Relax and "become yourself" again at our breezy vacation home on the Connecticut shoreline in Indian Town Beach. Enjoy spectacular sunsets and distant water views over the salt marsh and tidal creek from the deck/patio. Swim and bask in the sunshine at either of two private beaches, a 5 minute walk away. Enjoy the scenic views of the harbor and seaside from the gazebo on the green or stroll the jetty. Great location for walking, running, biking, and kayaking. A truly unique four-season destination.
This vacation home is very comfortable, clean, and uncluttered. All six rooms are tastefully decorated - with relaxation in mind. The sunporch is bathed in sunlight - a wonderful place to relax with a book or spend time with friends and family. In the bedrooms, comfortable beds covered in quilts and pillows await you.
Off the porch is a large deck and patio where you can sit under the umbrella at a glass-top table, and enjoy the awesome views. Also at the rear of the house is a private, separate-entrance shower room with hot/cold water; it's spacious, and beautifully-lined with cedar.
Bring your canoe or kayak and explore the shore, creeks, or the nearby Oyster and Connecticut Rivers. There is a launch in Indian Town Association. If you would like to bring a motor boat, Indian Town has several available slips for guests (please inquire). Bring your binoculars and check out the many different shore birds that feed in the salt-marsh (osprey, glossy ibis, egrets, blue heron).
When you decide to venture away from the beach, we are ten minutes from outlet shopping, antique shops, many casual and fine restaurants, and movie theaters. Venture a little further and wander the Mystic Marinelife Aquarium or Mystic Seaport. Or visit Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos - they have excellent live shows.
This lovely house is ideal for families or couples, young and old, for relaxation and adventures.

Ivey & Rocco, Thank you so much for allowing us to make this our "home away from home." These last two weeks have been extremely relaxing and fun. It has been six months since we were together as a family, and even though it was only two weeks we all had some really great bonding moments. Watching movies on the cold days and sight seeing were so much fun! We would love to come back in the summer months to enjoy the beach more! Thank you, Courtney, Clay, Allie & Jason (I'd put where we are from, but in the military "home" is wherever we are...together!)
