We spent four nights in this house in May 2013 during my son's graduation from the University of Florida. My family and I truly had an amazing time and this was the perfect location for the occasion. The house was very clean, well kept and furnished. The kitchen was well-equipped and there were plenty of towels, bed sheets and blankets available. Furthermore, the house is set in a very pleasant neighborhood. Communication with the owner was excellent and I have already recommended this house to friends!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The home was well cared for, very clean, which meant a lot to us. (No dirt in the corners.) Well located for us to shopping, restaurants and the university. It had easy access to all areas of town as well. Landscaping was newer also. It had good 'curb appeal' when first arriving and located in a quiet neighborhood. It was spacious for the age of the home, ample kitchen with updated appliances. It had a nice, private, rear fenced yard and trees. I would recommend to anyone. I am on the fence about telling you how much my family loves this property because I don't want to share my secret....but we have rented twice already (July 2012 and Dec 2012) and are booked again in July 2013. My daughters swim in meets at UF. This home is on a quiet street, corner lot. Very clean. Comfortable beds, updated bathrooms, flat screen TV....Cleanest laundry room I've ever seen which is a big plus when you have 3 tons of wet swim towels. The owner is always attentive and I like her. I love the no pets, no smoking rule because my family is allergic to both...I will always pick this rental as my first choice when staying in Gainesville.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The boys attended Basketball Camp at UF and the house is located a short driving distance from the campus and we were able to go and watch them play througout the day. The house was very clean and is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The back yard was big and very peaceful. The house had everything we needed. We hope to go back next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family and I had a fantastic experience and enjoyed our stay immensely. We used the home to celebrate my graduation which was a much more intimate setting then putting everyone in a hotel. The house was nicely decorated, perfectly clean, and charming. The house is located in a neighborhood only a short driving distance from campus. There is a big back yard and table on the patio which made for a great brunch setting. The house was fully equipped with towels, bed linens, blankets, and kitchenware. The house was very clean and open but had all of the furnishings we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms had good space to match the open area dining/living room. My daughter loved the fenced in back yard and enjoyed wandering around and checking everything out. The neighbors were a pleasant surprise with their warmth and willingness to say hi. Overall, a great location for our trip to Gainesville.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great house (very comfortable and clean) with an excellent location. The neighborhood is quiet, and there is plenty of parking for all guests. I would highly recommend this to any family or friends staying in Gainesville.Recommended for: Families with young children

We really enjoyed our weekend here!! The house was everything we expected and more...very clean and comfortable. It's in the Millhopper area, so everything was easily accessible. Janis was great to rent from...very helpful and friendly!! The next Gator game we attend, we will definitely stay here again!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

My wife and I and two other couples stayed in this house while traveling to the Florida vs. Alabama football game. The house was perfect. Very clean and very roomy. We fit 6 people with room to spare. Perfect location, in a quiet family oriented neighborhood very close to the campus and stadium. Big house and huge yard. Nicely decorated and comfortable furniture and beds. We will definitely stay here again. This is the perfect location when coming to town for football games and beats staying in an expensive hotel. Very fairly priced for the size, cleanliness, location, and amenities. This home and property is kept up very well, is clean, spacious, in a nice quiet neighborhood and convenient to shopping, YMCA, university, downtown, etc. The owner is very helpful and available to answer any questions. We were very comfortable staying here for a week in August and would recommend this property.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house was sparkling clean with beautiful original terrazzo floors. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the visit. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores are nearby, and the house is conveniently located a short drive from most Gainesville attractions. Try the grits at the Flying Biscuit Restaurant in the nearby shopping center! The owner was quite helpful and available for questions. We stayed for almost 2 weeks while visiting family. The house was so much nicer than staying in a hotel!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Happy to hear that you found the home to be very comfortable and convenient to everything in Gainesville. The nearby restaraunts such as the "Flying Biscuit" are known for delicious food, especially their grits and french toast for breakfast.. On your next visit, try the French Bakery "Uppercrust", it's just a few doors down serving the freshest baguettes and pastries in Gainesville. Frequent visits by locals, cause waiting lines on weekends. Arrive early...you'll enjoy the fresh food....

The location is wonderful - near Fresh Market and Uppercrust, and just 15 minutes from downtown (at "rush hour"). This corner lot is tucked into a quiet, shady neighborhood that is delightful for your morning walk. The house itself is deliciously open and spacious - holds a crowd comfortably. We love the terrazzo floors! The place is very nicely maintained - meets my picky standards. The kitchen actually has all the equipment you would need to make practically any meal. The owner has been extremely responsive to my questions, and is always ready to help if a problem should arise. We've stayed for a month on three occasions, and our dinner guests always rave over the place. A gorgeous house beautifully decorated with a great kitchen and space... has everything you need, from towels to pot and pans located in a great location less than 5 minutes from UF, in a charming neighborhood less than 2 minutes away from multiple restaurants and stores, easy access to anywhere in gainesville. Located in a very quite residential neighborhood. We stayed for the week while visiting our children for Easter. The property is in a nice quite neighborhood with lots of trees and a nice backyard. The house in nicely decorated and has plenty of space in the bedrooms and living areas, as well as a big kitchen with everything you need. The location is great it is close to Oaks Mall, as well as UF and Mill hopper shopping center with some restaurants and grocery stores. The owners have done a great job of taking care of the home and it shows. Would stay here again, when we are visiting the kids.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
