Located on one of the last pristine stretches of the Pacific Coast of the state of Nayarit, Mexico, this small fishing village is only a 40 minute ride north by bus, car, or taxi from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport. Nestled in a beautiful cove, this hamlet was originally a hacienda for harvesting small coconuts for oil, which you can still find, along with mangoes, bananas, large coconuts, papaya, and citrus fruit. Fish and shrimp are available fresh daily, along with margaritas and Mexican beer. World class dining, a sunny beautiful setting, and a relaxed tempo make this the perfect get-away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday world.

Casa Buena Vista is a very private and spacious, gated, architect designed home, a fusion of Zen style and Mexican comfort conducive to relaxed enjoyment. It's beautifully situated above the town with sweeping 360 degree views of the magnificent coastline and jungle valleys, and only a ten minute walk to the beach and the center of town. There are hammocks in the veranda, tiled terraces, outdoor cooking facility, a pool,palapa, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Linens, towels, drinking water, games, videos, gardener, and maid service are provided; along with beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. We can arrange for especially cooked meals for you.

Casa Buena Vista is a place to get away from it all, play, and relax, in a very safe and private environment. Our property manager lives nearby and will help you find your way.

  • We stayed almost 3 weeks and had a wonderful time. Our two grand daughters ages 3 and 5 thought your home was so fantastic. They spent hours every day in the huge pool. Then we would go to Los Muertos beach which is gentle and safe where they could have a great time in the gentle waves and play in the sand. They loved your friendly geckos and iguanas. Your home is the best equiped rental that we have ever stayed in.(We have rented quite a few places in Mexico) Lots of pots, pans, plates,utencils, glasses.An electric dishwasher, big oven ,big refrig.A great BBQ where we cooked some delicious fresh seafood which was very inexpensive that we bought from the local fish monger. This house has great big rooms with open spaces that are beautifully decorated. A view that is spectacular. Does this sound over the top? Well this is a very special place. We would recommend this houme.

  • After having to cancel our visit to Sayulita in February due to a serious illness, we were so pleased to be able to make it in late June this year. It was hot and humid, coming from the cool rainy north, and it was just what we needed. There were sea breezes, the pool was lovely, view was lovely, the house was so spacious, comfortable and well appointed. We loved sitting on the deck, playing cards, and relaxing. My husband loved all the birds in the large yard. He probably saw at least 50 species of birds during our 10 day stay and of course the family of Iguanas in the afternoons. The wildlife was great and we would love to come again. Elena was a great host, and a great resource during our stay. Thank you so much Mario. We hope to return soon.

  • My family and I just returned from an amazing stay at Casa Buena Vista. We have a 2 1/2 year old and a 11 week old and we had a blast. The house is immaculate with all of the amenities you could hope for on vacation. The view from all of the decks is breathtaking. It was truly an amazing vacation and a place we hope to return to many times. Walking to town was so easy. I would recommend this villa to anyone.

The home is decorated with fantastic Japanese style art, is very comfortable, and thanks to Elena, is kept clean as a whistle. The private gardens and expansive view only add to the ambiance. We especially enjoyed the walk to and from town and the beach. I have already recommended your place to my friends. A special thanks needs to be extended to Elenda for making us feel so welcome. The house is really well appointed, it has magnificient gardens and superbe view. Sayulita is low key and has really retained some of its Mexican charm.
