This is a charming and original house built over 100 years ago, renovated maintaining the integrety of it's simple lines. A long dirt road takes you to the house with a porch overlooking a large lawn and the Baltic River. Surrounding the area are fields providing privacy. The house is furnished with Island antiques. On the first floor there is a fully equiped kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and a bath with shower. The bedroom can be either a king bed or two twins.

Upstairs are three bedrooms and a large bathroom with seperate shower and an old iron claw footed tub looking out at the River. Beautiful views from every window. Bring your paints, your drawing tablet, your journal, your yoga mat or just sit and contemplate the hawks, herons and occassional red fox. Give yourself that simple time you have been longing for.

The river is a perfect place to kayak or canoe and is accessable at the end of the drive. Adventure out and visit the many museums like Anne Of Green Gable Museum and The Lucy Maud Montgomery House in nearby Cavendish, The Acadian Museum is where you can discover the facinating odyssey of the Island Acadians and listen to their wonderful music and stories. Out door concerts under the tent at the College of Piping provide you with excellent Celtic proformance arts. Ceilidhs and fidding concerts will have your feet tapping and your heart happy.

The Indian River Festival, a few miles away, offers a fine music series with world class musicians. Musical theater and comedy can be seen at the Charlottetown Festival at the Confederation Center of Arts. Antique shops, flea markets and other local places of interest abound.
