The house is exactly as described, and the price is very reasonable. Debbie, the owner, is extremely solicitous and a pleasure to deal with. The house is large and comfortable. This house faces east on Isle la Motte, so there are beautiful sunrise views. The side deck and yard are great in the afternoon to enjoy a drink and a good book while the kids play. The beach is secluded. There are food markets and ice cream shops in close proximity, as well as the state park. For the runners out there, the road on which the house sits is awesome for a morning run along the shore. We took two families (6 kids) up last year and will be returning this summer.Owner response: Many of my guests over the years have been families of friends sharing the house together or three generational families enjoying a reunion. I've not had a guest who failed to love being on or in the water, including many budding young fishermen hauling in the perch or bass! The fishing is particularly good, and it is a perfect spot for canoeing or kayaking.

My husband, children, and I vacationed in this home for a week in July 2011 . The house is very private, with no other homes in sight. We have 4 children, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The home and yard are well kept, and Deb is very helpful and accomodating! We're returning for a week this summer, and are looking forward to it!Owner response: You were wonderful tenants, and I look forward to your return!
