  Staying at Villazur in Mont Vernon greatly enhanced our St. Martin vacation. The property was comfortable, convenient and beautifully appointed. It had everything we needed, from beach chairs and a cooler, to a safe and top of the line appliances. The pool was sparkling clean and the beach and ocean were breathtaking. Our view from the patio was beautiful and security personnel were visible. We would suggest renting a car as there is so much to see on the island. Parking is on a hill and access to the units involves stairs. We would not recommend this area if one has mobility issues. And it would be advisable to know a little French or at least carry a translator. If we return to St. Martin, we will certainly rent this property again and would highly recommend it. Joanna was very helpful and accomodating; our rental arrangements were accomplished in a timely, professional manner.

  The condo was exactly what we expected and had a fabulous time at the pool, the beach, and the tennis courts on site. You get to enjoy the sunrise right out your window and take a walk along Orient Bay. You can rent a car for ~$50/day and take day trips to Grand Case, Marigot, Philipsburg, ect. The condo itself is very clean, great kitchen, fully stocked to cook (US Market is just down the road to stock up on food and cheap French wine!), A/C worked great, and beach chairs, umbrella, cooler all there for your use. I would absolutely recommend this place for people looking for a quite beach vacation, also great if you have kids. It was super easy to get to near by attractions like Grand Cases' beach front dining, zip lining at Loterie Farms, kayaking over to Pinel island for a picnic on the beach, shopping on Front Street in Philipsburg, and seeing the sights in Marigot or Oyster Bay. Wayyy less traffic up on the French side, and very quiet, less touristy. The biggest problem we had was finding the on-site manager of the condo to give us the key, but we emailed Joanna and we got the keys about 20 min later.

  Studio was clean and virtually new as stated in listing. This location is excellent for travelers who want to explore and experience all of St Martin. Excellent access to and view of Orient Beach. Owner is very responsive to questions about the studio and general information about St. Martin.

  We stayed at Villazur for 6 nights and enjoyed our stay that much we didn't want to leave! The property is very well kept and has every last thing that you could possibly think of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is very well equipped and even has a blender to make those all important Pina Coladas with fancy cocktail glasses to sup away on on the outside deck whilst enjoying the beautiful ocean view. The beach is a short walk, but if you prefer the action and sun loungers, you need to walk a bit further on where there are plenty of spots to choose from. Orient Bay was definatley our favourite beach, and Wakiki Bar serves excellent food! The apartment honestly exceeded our expectations and would we would definatley recommend this spot to friends and family.

  I highly recommend this property. The price was fair. I couldn't have asked for anything more. It was perfect in so many ways. First off - nothing beats the view - a perfect way to meet the morning and say goodnight to the day - the breeze off the ocean was such a delight on hot days! The space was very modern, exceptionally clean, and amply met all my needs. The small kitchen had everything I needed and then some. The bed was comfortable. Joanna was very accomodating and addressed all my questions in a timely manner. Thank you for sharing your small corner of paradise!!

  This place is beautiful. My Mom and I stayed there recently and we loved it! I was a little nervous about the location because I received so much different input with Mont Vernon's proximity to all the action on Orient Beach, but it was not far at all! I thought it was perfect becuase it was in the less conjested area, but as you walked there were many different beach bars and restaurants along the way. And the condo is only five minutes driving to Grand Case, and about 12 minutes to Marigot. I was also pleasantly surprised by the pool. It was unbelievably clean!!! And I can be pretty picky when it comes to public pools, but this one beats any 3 to 4 star hotel's pool. I felt totally safe in the Mont Vernon. The condo is very secure. There was security everywhere. A lot of the people actuly live here, so you feel safer to because it seems like everybody looks out for each other. The condo itself is immaculate, and the bed is super comfy!! The brand new refrigerator was broke when we got there but the owner Joanna and Patricia did everything to fix it. They got us ice the first night for the cooler, and the next day a brand new refrigerator came!! The Wifi was great, and the view amazing. Everything we needed was right there. I wish I could have stayed longer and I can't wait to go back. Thanks for an amazing trip!!

  This is a great condo with an excellent view. The condo had everything we needed for our vacation and we are planning to book again on our next trip.

• Great studio

  We rented this studio apartment for one week in January, 2012. It is in Mount Vernon situated on the north end of Orient Beach. Mount Vernon is a huge complex that sits atop a steep hill with parking on the land side of the hill and the apartment buildings spread out from the top of the hill down to the water. This unit is in the Aruba building at the bottom of the hill so you will need to endure trips up and down the hill to move between your car and the studio. As long as you don’t have any severe mobility issues, the unobstructed view of Orient Beach is incredible and well worth the hill climbs. There is a small table and chairs on the patio as well as a comfy wicker chair where you can enjoy the view. We ate all of our morning meals and several dinners on the patio. The door to the patio is a locking 3 section glass slider with an additional single section of screen door which gives the studio an even bigger, open feel. The studio was completely remodeled last year and they did a very nice job. It was fully stocked and everything looked new - stainless steel kitchen appliances, kitchen utensils, bathroom fixtures, clothes washer, furniture, entertainment system (TV, DVD, iPod docking station), beach chairs, bedding, etc. The WiFi worked great all week. The only two other MV studios we were exposed to while on our trip (one was the amazingly helpful neighbors and the other was a wonderful couple from North Carolina who were drooling over this studio and will likely rent it on their next trip) didn’t hold a candle to this unit. Joanna, the owner, was extremely helpful and promptly replied to our questions. Before leaving home I asked if there was a safe in the studio for securing personal items. Joanna replied that there was no safe and it was not really needed (it is not) due to the very nice, remote controlled shutters on the patio. When we arrived, there was a brand new safe in the studio (not yet secured to anything but I am sure that will be done). This is a beautiful condo and we highly recommend it. Thanks Joanna for a wonderful stay!
