  House was very nice and comfortable. Well equipped with all our needs. Street a little busy. Wished for another store besides Piggly Wiggly. Enjoyed the ocean and playing golf.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

It is one of the many unique features of Edisto Island, which lends itself to a quaint, tight knit beach community. We are happy you enjoyed the comforts of the house, as well as golf and the ocean.   High Seas is even better in person than it looks in the photos. Our family and friends really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home, and there was plenty of room for everyone(we had 10). As soon as we walked in the door it felt like home. Everything was provided that we could possibly need-linens, towels, dishes, etc. I especially loved waking up every morning to see the sunrise. Wish we could have had more time to stay and relax after our son's wedding at Toogoodoo Bluff Plantation. We highly recommend a stay at High Seas where you'll feel right at home.

  High Seas is probably the greatest house on Edisto Beach. It is warm and welcoming. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. It is tastefully decorated with warm and inviting decor. We wanted for nothing, everthing was provided. It was a great place to celebrate my birthday with family and friends.

  We vacationed at High Seas along with 2 other couples & their children. Had a wonderful time. Loved having linens & towels available & the kitchen was stocked really well. It was also very nice to have beach toys, chairs, etc, available. There was plenty of toys for all the children to play with. Beautiful house with a gorgeous view & really close beach access which was super nice with young children involved. Everything was nice & clean when we got there & in it's place. The gift bag was an extra special touch. Will def plan to stay here again if we go to Edisto.

  Our stay at High Seas was very relaxing with day trips to Charleston and Savannah broken up with days of golf at the Plantation (highly recommended), walking the beach and swimming. The house was clean and well kept with many nice touches for visitors. When not eating at the local restaurants we grilled fresh fish from one of the local markets and ate on the deck. We found most things just as shown in the posting with a few minor exceptions which were responded to quickly by the owners. The island itself is laid-back - not commercialized with gaudy putt-putt and t-shirt shops. This is a place to put your mellow on and enjoy the ocean and the sun. In all, a nice getaway location.

We appreciate our guests letting us know of these items so that we can repair or replace them in a timely manner. We strive for each of our guests to enjoy all of the amenities High Seas offers, although there are rare times when an appliance requires repair or something breaks.   We have just returned from a week at High Seas and I have to say that this was our 2nd stay in this beautiful home! Everything about it is perfect and no one could ask for anything better! I am the type of person who always expects everything to meet my standards....High Seas exceeds them! Not only is the home exceptional but the owners go above and beyond in order to make your stay there extremely comfortable and enjoyable! My family has stayed many places on the Island over the years but we will never stay anywhere but at High Seas ever again! Beautiful views, close enough to everything you can walk if you want, comfort in the home, walk across the street and you are on the beach....what more could you ask for! Be sure to get up early enough to watch the beautiful and brilliant red sunrise while you sip your morning coffee! If you eat breakfast, go into the FULLY equipped kitchen and cook it up, or, walk on down to the Sea Cow and let them cook it for you! What now you say.....change into your favorite bikini or trunks and head across the street to the beach and if you love the beach as much as I do that is where you will spend the rest of the day! It doesn't get any better than a stay at High Seas and I am always sad when it's time to leave! I HIGHLY reccomend everyone make High Seas their choice when visiting Edisto Island!

  My family visited Edisto Island this past August and greatly enjoyed ourselves. The house was in the perfect location! We enjoyed the beach, relaxing on the porches and eating in the fully stocked kitchen on a number of occasions. I would also say that the owners are very responsive and helped us with a few issues as soon as they were brought to their attention. I hope that our family can find its way back to Edisto in the near future and would highly recommend High Seas as the perfect place for a family vacation!

  Our family vacation to the High Seas was wonderful. The house is beautifully decorated, immaculate and well stocked with all the supplies you need for your stay. It was our first trip to Edisto and we could not have picked a more perfect house for our family, it is so convenient to the beach and all the shoppes and restaurants. Lisa has notebooks with any information you could possibly need regarding the island and surrounding areas. The High Seas is the picture perfect beach vacation home and we can't wait until next summer to return.

  I cannot find anything much to add to the other reviewers here, excpet to say "ditto". The house was clean with plenty of linens and had the best suppled kitchen rental we have ever encountered. We really appreciated the bikes, beach carts and other beach supplies. We had two families of four (8 total), plus daytime visitors from other houses. Always felt like we had tons of room and you can get away by yourself if you like. It was our first trip to Edisto and we hope to go back soon. It must be one of the least developed beaches on the east coast! If you are considering this house, go for it!

  Great decks and views which allow you to sneak away if you want peaceful time outside listening to the waves. Extremely well stocked kitchen with a nice open great room/kitchen area. No need to rent bikes as they are provided, which is a huge convenience and money saver. Great house location and beach area. Lots of new flat screen TVs and WiFi. Large grill and hammock to laze away any worries. All linens and towels also provided. Again, wonderful perk. No need to pack these things! We had a fantastic visit and absolutely no problems whatsoever. We hope to rent High Seas again some time! Perfect perfect perfect. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!
