  My husband and I stayed in this beautiful home while trying to find a home in LF. We planned on relocating to the area and this was the best way to find out if we would like it. It was a very positive experience. The home is perfect and had everything we needed. We sailed over to the clubhouse and went swimming and used the tennis courts. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a vacation home. Marie (prop.mgr.) was excellent and helped us with so many requests.   We stayed at another property at the Keys last year. We liked it so much that we went back this summer and got this one just by chance and OMG!. It far exceeds our expectations. The photos do not do its justice. The place is spacious, luxurious and beautiful and have enough rooms for 6 adults, three kids,10, 5 and 3. Both adults and children enjoyed boating and fishing a lot. Well maintained and very clean. Not far from Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and Disneyland. It is just a gorgeous place inside and outside. I want to go back again and again.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

  I wanted to write a quick note and share with all the great experience we had when renting a home from HomeAway.com. The Property we rented in Lake Forest CA was perfect for our needs. It meet all our expectations and in fact exceeded them. The agent (Marie) who handle our rental was unbelievably helpful, extremely courteous and make sure every detail was attended to. We plan on renting the same house again next year. Thanks for everything.......................

  My family and I stayed at this vacation rental a few months ago. We found it to be clean, comfortable and classy. The owners thought of everything to make our time there perfect. This is how to get it right ! The photos do not show how beautiful the property is. The home is light and open with view of lake in every room. My kids loved going out on the electric boat, and we love having a relaxing time with food and a glass of wine watching the sun set. High probability that we will return ! (Thank you so much Marie for helping us with all of our questions, and for providing us with a lovely welcoming fruit and cheese tray !

  This is one of the best homes that we have stayed in (we only use vacation rentals, not hotels). We loved staying at this home. Even our two teenage boys loved the privacy, the flat screens in their bedrooms, the Xbox on the large screen TV, and the ability to ride in the boat to play basketball and swim at the club house! Our 6' 11" son enjoyed the very large shower...and our younger son used the jacuzzi bath tub every night. Marie was there to greet us upon arrival. She is outstanding! She was knowledgeable about the home and area in general. She was personable, and did all she could to accommodate the four of us. Marie gave us our space but she was always there when we needed her. The home was clean and well appointed and the interior decorations are fresh and new looking, very elegant, yet comfortable. We enjoyed BQ'ing and dining outside with the electric heater, flat screen TV, and fire-pit. It was fun to cook in the well-stocked kitchen. We were able to get work done on the high speed Internet connection, and take naps on the comfortable garden furniture between meetings. The location is very quiet and makes you feel as if you are far away from it all...yet everything is close by (stores, restaurants, beaches and major freeways). Try "Lucilles" for a great southern BQ meal. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you Dave, Dixie and Marie

  My husband and I spent the weekend here for our anniversary, and found it to be wonderful. The owners thought of everything. It was clean, and comfortable. The location on the lake was relaxing and beautiful. We took a picnic lunch in the boat and cruised around the lake. Loved it. We will be back !

  We stayed at this property with 3 couples and kids for the weekend. The property was very clean, and had all the amenitites we needed for a relaxing weekend. The kitchen was large and it was easy to cook meals, their were plenty of utensils and dishes to use. The outdoor patio also had a table with a firepit on it and heat lamps. There was an electric boat to use that was fun to take the kids out on, it took about half an hour to cruise the entire lake. There is also a clubhouse with a park, pool and jacuzzi that you can take the boat to as well. The owner was very hospitable and had plenty of paper towels, etc for us and also left us a fruit basket and wine. We had a great trip! The only thing I would recommend is that if you have kids or a baby that need to sleep at night, it could be difficult because the sound carries in the hallway where the bedrooms are and it could be difficult for a baby to sleep through the night. We ended up moving the baby into the loft in the master bedroom the second night.
