Perfect home to spend your vacation... Whether its spring, summer, fall, or winter, Bridgton has it all; boating, water skiing, tubing, swimming, hiking, ATVing, golfing, and biking, as well as downhill & cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and snow tubing.
Our House is large yet cozy and can sleep up to 14 comfortably and perfect for multi family vacations. As you enter the house, you enter the 1st floor mud room where you can shed your outdoor paraphernalia (shoes, jackets, etc). From the mud room you enter a great family room with big screen TV, DVD/VHS player w/lots of movies, Wii, computer/printer, and game table. Also, on the 1st floor is the laundry room, two bedrooms and a full bathroom. There are two sets of staircases that will bring you to the second floor which has a kitchen, dining room that easily accommodates 10+ people, living room, 4-seasoned porch w/fireplace and TV; two bedrooms and another full bathroom.
The house is located in Knights Hill Association located on Moose Pond in Bridgton, ME. The association offers many great amenities; a large sandy beach, swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts. Our house is a short distance from the pool, tennis and basketball court area and a 5 minute drive to the beach. Both areas have playgrounds for the children and clubhouses with bathrooms.
For winter vacation the house is centrally located amongst many winter activities. Shawnee Peak Ski Mountain is just over a mile from the house and is a great family friendly ski mountain with all kinds of skiing options and more than 40 trails and 5 lifts. Shawnee offers the most extensive night skiing in the Northeast and has one of the largest lit Park/Pike Combos in New England. There is also extensive Cross Country Skiing on Moose Pond and/or on the nearby trails. If skiing isn’t your thing, access to groomed snowmobile trails is located directly behind the house and many great snow tubing parks are all within a short drive. There is also Ice skating on Moose Pond or at the local rink in downtown Bridgton. Other great ski areas are approximately an hours’ drive: Shawnee Peak Ski Resort – 5 min; Cranmore Resort, NH(37 min); Brenten Woods Ski Area, NH (1hr 15min) Sunday River Ski Resort, ME(1hr); Sugarloaf Ski Resort, ME(2 hrs).
And if you are planning ahead for next year’s summer vacation, there are a lot of summer activities for all ages in Bridgton. While enjoying the private beach on Moose Pond where you can swim, canoe, kayak, boat, fish, water ski and tube. If lake swimming isn’t your thing, there is an Olympic size pool, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts for your use. Both the pool and beach areas are fully equipped with chairs, umbrella’s and picnic tables for your use while using the facilities. There are numerous golf courses close by, as well as, many antique shops in downtown Bridgton and if Bridgton doesn’t have what you’re looking for Naples or Fryeburg is a short drive and North Conway (NH) Outlets are only 20 minutes away.

our stay at our rental was amazing.... the home was impeccable and immaculate condition.... the owner was very helpful and easy to work with we had an amazing time skiing in having fun in local area.... I will definitely look to rent in again.. all the people in our party agree with this review....Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a great time, 9 of us just to get out if city, house was perfect. Big, clean, fully equipt. Great layout an outdoor space. Easy to get to from Boston. Great easy instructions from the owners. Perfect for anytime of yr visit. Perfectly priced. Can't say enough good things about it. Will def be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Our group is 8. 4 adult couples, we love traveling together near and far. One of our group stumbled upon this chalet while searching for a home to stay at near the Fryeburg Faire. This place is beautiful and everyone's dream home. It's kept clean, stocked and up to date. There is PLENTY of room. You can be together, and you can be alone. It's modern and beautiful and we are all so glad we found it. The Leek family was lovely to us, and we were so impressed with them and their home that we now want to book a full year ahead to be sure their place is also our place......once a year. Thank you for providing a high quality place to stay at a reasonable price. You just can't beat it.....please don't ever sell.....it is truly our home away from home! The Giacchetti's, The Nota's x 4 and the Valliere's...We're heading up again in a few days and can't wait!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was our second year, we had had so much fun the previous year all the kids wanted to return. The house is large and accommodating, well stocked and maintained with everything you could need. We enjoyed the rainy days watching movies and reading. The pool and tennis courts are an easy walk down the end of the street. And everything else you could want to do in the summer is nearby. Our favorites were renting boats in Naples, fishing, hiking and biking. Freeport and Portland make good day trips. We recommend the Leek Camp with great enthusiasm.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a Relaxing!! Week!! My family and I want to personally thank Rodney and Jane for a great stay. They trully go above and beyond as host, and we will definately be planning a return stay. The camp has everything that you need from pots, pans, spices, cutting boards, DVD's, Wii and games, bedding, Grill, Ice Maker, fishing by the lake, and much much more. My family had a great time just relaxing by the pool and lake, then at night time kicking back cooking some food having a few drinks in their beautiful cabin. Also we travelled to Old Orchard Beach which was only around and hour from the camp, was not a bad drive at all. We came there with no plans but to relax, and relax we did. thanks again Rodney and Jane!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
