Currently not available for rental until further notice. Zen modern contemporary architectually signifigant single family home, designed by the renowned Jim Cioffi. This home offers soaring ceilings in the large open great room looking out through a wall of windows to your beautifully landscaped backyard complete with pool and spa. An exhibition gourmet's dream kitchen with slab granite counters and GE Profile stainless appliances including Advatium oven with microwave plus convection. There are 2 master suites---one at each end of the home (1 King, 1 Queen) and a third bedroom (currently used as a study--no bed, only a chaise lounge chair) with bath to the front with it's own private patio. This home has a 2 car garage, large lot, and significant architecture inspired by midcentury but brought to current century technology, complete professional desertscape landscaping, pool, spa and fantastic mountain views.
This home has a zen inspired and asian influenced decor with all new luxury hotel quality linens for the bedrooms, complete with new mattress pads and duvets. Each bed has 4 comfy pillows (2 medium, 2 soft) to insure your utmost comfort. There is a flat screen tv in each bedroom, plus an additional flat screen in the living room. There is a chaise lounge chair only (in the 3rd bedroom) which could accommodate sleeping for an extra person.
All major credit cards accepted. No deposit necessary. A $39 rental insurance policy is available for purchase through a vrbo
affiliate. For bookings more than 30 days out, a 50% deposit is requested and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. All bookings less than 30 days from arrival are due in full. Our check in time is 3pm, however we can usually get you in much earlier in the day.....just ask. Once you have your arrival time, an appointment is made with our house manager who will meet you at the property to give you keys and walk you throughout to show you certain features. Upon receiving your payment, you will be emailed 'the house notes' along with personal restaurant recommendations, events and area attractions you will want to see while vacationing in Palm Springs. The cleaning fee is $200.

My husband and I leased this property for the month of August. The house is exactly as pictured: beautiful, tranquil, tasteful asian decor, very well equipped and maintained. There is a guest bedroom suite (almost equal to the master) for visitors and also a wonderful office set up with a chaise lounge that can accomodate another overnight guest. All beds are very comfortable. It was just a great house for "hanging out" and we stayed in a lot. The owner/property manager has gone above and beyond in terms of stocking the house with every creature comfort you could possibly need. We really appreciated the generous allocation of towels, sheets, and pillows, as well as liquid soap, paper towels, tp, shampoo, etc. Nothing worse than going into a vacation rental to find you've been supplied with ONE towel per guest and no toilet paper! The yard, pool and spa were pristine, beautiful and well maintained on a weekly basis. The location is very convenient. It is blocks from the main drag in Palm Springs, minutes from the airport, and the Cabazon outlet mall is easily accessible from the house. Chuck, who manages the property for the owner, is very responsive and professional. He responded to every question and request immediately. I can't come up with any negatives for the property. It was an all-around great experience, so much so that we hated to leave! We recommend without reservation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

chuck was very pleasant to deal with and was very fast with email return. The beds were comfortable, linens were fine, duvet was also fine. The bathrooms were exactly what I like showers not a tub shower combo although it did have a nice tub in the master. The pool was nice, towels were provided and the unit also has a washer and dryer. Property is about 12 min to the airport and the gym in 5 min away $15 a day per person for the guest pass. I would suggest bringing your own pillows as I do since I am a pillow snob and only like down pillows, but I do understand why they do not provide them. There are a reasonable amount of dishes for 4 persons. We did wash our dishes twice while we were there on a 4 night stay to have enough, but again that was fine. All TV's are nice and internet is provided. All in all it was a nice stay and I do recommend this property. As a renter myself on VRBO I find myself very picky but again I do recommend this house.
