This is an amazing place. DO NOT HESITATE to spend some time here. Great views, unbelievable wildlife, remote, quiet, beautifully appointed house with all your needs met. No kidding. You will be planning your next visit within the first few hours. Thank you, K!

Owner response: Thank you Lisa! It is an undescribable experience to spend some time there. I understood what you told me, that on your last day there, you could find absolutley no reason to leave the property! Hope to see you and your friends same time, next year. Karla

Five of us stayed in the house. Really secluded, we saw deer as well as the three bald eagles that live on the property. We made trips to Forks/La Push, Port Townsend and Mt Walker. The Hood canal bridge and Poulsbo were both very accessible. The deck, kitchen, bbq and dining room table were great!

Sitting on the deck of Thorndyke Lodge feels as though you've been transported to some remote Alaskan wildlife refuge. The silence is deafening, the wildlife is everywhere, and the sense of peace is powerful. It's hard to believe that such a spectacular experience can be had so close to home.

We always have the best time up at Thorndyke Lodge and Green Point. We love all the decorating ideas and beautiful scenery. One highlight of the trip for me was definetely getting to go swimming in the Sound. Som things that we don't get to do in Seattle, make it up here. I am a huge fan of beautiful sunsets and getting to spend time with friends. All the stress of having all the busyness is all gone when we drive up the driveway to Thorndyke Lodge. The Bates family is always up here with us and that makes it so much fun. We love all the fun toys and driftwood. Thank you so much. Thorndyke ROCKS!
