorkeling equipment which my son loved! (It was his first time ever trying to snorkel and he saw fish and coral on one of the reefs right off of the beach) We enjoyed cooking in at the house but also dined out a few nights. Tippys and The Beach House both had delicious food and great views. The lobster and conch fritters at The Beach House were the best!! Banks Road Deli and their fresh home made cheese bread was a huge hit with my husband. We also walked around the Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve right down the road and enjoyed the beautiful plants and wildlife. This will definately go down in the books as being one of the best vacations ever! Thanks to David and Michele for sharing their incredible home with us - we hope to return someday!

    Ok so it's scary to think of sending $2000 to a stranger. But let me tell you, David is the most honest,kind and informative person to work with. And EVERYTHING they tell you about this home is true. It's perfect for 2 couples! It's got everything...I mean down to the salt and pepper in the cabinets. The decor is beautiful and rich, they put the finest of appliances in this home and the flooring is great! We loved the location and even after we spent the night on Harbor Island which we fun, we couldn't wait to get back to our "home". Yes it will feel like your own home! We tv's were great, made us research them when we get home. And the BEDS were so Comfy, best sleep I've ever had, makes getting out of bed in the morning really hard(i mean really). Beach is beautiful and people were really very friendly. And everything down to extra bug spray was supplied. We are really looking to revisit Whel Appointed in the future.Can't beat it!!

    OK, so I have been meaning to write a review since the day we got back but have life took over which was unfortunate since I would have loved to have reminiced about our vacation for a while longer. This was the first time we had used Home Away despite spending an obnoxious amount of time looking at homes and vacations and it was better than I could have even imagined. David was so easy to work with and really relieved some anxiety in regards to travel and rental cars. Every insane question I had, he would answer. I am honestly amazed he had time to even do his actual job... The house was absolutely incredible and the price made it even better. The beds were comfortable, the furniture and TV's were top notch and the porches...We spent so much time just sitting outside taking it all in. I think that we were 2 days into the vacation, floating out in the ocean, trying to decide when we were going to come back. We went scuba diving a couple of days and had to drive to Harbor Island and passed alot of different beaches on the way and the beach at Club Med put them all to shame. We were a little concerned about not having a pool but it was honestly like a huge, calm pool. It was perfect. On a busy day, we counted 21 people on the beach and that incuded us and the neighbors we hung out with along with some fishermen coming and going. We felt very safe the entire time also. They thought of every single thing and made sure it was in the house, from bug spray to calamine lotion. We have some internet issues while we were there but there had been storms moving in and out and Wallace was available if we needed him. He came back to the house to try and figure out what the issue was. And honestly, who needs the internet in paradise? :) The car rental was easy and they were very easy to work with, telling us things to do and where to do. It was so incredibly difficult to leave. We have traveled to alot of islands and done the all-inclusive thing and after doing a vacation like this, we will never go back to All-inclusive. You miss out on so much. I am so thankful that they shared their home with us and cannot wait to return, hopefully dragging some friends with us!

    first, let me say that if you are worry about the weather down here-don't, this house is built like a fortess. the balcony and the railings on the top and bottom floors are made of concrete, the floors on the balcony are also made of concrete,NOT WOOD!. the sliding glass doors are solid and if you didn't know better you think they were made of bullet proof glass. my wife and I had a good time here, we were not looking for a high tempo high stress out tourists spot. what we found was a quiet little town with all the locals waving and smiling at us every time they saw us. the house is one minute walk to a 1/2 mile long beach with pink sand and there is a reef about 1/2 off the beach that makes for calm waves, great for small children and adult children,for sure one of the best beach in eleuthera!

The greatest challenge was blending this heavily fortified structure into a beautiful Caribbean facade that's fitting for its location. Our main concern was "Mother Nature";  being so close to the ocean, cat 5 hurricanes with flying debris were all major concerns. It was quite the task to achieve;  we credit our local home builder Wallace Sineus, owner of Whel's Construction Company for flawlessly achieving the task to the highest level.    We are pleased to know you guys enjoyed your visit and that you found the small town pace relaxing among the friendly people.  Our best, David & Michele

    My sister and I recently stayed at Whel-Appointed. Honestly, I don't even know where to begin in describing this amazing, stunning, and utterly comfortable island oasis. I had always stayed in hotels on vacation--there will be no more of that sillyness, as I'm now ridiculously and delightfully spoiled by David and Michele's Eleuthera haven. Whel-Appointed is justly named, as everything one could possibly need is available, from wonderful snorkeling gear to comfortable rocking chairs on the patios to slumber-inducing beds. The kitchen is dreamy, and even convinced me, a diehard "eat out" kind of person, that cooking could be enjoyable. (I'm still a little twitterpated from my visit, so please forgive if I ramble...:) The pink sand beach, a mere breath or two away, is hard to even take in upon first arrival. Pink sand and a liquid green glass sea boggle the mind! And the island...good heavens. Quiet, serene, deserted beaches, friendly residents, and a pervading sense of tranquility. I wept a bit when I left, determined to return soon to both lovely Eleuthera and Whel-Appointed. David and Michele, a million thank yous for your hospitality and elegant home!

