Casa Patio Jardin is a 250 year old house (thick adobe walls and towering ceilings!) with four apartments around a central garden patio with sparkling fountain. Nestled in the back of the house, the one-bedroom Tule apartment is private, quiet, cozy, and offers an ideal refuge after a busy day of sightseeing or working in ever bustling Oaxaca. The one-bedroom Tule apartment is tastefully decorated, showcasing crafts and paintings by local artists.

The 570 sq.ft. Tule also has an additional nearly 200 sq.ft. semi-private patio adjoining the larger central garden patio. There is a private bathroom, the bedroom has a queen-sized bed, the kitchenette is furnished with refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, and a generous assortment of pots, pans, glasses, etc.

Included in the price are the usual utilities, hi-speed internet, sheets and towels, and a weekly cleaning.

Casa Patio Jardin is less than four blocks from the Zócalo, and within a five or ten minute walk to the great majority of churches, museums, galleries, shops, mercados, cafes, and restaurants of special interest to visitors. There is also a large grocery store a few minutes walk from the house, and the huge, sprawling Abastos Mercado is a twenty minute walk.

We are twenty minutes by taxi to the airport, and about the same or less to the long distance ADO bus station.

Living on-site managers are native English and Spanish speakers.

So if you have only a week or month or two in Oaxaca, consider the advantages of an apartment in a colonial era house in the heart of the historical district: old Mexico ambiance and excellent location close to nearly everything of prime interest!
