Walk two easy blocks to the ocean and enjoy the company of friendly beach-goers of all ages. Or enjoy glorious Florida Sunsets on the Harbor Isles Boardwalk watching the manatees and River dolphins. Surf the South Streets with friendly locals, old and young.
Then return to this spacious 3BR, 2 Bath corner unit overlooking the fountain and lagoon and enjoy a refreshing libation . No "Boxy-Tower" here, you're on the second level of a town-home style three story unit, just high enough to have a nice view of the Indian River or the Space launches from our balcony.
Harbor Isles is located about a mile south of downtown Cocoa Beach with its many shops and restaurants, library and the great statue of our home town World Surfing Champion, Kelly Slater, ten-time holder of that title. The Surfside Playhouse is only a block north of Harbor Isles and features live theatrical productions.
Farther north of the Slater statue you'll find hotel row and Ron Jon's famous surf shop and its arch rival, the Cocoa Beach Surf Company. Continuing on we'll pass the Cocoa Beach Pier, home of the annual Easter Surf Fest and come to our sister city, Cape Canaveral and its port-of-call for numerous cruise ships, fishing boats and commercial vessels. From here it's only a short drive to the Space Center and launch facility.
It should be apparent that the beauty of our vacation home is that all the major activities of the Space Coast are accessable here, yet Harbor Isles remains quiet and relaxing and if you crave privacy, it is all here. Year Purchased: 2003
About the owner: I am a retired professional pilot and for many years we have been dividing our time between Cocoa Beach and Colorado Springs, where our children and grandchildren are located. Mitzi is retired as a Registered Nurse and is originally from Canada. Our family is nearly all grown and we wish to spend more time with them at this time in our lives, thus we choose to share our beloved home in Cocoa Beach for others to enjoy.
Why the Owner Chose Harbor Isles:
Cocoa Beach is the icon of Old Time Florida Beach Towns, the home of East Coast Surfing, and the center of the United States Space Program. We traveled here in our youth and vowed to return someday. When it came time to buy, it was evident that Harbor Isles had the most amenities, was the best value and was the best managed complex in Cocoa Beach.

Harbor Isles is a very quiet property and we find it extremely relaxing to stay here, The beach and Atlantic Ocean are within walking distance with fewer crowds than more popular spots in town. The South Streets surfing areas are very friendly and mellow. Mitzi loves to walk along our Harbor Isles boardwalk on the Indian River and to sit on our balcony and watch the lighted fountain in our lagoon.
