I rented this home for a small group (6) of friends for a winery weekend. It is everything the pictures promise, beautiful, roomy lay-out, well equiped kitchen and barbecue grill, push button fireplace and much more. We found this place to be clean, comfortable, affordable, and very conenient to visiting the wineries. It was wonderful to "come home" after a hard day of wine tasting. The owners were very easy to deal with, providing contracts and checklists that answer all the important questions, with deposits returned promptly. This deal is an excellent value. I loved this weekend and hope to do it again, soon. Susan Muskegon, MI PS- We are a group of sailers and appreciated the nautical themes as well as the Spartans!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a wonderful home! Our family had one of our best vacations ever. We stayed here with our children and grandchildren and everyone loved it. The house is beautiful and spacious with room for everyone, exceptionally well equipped from the kitchen to the electronics to the games and outdoor amenities. We played volleyball and enjoyed the firepit every night. The beach area was great for the kids and we fished off the dock. The lake is beautiful and the pontoon was so much fun. We enjoyed exploring the lake on the pontoon (took it into Leland) and loved the town. The area is so great with the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, Lake Michigan, great restaurants etc... We will definitely return! The owners were great and the house is beautiful and immaculate. You couldn't ask for a more complete vacation experience. Thank You for sharing this wondedrful place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

We were a group of 4 couples that stayed here for a wine tasting weekend and had a wonderful time. The house was wonderful and we had plenty of room and everyone had their own bedroom. Love the open floor plan with the kitchen overlooking all the action. The view of the lake is fantastic and we hope to go up again in warmer weather to take full advantage of the lake. The home was also well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owners were great throughout the whole rental process and available to us over the weekend for questions. Everything was perfect for our weekend and our group is thinking of making this annual event and would definitely stay here again!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I had the most wonderful vacation here! The owner Larry is extremely nice, and we had more than we could have hoped for staying at this well kept, lovely cottage. Everything was neat and clean, tons of extra towels, linens, and beach toys, and a beautiful view with a sandy beach on Lake Leelanau, what more could we ask for! I'm hoping to come back every year, creating incredible memories with my family. Thank you!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This home has a great floor plan for multiple generation groups. Our 22 year old son slept in the loft where there is a television, couch and 2 beds. When he watched tv later into the night, we could close off the area to eliminate noise. The home has everything you need. Towels, toys, wood, chair, a wonderful porch that my mother live on, etc. The pontoon was also a wonderful addition and easy to learn for new boaters. The main floor bedrooms and baths were wonderful-spacious, clean, etc. No complaints. I also liked being not too close to the tourist area of Leland, but close enough to drive their quickly. We also had road bicyclists in our group and they LOVED the country roads in the area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

I just wanted to let you know how much our family enjoyed your lake home. The property was great and the photos really don't do it justice, it very clean and well cared for . The floor plan is terrific it allowed for privacy and the great room was ideal for dining and playing games. This is a awesome location in northern Michigan , close to shopping, and resturants. We really had a lot of fun on the pontoon as well, took the grandchildren tubing and I did some fishing .....it was great. We look forward to a return visit next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a great vacation!! and great experience for my whole family. This home has a wide open layout with 4 private bedrooms. The home is decked out with all the extras and a view of the lake from almost every room. The yard, deck and lake is where we spent a significant amount of the time (Sand volleyball, Basketball court, washer toss, fire pit, etc.). Breakfasts and Dinners on the deck when it wasn't too hot. Everything was well maintained and available. I would highly recommend this home for a family vacation (old and young). We are all excited about returning next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We throughly enjoyed our week at this home! The west side of Lake Leelanau is quiet and relaxing, and because the home is set far back from the road, you only hear the birds, the breeze, and the water! The home itself is brand-new, with terrific ameneties and meticulous upkeep. It was a perfect place for us to get away and forget about everything! This property sits midway between the towns of Lake Leelanau and Cedar, and not too far from Glen Arbor, Suttons Bay, or even Traverse City. Thus, there are dozens of fantastic dining options, shopping, beaches, and many more attractions nearby! You certainly want to give this rental a serious look! It was perfect for our family, and it may be for yours, too!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family spent the Thanksgiving Holiday this year in Lake Leelanau and had a wonderful time. The house was wonderful, the location is perfect and the whole experience could not have been better. It felt just like we were in our own home, the kids did not want to leave, nor did we. We are planning a trip again for the summer of 2012 and this is our first choice.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
