  Our family enjoyed the long weekend . The cabin has every aminity you would need and the beds were very comfortable for a good nights sleep. The best part is the huge deck among the trees, quiet and secluded. Great for hanging out (reading, games, naps), barbeques, and evenings with a glass of wine from a local winery. A walk to the quaint town with it's small shops, homemade items, and places to get a quick bite to eat and relaxing at the lake while the kids swam were what we enjoyed when we ventured away from the cabin. We also enjoyed a fantastic meal in town at a 'fancy' restraunt one night as a splurg. Can't wait to get back again soon.

  This lovely home has an expansive deck where we enjoyed meals as well as reading and playing cards. The kitchen was spacious and very clean as was the rest of the house. The master bedroom had a spectacular view to wake up too. We also watched lightening strikes off in the distance one night! As in years past, Twain Harte Lake was the center of our activities with our grandson and granddaughter during their weekend visit. Miniature golf also provided entertainment for family members. El Jardin Restaurant gets our highest praise--the lemon chicken taco was delicious. The only downside is the considerable number of stairs to reach the house; but then, we are in our seventies. All in all, the private setting was a real plus.

  We really enjoyed staying at this cozy and peaceful cabin. Very clean, well maintained, and fully furnished with comfort. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck under the beautiful trees. It is a short walk into the very cute town of Twain Harte with nice shops, good restaurants, and nearby lake. I totally recommend this wonderful getaway during the winter or summer.

  I love this place. Catched up on reading and rest. Enjoyed Black Oak casino with large Bowling alleys and great food. Pinecrest is gorgeous and only 15 minutes away. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend! I will be back!

  What a beautiful place!!! Comfortable, relaxing and loved the dining close by. Looking forward to visiting soon! Cabin is walking distance to town. Quaint and charming.

  We were very satisfied with this property. We rented this cabin (really more of a home) for the purpose of having some get away time with our family. The town was delightful. The description and photo provided by the owner is accurate. Very clean, I have recommended to my friends. The night sky in Twain Harte is very dark which provided a beautiful view of the stars. We could easily see the milky way.
