Located on the sandy beach on Mutiny Bay, Whidbey Island, with its own offshore moorage, this breathtakingly beautiful home is in the tiny town of Freeland and ten minutes from the artist village of Langley with its many restaurants and antique shops. Whidbey Island itself is a destination vacation area in the Pacific Northwest, renowned for its natural beauty.

This brand-new, Non-Smoking, nature-inspired, architect-designed home has four bedrooms and three baths, including a tub for two in the master suite. It includes a king bed in the master suite, two queen beds in separate bedrooms, and four twins (two sets of bunkbeds), perfect for a family. It very comfortably sleeps ten. The open, gourmet, view kitchen is fully equipped and opens onto the deck which steps out to the beach. There is an additional deck off the upstairs master suite and an elegant private courtyard with landscaped gardens off the sweeping entryway. This warm and welcoming home-away-from-home is beautifully furnished with antiques and original art throughout. An impressive, hand-built, stone fireplace anchors the great room and breath-taking views abound in every room.

Mutiny Bay Beach House is graced by nature with Great Blue Heron, Bald Eagles, Otters, and even occasionally Orcas whales, and, of course, sweeping views of Mutiny Bay and the Olympic Mountains beyond. You will find excellent crabbing, clam digging, and fishing directly from the beach in front of the house. Situated on the most beautiful beach on Whidbey Island - you will fall in love with this lovely home and find yourself wanting to return year after year.

  • Just a quick note to say that we very much enjoyed your home this weekend. In fact, we were blown away by its setting, layout and amenities. My wife was completely surprised, along with old friends from the east coast, Portland and B.C. The kids fished for hours on end, catching, and releasing, a total of 27 fish. When we’re next in the need of a Whidbey getaway, we’ll gladly come back. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

  • beautiful, spacious serene setting less than 90 minutes (including ferry) from seattle. Tastefully designed and decorated 3000+ square foot home on waterfront with private beach. There is plenty of space and plenty of privacy for several families. The grounds and beach are ideal for children to stretch out and explore. The kitchen is spacious for cooking and entertaining. Listing does not do the home or location justice with golf, kayaking, boating, swimming, fishing and cycling within walking distance. A perfect home away from home for couple or family.

  • This is a gorgeous home complimented by the magnificent views of the Olympic Mountains, activities on Puget Sound, and the beautiful sunsets. Our children loved playing on the sandy beach, and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the deck. It's a great place to stay!! We highly recommend it!!
