Overall the house was very nice and we were comfortable there. There were a few glitches: The grill didn't work, and the master toilet leaked in the back. We were really looking forward to using the grill so that was a big disappointment. The use of the pool and access to Best Friends, where we volunteered, was great. The community is beautiful and scenery breathtaking!

We had a great time visiting the absolutely amazing scenery in Utah. Special highlight being Zion National Park, The house was good for our needs with plenty of space to chill out, there is however lots of the owners possessions in the house including a pick up in the garage. We only had a few things to point out on the slightly negative side, firstly the house was very dusty on arrival and we felt we needed to give it a clean, The back garden was soaked with water the entire time of our visit, the water sprinkler system comes on every day at 0700hrs and leaves the grass unusable for children. Most nights when watching the TV a message would flash up as the owners had set up the DVR to record programs, unfortunately we did not share their choice of viewing, Lastly the property needs to have a kettle, especially for us Brits, we do like a cup of tea. Now that said we had a wonderful time, the hot tub is excellent, the pool almost felt like part of the house as there was never anyone else there. We can recommend the Rocking V Cafe in town, which is much more than a cafe and the owner Victor is great, the Cowboy Butte Grill in Fredonia is also excellent. Utah was not our normal holiday destination but on the whole we had a great stay. The Beakhouse family Cambridgeshire, UK

The house was great and the kids loved having access to the pool and weight room. This was the ideal spot for our base camp to Zion, Bryce and the North Rim and we really appreciated being able to "come home" each day. On top of all of that, the spa in the back yard was fantastic and offered us the perfect way to relax under the stars after a day of hiking.

We stayed for one week, had a great time, I loved the town and the location of the home, its veiw, and proximity to the club house I was dissapointed that the hot tub was out of order, and I hate to critisize anyones housekeeping skills , but it wasn't quite as clean as I expected it to be. I have two boys age 2 and 7 and they loved it, the house is very kid friendly stocked with everything from kid spoons to band aids, daiper rash cream and toys and kid movies.

Our group had a wonderful stay while in Kanab for the solar eclipse! 8 adults and a couple of dogs took full advantage of the beautiful location of the Lone Ranger Hideaway. The house was spotless upon arrival and had extra of everything from towels, silverware, pillows and glasses, to outdoor chairs, BBQ and unlimited stunning views!!! We all had a great time! Thank you!

For our spring break/Easter weekend getaway, the Lone Ranger Hideaway could not be beat. We were traveling with 3 adults, 7 kids (ages 8-4) and our dog, Tango. The proximity to the playground and pool was ideal for the children. They also very much enjoyed the foosball table. The children loved watching the lizards climb over and under rocks and along the wall. One even got into the house, but we were able to catch it and release it back outside. :) The kids would have loved the Nintendos, but we declared it a "no screens" weekend. We slept all 7 of them in the master suite which easily held the provided Aerobed and the 2 sleeping bags we brought along. My wife and I enjoyed the morning views of the red rock cliffs from our bed on the north side, while my sister-in-law slept in the murphy bed. The house provided the perfect space for many craft projects. We colored Easter eggs on the front lawn. The Easter Bunny found many hiding places both inside and out. Some of the local wildlife enjoyed finding the "real" eggs in the backyard, as my daughter saw a crow carry off a blue egg and several others had been pecked at overnight. The kitchen couldn't be beat. We have never stayed in a rental with such a well-equipped kitchen. And having the table that extended to seat all 10 of us was wonderful. The one drawback were the toilets that were incredibly difficult to flush. Everytime we flushed them we were sure we were going to break the handle. We talked of how much fun it would be to make this an annual trip, but are pretty sure the Chamberlains will return from Finland before we can make it back down. Beautiful scenery, friendly "townspeople" and comfortable accommodations made for a great weekend. Thanks.

