My nicely decorated and fully furnished two bedroom cozy single story bungalow home is located in the heart of the historic midtown section of central Tulsa.


It is on a quiet single family mature tree lined residential neighborhood two blocks and a leisurely stroll around Tulsa University. This brick 1920's charmer is perfect for those who want a place to relax away from work, sightseeing or while visiting family, kids and grandchildren in the Tulsa area.

for travelers with pets, I have just constructed a 400 square foot twenty by twenty grassed open area completed secured by sturdy fencing located directly against the back of my home highly visible and easily accessable


For travelers who are physically challenged, my home is at all ground level, no stairs, no steps to all interior features. Vehicle parking is right next to and on an all concrete surface entrance, safe and lighted with easy ground floor access. All interior and exterior doors and entrances are 27'-32' wide.

For travelers with infants and small children, no need to drag along the furniture and pay the airlines! The house is equipped with a pak n play with sheets and blanket, booster seat with tray, a stroller and a child's car seat.

The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with a large screen HD television. The alternate bedroom with a single bed is suited for sleeping for a guest or children.

It is convenient to grocery stores, medical facilities, central major offices, parks, playgrounds, swimming pools, downtown shopping and sightseeing of Tulsa and a one block quiet morning walk on good sidewalks to the best little bakery in town!

There is quick access to major freeways leading in all directions to all parts of Tulsa and Oklahoma area. My house is less than 2 minutes by car on local streets to the Expo Events Center and 9 minutes by car to ONEOK Field, home of the Tulsa Drillers baseball games.

The renter must be over 30 years in age and occupy the property during the term of the stay.

Pick up a bag of groceries at the nearby store, bring your toothbrush, your clothes, put the baby down and relax!

                            My husband and I spent a week in Steve's delightful bungalow. The house was immaculate and very well stocked. We had a little glitch with the TV and Steve was there in a flash. I was attending an event at the Expo Center and the location could not have been more convenient--- less than a mile from the house so I could leave very early with the car and my husband could walk over later. Also convenient to shops and restaurants--a great neighborhood. Steve was a pleasure to deal with and our deposit was very prompt. A great experience-- would definitely stay here again-- highly recommended.

                            Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing.

                            Great little cottage....very clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable and homey. The owner was wonderful in making sure I was comfortable and all my needs were addressed. The owner was a great host in providing suggestions on things to do, etc. Great art and photos on the walls; wonderful selection of books. I strongly recommend this property.

                            Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

                            We stayed for one week, with our 17 month old daughter, at this pretty house. It was a wonderful stay for all of us. The owner even had some toys, a baby bed, a stroller and a car seat for us ready to use. We were very much appreciating that. In the close neighborhood are a lot of cats, dogs and chickens so our little one, had always some entertainment. The owner is very sweet and thinks of everything.

                            Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

                            We totally enjoyed spending our Thanksgiving holiday in your home. Fantastic neighborhood, quiet and quaint. Centrally located between all of my family members, shopping and restaurants. Good sidewalks for walking dogs. Everything worked out perfect, and we would definitely stay there again.

                            Husband and I had a good week visiting our daughter 's family who lived 5 minutes away, ate breakfast and lunches most days at Merritt's Bakery at the end of the street, enjoyed Steve's roses that were still blooming despite the cold and blustery weather that week. We slept so soundly the first night, we missed the earthquake completely! (no damage sustained - whew!) Steve's place is compact, full of interesting art, good books and plenty of surge protector strips for charging electronics! There's easy access from the driveway into the house...no steps, which was great for being handicapped, though the curved edges of the bathtub provided a challenge. Gracious host, personable and thoughtful. Bedrooms are a little tight on space but fine for those traveling light.

                            Recommended for: Age 55+.

                            This is an absolutely charming little house on a quiet leafy suburban street. The owner Steve has done a great job with making it into a cozy home - we particularly liked the landscaping in front which makes the front porch comfy and semi-private. There is also a spacious backyard. This is the owner's primary residence, so unlike most for-rent properties, it is fully decorated and even a little cluttered, but in a charming way that will make you feel like you are at home, rather than staying in a soulless hotel room. The location is also excellent, within a short drive to anything you might need - groceries, services, downtown, and the upscale Utica Square area for shopping & dining. Each night, we would walk our pooch a few short blocks to the University of Tulsa, which is really gorgeous. Finally, Steve was a pleasure to work with, and was very concerned that our stay was as perfect as possible. Would stay here again in a heartbeat - highly recommended!

                            Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

                          About the owner: The picture is taken at my Idaho lake home. I am a retired owner of garden centers and nurseries in the Pacific Northwest. I like to get away on sightseeing road trips and family visits in the region and the Midwest.

                          This is my primary home, not a rental. I take pride in the upkeep of my home. I bought it because of its historic features. I had the house painted and trimmed the exterior with shutters and window boxes, new quality windows, updated HVAC, complete interior re-painting, and off street parking.

                          The neighborhood is great. It is quiet with caring neighbors. It is very convenient to all of my day to day needs. It is a wonderful walking area in the neighborhood and with major Tulsa parks nearby. It is a short distance to museums and the architectural beauty of the oil barons estates of Tulsa. Within minutes is all the culture, dining and sightseeing of our city. Off street parking right to the door for two vehicles at any time even though the driveway is shared with the neighbor's vehicle. The Cherry Street dining and shopping area is minutes away as well as the upscale shopping and dining at Utica Square.
