Everything about this condo was spot on: listing description, clean, well-maintained, etc. The location was perfect with it's proximity to the ocean and boardwalk - literally steps away. Gloria was wonderful and super helpful. She met us upon our arrival and showed us everything we needed to know. I cannot recommend this place enough. If we ever come back to OC, I won't even think twice about where to stay. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. We had one of the greatest weekends ever.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! I had been here before with my daughter but this was my husband's first visit ...he was VERY pleasantly surprised and would love to return. It's very clean, very nice and the owner did a superb job of making us feel comfortable. The view of the ocean was better than the pics showed and we loved walking the boards and taking a short drive to Steve and Cookie's Restaurant in Margate. The CapeHouse offered a such relaxing weekend that I'm certain we'll return... hopefully this fall.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cape House. The location is ideal--on the Boardwalk with both a town and beach view from the balcony. The condo is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. The owner, Gloria, was always available to answer questions--both before our visit and during our stay. She is a gracious owner and works diligently to make her guests comfortable. One of our sons and his wife stayed one night on the Q pull-out in the LR. It worked for a night, but I would not recommend it for adults for a longer stay. It would be ok for children. Our other son and his wife and our granddaughter stayed next door at the Port 'O Call which made it convenient for them to join us for breakfast and lunch on most days. We loved sitting on the balcony and observing people on the Boardwalk and fishing pier. The convenience of the Boardwalk shops and restaurants can't be emphasized enough. The beach is guarded and clean and the entrance is immediately in front of the property. If you'd like to take a short drive, I'd recommend The Crab Trap in Sommers Point for excellent dining. I'd also recommend Medieval Fantasy Mini-Golf nearby on the Boardwalk for a hot day--most of the course is inside and cool. We took our granddaughter there and she loved the blacklit florescent rooms. I would recommend this property to anyone, but I almost hesitiate to do so, as I selfishly want first option on dates. We hope to return next year.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of the summer with our two older school aged children. The unit was immaculate and quite lovely. Kitchenette had everything we needed. Balcony overlooked the island and partial view of ocean. You could tell that the owners really care about their property. We all have allergies to molds/dust, and it was not an issue at this property, which is unusual for the shore. Though a little tight for a family of four, it is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway, or for a family of three. Steps from the beach. The heated pool was a bonus, especially since it had rained on two afternoons. The kids were able to swim in the rain. Gloria was there to greet us and check us out. She was very helpful with local information. Our security was returned when we checked out, after a brief inspection of the property. I would highly recommed this property.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

My college-aged son, daughter and myself just completed a week's stay at the Cape House owned by Gloria Votta, and it was absolutley AMAZING! The design of this condo is so unique, the home decor is absolutely beautiful, and the location is prime with a gorgeous view of the beach/ocean. Gloria maintains her condo beautifully, and it was absolutely spotless when we arrived. Gloria was also most helpful and courteous when I contacted her about renting her unit, and she greeted us personally upon arrival to show us the countless amenties of the Cape House. It was really difficult leaving this beautiful vacation home, and we will definitely be returning. Do not hesitate to make reservations here. . .You will NOT be disappointed!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The building is unlike any other on the island it is located on the boardwalk at 15th street iwhich is close enough to walk to everything yet far enough away from the noise and crowds. The beach access is right in front of the building. Guarded beach.