We stayed at the Lone Ranger Hideaway during our spring break with our two families (total of 10 people). The home was a wonderful place to come home and relax after long days of playing in the hills around Kanab and on the Grand Staircase. There was plenty of space for us to spread the 6 children out to sleep between couches, the Murphy bed, and floors. The master suite and the guest bedroom were both spacious and comfortable. The kids loved having access to the pools at the clubhouse during the evenings, as well as the tether-ball and croquet sets at the house. The home was clean and cared for, and it was in an excellent location. It was beautiful to see the sun come up and hit the cliffs above the home each morning. The only down side was that some of the kids wanted to sleep in tents outside and found out the hard way that the sprinklers came on during the night (LOL). We couldn't find anywhere to shut them off, so that plan had to be abandoned, but it was no problem to bring them inside - there was plenty of room!

Our group rented this home back in March for a first time visit to Kanab. The home was perfect for our needs: all living space was on ground floor and all the conveniences of home were available to us. The location was great: close to town for errands and a fantastic indoor pool (part of development's recreation facilities) was right next door. Homeowners were fantastic to work with. Neighborhood is well-maintained & very quiet.

The house and surrounding area is beautiful! There was plenty of room for 7 of us to enjoy the gorgeous views from the backyard, watch SEC football in the huge den, sleep comfortably and cook a huge Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. The backyard is fantastic with a nice hot tub and a small fire pit. The view from the hot tub is awesome. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with lots of people out walking - very pet friendly too. If you have small kids (we did not), this place is perfect b/c there are many games, toys and a playground right outside the backyard gate. Prior to our arrival the owners were very helpful in answering questions I had about the home and the area. She gave us a list of area restaurants and some info about what the house was stocked with for our use. The nearby activities are endless. We spent a day at Zion National Park which is only an hour drive from the house. We also walked into town several times and enjoyed the coffee shop, Hollywood Set Museum and the local restaurants. I would definitely recommend the Lone Ranger Hideaway. We're even considering doing it all over again next year if the house is still available! Very nice property and owners. A+++

When we arrived at the Lone Ranger Hideaway, the HOA meeting had just adjourned at the nearby clubhouse and what looked like a lynching party came our way. Instead of lynching us they presented us with keys to the club and pool-house then made introductions and welcomed us to the neighborhood. We told them we were in town for only three nights; the neighbors invited us to stay longer if we could. Kanab City and this entire southern Utah area is just as welcoming. The home is located in one of the best Kanab neighborhoods and city center is only blocks away The Lone Ranger Hideaway is spacious and far nicer than the pictures show. . The playground behind the house was a wonderful safe place for our grand-kids which allowed us to keep our eyes on them also. The home had every amenity we required. We sampled the hot tub and the HOA facilities and found them spotless and inviting. We enjoyed one movie and found the HD TV and Bose system fantastic. Books abound in each room, all rated 'G', reflecting the owners varied interests and faith. Baskets of toys are available for the youngsters. Staying at the Lone Ranger is very much like staying at a relatives home; while the relative is away. Here we felt trusted and a part of the family. Though we have only met on the phone, the Chamberlain and France families are gracious hosts, willing to help at any time.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights at this spacious Kanab home while visiting Zion, Bryce and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Nestled in a select community of homes among scenic red cliffs, with uncrowded indoor and outdoor pools and exercise equipment right next door (we walked over and used them easily--had them all to ourselves twice)--it's quiet, secluded but also close to Kanab sights and restaurants. Modern kitchen and laundry equipment and delightful massage chair are big plusses. Hosts were very helpful and cared that we had a good stay. Backyard playscape, playthings, books, games for kids included (though we did not need them, families might well appreciate). Stunning drive to Zion through a long tunnel is within 25 miles. Bryce is 1.5 hour drive away--but, again, the drive is beautiful. Thanks to the kitchen and the Kanab grocery store we saved a bundle on daily meals--more than enough to treat ourselves to a lovely dinner in Kanab's Rocking V Restaurant. Thanks, Chamberlains!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home this September. La Estancia is a picturesque, very quiet neighborhood in a gorgeous red rock canyon. The home is beautiful - very modern with a large open floorplan and beautiful back yard. The beds are comfortable and the master bathroom shower is a treat. There is even a children's playroom - though since we don't have children we used it as the staging and packing area for all our backpacking and camping gear (a luxury we've never had before while staying in hotels). Kanab is a great little town, and when we had to delay our backpacking trip due to rain, we were so thankful to be able to extend our stay in this lovely house and neighborhood while we explored beautiful southern Utah. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Our family of 9 stayed comfortably at the Lone Ranger Hideaway this summer and we all had an absolute blast! It is surrounded by beautiful red rock mountains, and is absolutely picturesque. The swimming pool is right next-door and we swam at least once every day (followed by soaking in the hot tub in the back yard). Even though we were so close to so many tourist attractions (state parks, etc., etc.), we didn't visit them. There was plenty for our young family to do staying around Kanab. The home has a washer and dryer which made our return trip awesome, since I wasn't dreading all the laundry I would have to do when I got home. Anything we needed for our baby was provided in the home (including a high chair and a folding crib). There was also plenty for our older children to do with the foosball table, Nintendo, toy room, etc. It is also only about a block away from a great water park which had something for kids of every age, including a large waterslide and even a very shallow end which had an aquatic Big Toy. We absolutely recommend this home without reserve! We hope to go again next year!

