We had a wonderful relaxing 5 nights at Camp Aloha. The outdoor kitchen was just great to make a meal or just seat and take in the wonderful view and tropical location. Enjoyed a day trip to South Point and spent time in nearby Kona. The Coffee Shack cafe was a great place to stop and enjoy both the coffee and wonderful desserts.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1999
About the owner: Joan and Casey grew up near Seattle and lived there for some 55 years. The visits to Hawaii just kept getting longer and longer until we just moved here in 1999. Life can be good in Hawaii. The farm has enough space that our favorite dog can be free of a kennel. Hiking and Mah Jongg have become Joans main focus and I am closely anchored to the farm.
Why the Owner Chose Honaunau:
Our family had traveled most of Hawaii and found the last five visits were to this very area. Honaunau has a wonderful balance of sunshine and rain to sustain a beautiful tropical landscape relying very little on irrigation. It is one of the centers for small family farms in Hawaii.
The Unique Benefits at this Bed And Breakfast:
Camp Aloha is quiet and private. We only have one set of visitors at a time.
