  My family and I stayed at this house for a week and found the place very enjoyable with easy beach access. The kids park right above the beach was great for keeping the kids entertained on days were the lake was too wavey. St. Joe's was also great to visit with a lots to do there and only a short drive away. The owner is also very quick with email responses and returning phone calls.

  Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children.

  Our family which includes 2 young children vacationed over 4th of July week and had a blast!! We are familiar with the area and have rented other cottages in the past. This home was WONDERFUL! It was a nice size for our family, it was very clean and was like being at home. When we had an issue (minor internet issue), the owner was quick to respond and got us taken care of immediately. We were very pleased with our "home" and would recommend it to anyone! (Not for 4th of July week, though, we would like to return again same time next year!) :)

  I rented this home with my husband, two young daughters and some in-laws. It was perfect for all of us! The house was clean, and modern. All kitchen/ grilling utensils were provided. We had some questions about the T.V., and the owner got back to us immediately and was very helpful. It was a short, lovely walk to the beach (only a few hundred yards), which was never too crowded. We drove to a winery, had pizza in St. Joseph, and walked around the adorable little town. There is a playground very close to the beach for our little ones. So, between that, the lovely beach, the winery, good food, fishing nearby and a clean, quiet cozy home....it was perfect for the whole family! Great time!! Can't wait to go back!

  This is a very nice cottage, with modern ammenities and plenty of space for vacationing families. Everything was in order and the owner was easy to contact and responsive. I woudn't consider the property upscale, but it was clean and comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. I would rate it 9 of 10 with my only criticism being that the master bed was a bit on the hard side, but maybe that's just us.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We stayed at the cottage the week of July 4th. Great location. Easy access to beach, shopping, dining. There were 6 adults and 2 children...very roomy. The owner was always quick to respond before I booked, with answering my numerous questions. We have rented many times over the years in different locations, however, this was exceptional. They provided the linens and towels, the paper products - anyone that rents vacation spots, knows this does not happen often. Just alot of little extras that made it so nice. Lots of seating outdoors, firepit, plus the ample room inside the home just made our stay fantastic! Can't wait to do it again.......

  This house is located in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. The large yard was great for our daughter and the dog! The house is equipped with everything you might need to make the stay comfortable. The beach was great, not crowded at all during our stay. Must eat at Dimaggio's and get a sub at Vitale's Deli! It was only 10 minutes to St. Joe and 15 to South Haven. This house was the perfect location to enjoy time at the Hagar Beach or pop over to the nearby towns. The owner was very nice and accomodating, very good to work with! We will surely go back next year!
