Drop your worries by the highway and be prepared for an absolutely incredible getaway when you stay at Wild Turkey Chalet. The gorgeous views begin as you make your way to your mountain destination. We promise as soon as you arrive, you'll never want to leave! Located in the Tarheel community, Wild Turkey Chalet is conveniently located only 3 miles from town but you'd never know it!!

Step inside and you will find where Wild Turkey Chalet gets its name as the owners have tastefully decorated the home with - what else - the most tasteful Turkeys you've ever seen! Perfect for a friendly retreat this 2 bedroom, 2 bath home features a queen size bed in the main floor guest bedroom (which also has French door access to a covered porch), a large living area with sleeper sofa, fireplace, tv and lots of windows and doors to enjoy the view. There is a fully equipped kitchen and elegant dining area should you be able to tear yourself away from the stunning porch views and choose to cook! There is also a wrap around deck with numerous rockers for your enjoyment and a charcoal barbeque grill if you want to take in the mountain top atmosphere while having a cook-out! Back inside as you ascend the stairs (complete with pine-log railing) and you will find a wonderful sitting area adjacent to your private master suite that is complete with king size bed and private covered porch that has more rockers for you to enjoy. Make sure to schedule some time during your vacation to relax in the masterfully-tiled jacuzzi tub in your private master bath.

Murphy is a modern Mayberry, a combination of vacation wonderland and 1950's Americana with our historic downtown including a blue marble Court House, cafes, coffee shop, a stylish boutique, and great antique stores.

Antiquing is a favorite pastime of many of our visitors and you can find some great shops in downtown Murphy. Venture out a little farther and explore the hand-made crafts in Brasstown and the world-renowned John C. Campbell Folk School.

Do not forget, it is an easy one-half-hour drive to historic Blue Ridge, Georgia offering lots of antique shopping too! Murphy is located halfway between great, world-class, white-water rafting on the Ocoee and Nantahala Rivers.

This is a newer home and frankly, there isn't anything about Wild Turkey Chalet that you won't love - except having to leave!
