Needs much attention!
We have stayed many times in Beaches of South Walton area and have always enjoyed it very much. Redfish Village has been on our list of condos to stay. So, with great anticipation, I chose this listing for our Fall Break vacation. The 2 reviews were good, so I had no worries - but to my surprise, the condo was not at all what I expected. Upon entering, we discovered that the inside door handle was dangling (reported it immediately, it was Wednesday before it was repaired). There was, what we were told, frog poop all over the balcony, reported this to the owner as well, it was Tuesday before this was cleaned. These are other things that need attention: many light bulbs are out, more coat hangers, garbage disposal does not work, microwave light does not work, no vaccum cleaner, mattress are horrible, very few towels/washclothes and they are worn out, rug are nasty, ceiling fans are caked with dust, balcony furniture is nasty. It is very unfortunate that this could be such a nice condo, but has been sadly neglected. I will say that the developement of Redfish Village is very nice. The pool, beach access area and location make it worth returning but definitely in a different condo!

Great place for great vacation!
This condo is really nice and the apartment itself is great! It's clean and modern and has nice furnitures and comfortable beds. The location is fantastic! Just a block away from the stunning beach (all empty mid feb), minutes away from the cute villages Seaside/Watercolor/Grayton AND very close to the lovely fish fresh market "goat feathers", the natural organic store with amazing fresh lettuce etc. and the cute bakery "La Loba's" (they make everything from scratch and everything is delicious!). The Condo also has two heated pools and a gated playground that was really great for our 3 children (5/3/1). The apartment didn't have anything like salt/pepper/cooking oils/dishwashing liquid/laundry detergent/ kitchen towel etc. so we had to get all that there (which was different from all other vrbo properties that we have rented), so keep that in mind when you are packing. I sent several emails to the owners that never were answered, but they did send all information that we needed the night before we went there and everything worked just like indicated on the information sheet. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the apartment and would highly recommend it!

Great Family Getaway
Our family enjoyed a great week at Blue Mountain Beach thanks to this great condo. The listing was accurately described on the website but was more than we expected when we arrived. The photos certainly reflect the appearance but it was much more beautiful when we saw it in person. The condo was very clean and very comfortable...not too stuffy. The owners were VERY helpful and even called us while they were out of the country to answer a couple of questions. Our girls loved riding the shuttle to the beach. We met several sweet families at the pool but always felt like we had our own private getaway. We ate most of our meals in the condo because it was just easier with 4 kids but we did eat once at the The Smiling Fish Cafe just a few miles west and we had ice cream across the street. We also had donuts three times from the Donut Hole...red velvet donuts were addicting! We have already told several friends about this wonderful place! We can not wait to go back ourselves!
