The Lone Star is a beautiful private home at the base of the Tetons, tucked into an evergreen forest for true privacy. Guests enjoy views up the Teton Range, abundant wildlife, wildflowers, and serenity when staying at The Lone Star.
The home is comprised of three levels to maximize function and privacy. On the main level, the living room, which enjoys the afternoon sun, has a large, river-rock fireplace and sumptuous leather furniture for relaxing by the fire or enjoying your favorite movie.
The large kitchen was designed with the chef in mind. With ample counter space and every necessary appliance, guests can prepare gourmet meals in comfort. Two well-appointed bedrooms adjoin the living area, each with views into the surrounding forest. Completing the main level is a generous mud room with plenty of storage for both winter and summer equipment.
Upstairs, the master suite includes a separate seating area, a writing desk overlooking the living room, and a large bath with dual vanities and a walk-in shower. Guests can enjoy watching the stars twinkle above the Tetons while soaking in the hot tub, which is situated on an expansive deck accessed directly from the master suite. Steps lead from the deck to the patio below and spacious back yard.
The lower level houses a large bunkroom and entertainment area for adults or children who need to be close by, but would enjoy a bit of privacy from the rest of the house.
The Lone Star is just a short walk from all the amenities in the town of Wilson: restaurants, a bagel place, a grocery store, and even a bit of night life. Only a five minute walk from Fish Creek and the national forest and a ten minute drive from Teton Village or downtown Jackson, The Lone Star provides quiet privacy coupled with proximity to both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Additionally, golf, tennis, the Snake River, and horse riding facilities are only a five minute drive away.
