  We booked this lovely little house on short notice for Spring Break and were very pleased. It was a perfect low key, getaway. Kristi was extremely helpful with questions and very responsive. Everything was clean and cared for. We spent most of our time on the deck of the boathouse enjoying the lake. This cozy place is exactly what a lake house should be.

  Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

  Went down for a girls weekend and had a great time! House was very clean and had all of the space we needed. large yard for the kids to play and awesome dock (where we spent most of our time)

  The first thing I noticed about this great lake house was the view. You can see it from both bedrooms and the main living room and, when I saw it, I couldn't wait to get in the water. The house itself has a nice galley kitchen with an eating area at the far end. The kitchen is very clean and well-stocked with utensils, plates, and cookware, so making a nice dinner in is easy. The two bedrooms have adjacent baths and, as I mentioned, both have a great view of the lake. The kitchen, rooms, and bathrooms are spotless. The boat house has a huge deck on top, which is a perfect place to hang out during the day or in the evening. Below in the boat house, there are two lifts. One is for personal watercraft and the other is for a boat. If you bring your toys with you, you can put them in the lake close by and keep them on the lifts, which is very convenient. The lake is beautiful and the house is situated so you can appreciate that without ever having to leave. I recommend this place highly!

  I was unprepared for how clean and charming this residence is. The property shows pride of ownership and has been significantly updated and upgraded, particularly inside. Modern amenities combine nicely with a fun, camp-like vibe. Neat, galley kitchen with adjacent eating area make meal prep quick and easy, even for a group of five people. The main living area is quiet and comfortable for relaxing and chatting while others play board games or read in the family room area. Great views from both rooms. The two main bedrooms each have terrific lake views and each have an adjacent bath. The bunk room is fun for kids or adults who never quite grew up! Let's be honest; you'll be at (or on) the lake most of the day. This is why you rent a lake house, after all - and this is where this particular property shines. After a swim you can exit the water easily via underwater steps and there's a nice seating area that is partially covered if you want some shade. I'd recommend using the boathouse roof deck, particularly for breakfast (note: get up early and watch the sun rise over the glassy lake) or evening cocktails; wonderful view of the lake and stars from up there. Excellent place to decompress and forget the worries of the world. Fell in love with the Lake LBJ area on this trip and have plans to visit again (and stay in this property) in 2012.

  We rented the house for labor day week end two adults and five teenagers. We had a great time. The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The deck on the lake was awesome. We fished and swam, the location on Lake LBJ was perfect. My only disappointment was there was no TV reception I missed the LSU game! Thank you Kristi we would like to rent your place again.

  We rented this house for 2 months during the summer and had a wonderful time. The house is just the right size for our 5 member family. We really enjoyed being on the Colorado river where there is just enough traffic to enjoy watching people pass but not so much that you are nervous about the kids playing in the water. Also, the fishing off the dock was perfect for the children. One of my sons fished almost every morning and he caught something 90% of the time. We are already missing Kingsland Coffee. The local grocery store has a good selection and if there is something organic or all natural you need, Marble Falls is about 20 minutes away and their grocery store carries a bigger selection. In addition, Marble Falls has a natural health store with supplements, medicine, and food. There are a lot of local restaurants to try like Junction House and Bluebonnet Cafe. We really liked the location. We were 20 minutes from Marble Falls, Llano, and Burnet. We were an hour from Fredricksburg. We explored this beautiful, hilly area of Texas. Overall, we had a relaxing, fun time and would definitely stay here again! The owners have a clean home. The property manager and owner were easily reached and answered any questions we had. The photo posted is the view from the porch. The yard was nice size to throw a ball or play bocce ball. Since we rented the house for such a long time, we had to have a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and storage for all the personal belongings we brought with us. We were really pleased with the selection of items available for use in the house. There is a great library of books, games, and movies to use when you get tired of being in sun. The outdoor grill had plenty or propane for us to cook out. The rate for such a long stay was very reasonable. We would recommend this house to friends and family.