    I'm a repeat offender! :) Stayed at Whel-Appointed for another 8 days this April/May (my last stay was November of 2011), and it was, again, a beautiful experience. David and Michele have thought of everything, and this island paradise is perfect in every way. We cooked most nights in the huge kitchen, spent our mornings sipping coffee and reading on one of the myriad decks, and our days exploring the different beaches on the island. The house itself was quiet, sparkling clean, and spacious. The beaches were perfect, and the amenities at the house (snorkeling equipment, air conditioning, washer/dryer, great beds and linens) made it feel like home. Bravo! [Oh, and I'm already planning another trip to Whel-Appointed in 2013. Can't wait!]

    My wife, daughter and I just returned from a one week stay at this fantastic property. The home is pristine and has everything (and more!) a family could possibly need during a beach vacation. The owners, David and Michele, were so easy to work with and very communicative - providing plenty of information and suggestions so that we felt welcome in their home even before arriving. The location is great, with a short stroll along a sandy path to one of the best beaches on the island, and one of the best we have seen anywhere (traveling all over Anguilla, TCI, Mexican Riviera, USVI). Governor's Harbour is a short 2-3 minute drive where you can find a few small grocery markets and restaurants (definitely try the meat pies from the bakery - delicious!). Eleuthera is a very welcoming and friendly island and we had a great time exploring from one end to the other, visiting many of the island's beaches and restaurants. Don't expect anything upscale or high-end as Eleuthera is not the place for that. But if you want to relax, explore the island's natural beauty, experience delicious local cuisine, and visit with truly friendly Bahamian people - it would be difficult to find a better location. We can't wait to return to Eleuthera and call Whel-Appointed our island home once again!

    My husband & I traveled to Governor's Harbor with another couple, and it was everything we hoped it would be! The locals were friendly, the restaurants were delicious (especially Tippys), the pink sand beaches were beautiful, and our rental house (Whel-Appointed) was absolutely wonderful. If you're looking for a week of complete relaxation in an absolutely beautiful setting, then Governor's Harbor would be a great option. Whel-Appointed is perfect for 2 couples because it has 2 master bedrooms. It has a two story wrap around porch overlooking the ocean, and it's in excellent condition. We grilled fresh fish that we purchased from the fishermen right off Club Med Beach in front of Whel-Appointed, and that was fun. Overall, it was a fantastic week and I am sure we'll put it on our list of places to re-visit!

    The Eleutheran moto is; Eleuthera;Not for everybody. Well this house debunks that saying. We had family members who alerted us to this "castle in the sand" as it was being built. Although the pictures were astonishing, the more than reasonable weekly rental price left us wondering how true these fascinating pictures really could be. Well, from the moment we drove up, we knew the pictures in fact did not do this place enough justice. After the first 10 minutes we were in the house, my wife turned to me and said, "I feel like I am a movie star". The care and thought that was put into this house was amazing. From kitchen utensils, to scuba masks, to towels, to DVDs and games for the kids the owners have thoughts of everything. From the main living space on the second floor you could easily see and hear the waves of the ocean across the street. A short jaunt down a walking path (if had to guess, maybe 150 steps) and we were on the most beautiful beach we had ever set foot on. My inlaws, who have been coming to Eleuthera for 10+ years said "the beach is busy today". I looked left and right and saw a total of about 10 people on a mile and a half stretch. AMAZING; is the one word I could use. Admittedly we did little exploration of the island because we had everything we wanted from the beach in front of our "palace" and the ability to prepare meals right in our fully equipped kitchen saved us money. As I said in the title we truly had such a great time in our week stay, we have booked two weeks next year. If the affordability scares you away from the breathtaking photos, think again because Whel-Appointed truly lived up to its online presentation. You will not go away disappointed.