Stayed at the Lone Ranger Hideaway for 3 nights. We are VRBO veterans. Some of the rentals we have stayed at are hotel-like with very minimal owner belongings/family pictures in the house. Some are almost as if the family vacated moments before our arrival. Having said that, the Lone Ranger was somewhere in between. The house was very clean and comfortable (the pictures of the Property are accurate), however, if mostly full closets of owner belongings and a multiude family pictures make you uncomfortable, this may not be the place for you. I did appreciate the empty and clean refrigerator! The backyard was nice with a very clean hot tub. Our boys enjoyed the tether ball and boce ball game, as well as, the hot tub. The Property was very quiet and provided nice views of the cliff behind. The Property has easy access to the development pool which has both an indoor and outdoor pool, and a very nice, sufficient fitness facility. The house location is only blocks away from the main street of Kanab. We stayed in the area on a Sunday and most area activities were not available. Our drive to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon was approximately 80 miles.

We recently stayed at this lovely home! It was perfect for our family with two small children, as it is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There is a play structure right through the back fence with sand underfoot to play in and rocks to climb. The pool is a one-minute walk away--very clean and well-maintained. There is also a playroom stocked with games and toys. Enjoying the jacuzzi and cooking Smores in the outdoor fireplace became a nightly ritual. The only problem was convincing our children to leave the house so we could take in the sights. :) Absolutely as clean and beautiful as the pictures show. We will definitely stay in this home again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Southern Utah is a friendly and absolutely beautiful place! We were able to visit Zion National Park, Cedar Breaks, and Bryce Canyon. Breathtaking! Our tour of nearby Moqui Cave, and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary were highlights. The whole property, and the clubhouse are in excellent condition. Like new, really. It's a clean, comfortable home, with beautiful, well-groomed grounds. Our five boys had so much fun climbing the small mountains nearby, playing tether ball, foosball, and swimming in the outdoor and indoor pools right next door. We liked taking advantage of the playroom which has movies, video games, books, and toys for all ages, and also relaxing under the stars in the hot-tub. Even our dog dug the place. Two paws up for the big dog park up the road! The kitchen had everything we needed, so we saved a ton of money on food! I can't say enough about the gorgeous, peaceful surroundings. Can't wait 'til we can do it all again!

We stayed at the Lone Ranger Hideaway with our three kids and had a great time. The house has a very personal feel to it as it is truly someone's home, so you feel privileged that they are sharing it with you. It is a prisine and comfortable home with everything you need, and the manager was prompt and responsive when we needed help. The kids loved having the pool and backyard. Grand Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, and Bryce Canyon are all just a good hour drive away and this made the Lone Ranger Hideaway the ideal place for us to stay while sightseeing.
