The communications prior to our arrival were excellent, very clear and prompt. Erica met us at the Arsenal stop and she was excellent - even gave us her cell number in case we had any questions. The apartment was perfect - spacious, clean, quiet, excellent internet and cable TV - and a great location! We loved the neighborhood. We cooked several meals in the large, well equipped kitchen. Our next trip to Venice will be scheduled around the availability of this apartment, we would not stay anywhere else!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The apartment was in a great location: a short walk to the touristy areas, but in its own interesting neighborhood that felt like the "real" Venice. The place was clean and just big enough for two adults and two full-grown teens. Fair warning: it is up 3 flights of stairs. Nice restaurants close by: Corte Sconta was expensive but worth it. The place at the corner (begins with an "N") was inexpensive, delicious and friendly - and open on Christmas day.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed at this apartment for 5 nights in Oct. 2012. We were met at the Arsenale Alilaguna stop by Camilla. She took us and showed us the apartment, then left us to settle in and enjoy the apartment and Venice. The apartment is about 5 minute walk from the Arsenale stop and about a 10 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. The is a small bakery right by the apartment where we got pastries every morning for breakfast. We would then either sit in a small square or sit down by the water and have breakfast. The apartment is exactly as described and is in a great location. My only complaint is that the washing machine is located in an awkward place. The washing machine is located in a closet in the bathroom and is is about 4 feet off the ground. You have to use a step stool to put the clothes in the washer and to operate the dials. But it was great having the washer right there to do laundry and not have to find the laundromat. I wanted to see Venice not a Venice laundromat : ) We loved this apartment and would stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Venice. It is so nice to have your very own apartment to come home to after a busy day of seeing the sites. Judit was wonderful to work with during the process and though she was not in Venice when we arrived she arrainged for a lovely lady named Camilla to meet us at the water bus stop to escort us to the apartment. Camilla was an amazing help, she made great suggestions for sites to see and how to get to the places we wanted to go to by giving us a map, which was very helpful. She suggested that we order the Venician drink at a local cafe called a Spritz, which was a delight. There were many Venice resources made available to us at the apartment and we utilized all of the materials. My only complaint, which can be easily addressed is that the bed was VERY uncomfortable. It was extremely hard and we had to pile pillows underneath us in order to sleep semi comfortably the next 2 nights. Everything else was perfect! It's in a great location, with markets and a reasturant very close, it is close to a water taxi station and is only a 10 minute walk from St. Marks Square. We had a wonderful experience! Many Thanks to Judit and Camilla!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights. Our priority was to be very close to main attractions but in local neighborhood with fewer tourists. This was perfect. Apartment is clean and only few steps from boat stop, easy to get from airport. Very good communication with management.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed in this apartment during July. The apartment is lovely and, thank goodness, air conditioned. In our view it was a perfect location. At the edge of a quiet residential area, and yet just a short walk to all of the hustle and bustle of the various tourist destinations such as San Marco and Rialto. Everything is walkable. There is a supermarket that is just a few blocks away-although rather hard to find without good directions. The apartment was spotless, and perfect for our family of two adults and a teen age daughter. You could not go wrong staying here.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family of 3 stayed here in June and had a fantastic time … we loved Venice and we loved the apartment. The apartment is excellently located, near enough to the sites to make visiting everything easy, but far enough from the tourist crowds. The Castello area (near Arsenale) is really a great neighbourhood with a real authentic feel and the boat trip to the Lido and walking to the public parks from here was easy which all added to our enjoyment of our stay in Venice. The apartment had a very complete kitchen (except for a microwave) and also had a washing machine (it was small though so you have to wash often and drying the clothes outside above the nearby restaurant is an experience!). We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Venice. Owner met us off the water taxi and it was just a 10-15 min walk to the apartment, she was very helpful, gave us lots of info. All great, would recommend this to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We loved this place. Location was great, accommodations were wonderful and it had A/C, which was very important in June in Venezia! We had a family of 4 (with adult children), and we all fit fine. Enjoy!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The owner met us at the public boat dock and walked us to apartment. It is very easy to get lost on the side streets of Venice! The apartment was a 10-15 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. There are many restaurants nearby, small grocery store and bakery. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Use public boat to get from train station to meet owner at Arsanal Bridge. It is just like taking a bus except on water! Get a pass for however long you'll be in Venice.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.