    Honestly...This was one of the best vacations ever! Whel-Appointed was more spectacular in person than we could have ever imagined. The home is top quality...and everything you could possibly need is right at your fingertips! Forget to pack something, no worries! The view from the front balcony was spectacular. We spent every day having our morning coffee and evening cocktails sitting on the rockers taking in the breathtaking view of the Atlantic. And the best part was it was so close...just a short walk from the house. There were possibly 30 people on the entire beach on a crowded day. The pink sand beach and blue water was so inviting. Snorkeling was great there, too. We saw a barracuda, stingray, turtle, various fish...but best of all were the two dolphins on Christmas Day! They hung out with us for over an hour. Amazing! We enjoyed the Junkanoo Celebration, dinner at Tippy's and Pascal's (on the way to Lighthouse Beach). At Tippy's , Elliot and his band were so entertaining. Also, football at Ronnie's Sports Bar. Everyone was so friendly! The owners of the house, David and Michelle were very helpful, answering all of our questions and giving us helpful suggestions for restaurants, rental car, and shopping. They were very accessible:) We took a day trip to Lighthouse Beach (Southern Tip near Bannerman Town). The road to get there was a little rough...but was it ever worth it! It was like we had our own private beach for the entire day! Best of all, it was easy to relax...on the beach and at the house. It was a pleasure coming back after a swim or long day of sightseeing to such a beautiful home. I would highly recommend a stay at Whel-Appointed...forget 5 star accommodations...I give this one 10 stars!

    We are mature travellers and have rented in many places around this fascinating World. We had a wonderful stay. the house was immaculate, the rooms beautifully furnished, the kitchen splendidly appointed with everything for a gourmet cook! Wallace the builder/manager was helpful in checking all was fine. Yes we even managed all the modern electronics! We particularly appreciated the owners advice notes both before arrival and at the house together with help with car rental,restaurants etc. Yes you need a car but you won't use it all the time. The beach is quite beautiful with few people and a mile of soft sand The little Beach House restaurant a short walk away was good( the owner went to University near our home in the Pacific North West! In all a Lovely stay Thank you. Barbara and Howard

    You must stay here if you: love to be pampered; are picky (like I am) about cleanliness, nice sheets, great kitchen gadgets and the ability to cook in your rental home; love to hear the waves from your own, private balcony; and want to go somewhere remote but still want to have all of the comforts of home. Oh, and the beaches were amazing too! We just got home after nine magical, life-changing days at Whel Appointed. David's communication and help throughout the whole rental process was great - he was so communicative and easy, and he gave us great information about the house. Once we got to the house, we knew that it was even nicer than described in the listing - stunning! Everything was absolutely perfect - every detail: the candles that made our homemade meals more romantic, the kitchen outfitted with every gadget imaginable, the great TV and DVD player (with satellite TV!), the super-fast wireless, the many super-soft bamboo towels, the beach umbrella, the amazing (truly amazing) water pressure in the shower, the remote control air conditioners...I could go on and on. David has created a house worthy of much more description, but I'll stop there -- just know that, for us, it was perfect. We are already planning a two week trip back in March of 2013. Can't wait to come back to our slice of paradise.

    I've been coming to Eleuthera for 25 years and Whel-Appointed is a wonderful place to stay! When you speak with David, the owner, you can tell of the time, effort,resources and pride invested to make it the home it is. Solid, quality construction, tasteful decoration, high end appliances, excellent internet, beach equipment/access and great location make Whel-Appointed a MUST STAY home on the island. It was clean, well cared for and equipped as advertised promoting a very comfortable and inviting environment. We had a wonderful time in Eleuthera and Whel-Appointed was a huge part of it! I have already recommended Whel-Appointed to several of my friends. David, thank you for sharing your home!

    Whel-Appointed was gorgeous inside and out and equipped with everything we needed. It made our trip to Eleuthera that much more comfortable and relaxing. One of the best things about this property is its location. It is located steps from a beautiful beach and within a short distance to town and several great restaurants. Also, the house was the perfect location for us to be able to make trips to the northern and southern ends of the island. I HIGHLY recommend this property. The owners and caretaker were wonderful to work with.

    This place is "well appointed" high end; open and airy; extremely comfortable. Was the perfect location for our romantic getaway. Short walk to the beach and fine local restaurants, 5 minutes from town. Highly recommended; would stay again.

    Truly a memorable experience! This home has all the creature comforts and more. We especially enjoyed the wrap around decks and the roof top deck was fantastic for viewing the stars at night. Bed was super comfy and all was clean as a whistle. We'll be back again!
