ON THE WATER! The waters of the Hawaiian Islands' largest bay, Kaneohe Bay, come into the back yard. The Ko'olau Mountain range, where Jurassic Park was filmed, forms a backdrop for the bay. A full 180-degree view of the mountains and water is enjoyed from the lanai, the living room and the master bedroom. Enjoy an early morning sunrise and some spectacular sunsets over the mountains. The photos you see were taken from the lanai and the back yard.

The Red Ginger has 1500 sq. ft. of interior space with 2 bedrooms (2 queens, 2 doubles, 1 queen sofa sleeper, 1 crib) 2 full baths, kitchen, living room/dining area and a 5 foot by 30 foot lanai with BBQ grill, table and chairs. All tile floors, area rugs and the best furniture in the house make this a light, airy, tropical living space. A large, tropically landscaped back yard completes the view from the Red Ginger.
BEACHES

KAILUA BEACH, a 3 mile long, white sand beach on Oahu's east coast, is just a 7 minute drive from the Red Ginger. Rated as the best beach in the country, this beach is safe for swimmers of all ages. Enjoy an early morning stroll to watch the sunrise or an evening stroll to see the full moon rise over the horizon. Also, a great beach for boogie boarding, kayaking, kite surfing, wind surfing and paddle boarding. We provide the boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and toys.
KAYAKING

Launch the two 2-person kayaks from the back yard of the house. Kayak out to Coconut Island where the t.v. show, Gilligan's Island was filmed. Around the shoreline of Kaneohe Bay, going out for about 50 feet, the water is only knee to waist deep. On calm days it is easy to see the bay's seabed, the corals, the fish and various other marine life. You may also swim, snorkel and fish in the bay.

Awaken to the cooing of doves and the rustle of the wind in the coconut palms and bamboo grove. Relax on the lanai and enjoy the serenity of paradise on the water. The Red Ginger's location near 3 major "highways" makes the airport, Pearl Harbor, Honolulu and Waikiki just a 20-25 minute drive. While it is easy for you to reach all parts of the island, you will always be glad to "come home" to the serenity that nature provides.
