To celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary we enjoyed a trip to California. We began our seven day stay in San Francisco on July 9, 2012. We were very happy that we booked this city center VRBO. The online listing is very accurate. The accommodations in this 24 hour doorman building were great! Our unit S-510 was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The area is very safe and we enjoyed walking to many of San Francisco’s attractions and restaurants. The Muni and BART transit stops on Market Street were a short and convenient walk from this comfortable condo. Kate was a very gracious and accommodating hostess. She gave us tips on local stores so we could stock up the kitchen with food and beverages and checked with us after we had gotten settled in to inquire if we needed anything. Staying at this condo helped to make our Anniversary trip memorable. We will be staying at this unit on our next trip to San Francisco.

My husband and I just returned from staying in Kate's condo for four nights. It is a nice, stylish and clean one bedroom condo with everything you may possibly need. The location is ideal - you can walk to ATT Park and there are great restaurants and bars nearby. The Metropolitan Building is located in the newly redeveloping area of South Beach and we were so glad to stay in the area. We felt safe even when walking back at night from ATT. In the past, we have stayed in SF hotels but this condo was such a gem and a bargain when compared to a comparable hotel. Kate does a great job in describing the condo and the recommendations of activities and restaurants nearby. She was always responsive to any calls or emails. We definitely plan to return here!

We were in town for a few days and wanted to be close AT&T Park. Boy were we ever close (a 20 minute walk at most). We also were happy to be within minutes of a Whole Foods and a Peet's Coffee. The kitchen is lovely and of good size, so it was perfect for meals when we didn't feel like spending money at a restaurant. In addition, it was wonderful to have access to a pool, sauna, and hot tub that wasn't brimming with families and children. Super quiet! Kate was wonderfully accommodating and very helpful at showing us all the ins-and-outs of the building. Thank you, Kate! We would certainly recommend a stay here.

My husband and I were very impressed with the condo, the owner and the amenities of this newer luxury Highrise. The owner was thorough, professional and friendly. The condo furniture very comfortable, tasteful and well equipped. I really liked the awesome doormen-they were very willing to help us with everything we needed, and the gym was state of the art with great views. The location was convenient and if you are traveling by car be sure to find a parking structure with 24/7 including weekends. We used the 5th/Mission Parking Structure. We will definitely rent from Kate again.

The apartment was in a great location -- close to everything we wanted to do (and mass transit for things that were farther) while we were there! I felt like it was in a fairly safe neighborhood (compared to a few I walked through). The staff at the front desk were friendly and attentive, as was Kate. I would definitely stay here again, if I ever have the good fortune of returning to San Francisco. If you're on a budget, I highly recommend picking up the book "San Francisco Free and Dirt Cheap" at your local, independent bookstore. It had a great selection of cheaper eats and inexpensive (and Free) activities. I also found it helpful to have a fridge and full kitchen (nicer than the one I have at home even) for leftovers and a way to keep costs down by getting some fruit, yogurt, and granola for on-the-go mornings. Near this apartment specifically (things we found in the book and just walking around) Katie O'Brien's has a great happy hour on Tuesday ($2 app plates), the 21st Amendment Brewery has good beer, There was a cute cafe in a park 5 blocks away that we went to twice (Cafe Central?) for a nice, light breakfast. As far as things to do around San Francisco, I had a great time wandering around. It's a great city to get lost in. My only regret is not being able to stay a little longer!

I booked a stay here to attend a conference at Moscone Center. The area was extremely walkable (Starbucks, Walgreens within a few blocks .. Whole Foods and Metreon a few blocks further) and very comfortable. It was great to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer, which allowed me to reduce my dining-out budget and the need to pack a lot of clothes. If you're a fan of dining out, there are a lot of great places to eat within a couple blocks. Finding the unit in the building was a little confusing (the owner's instructions were a lifesaver) but the doorman was very helpful and attentive. Plus, the internet connection (a dealbreaker for me in most hotels) was very fast and stable. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the owner was very helpful and responsive before, during, and after my stay. I wish I had the opportunity to use some of the buildings facilities (pool, theater) but time didn't allow.

My husband and I came to San Francisco for our anniversary. This condo was a comfortable home base for our trip. We are not the kind of travelers that go out for an entire day and only sleep in a hotel or apartment. We spent quite a bit of time in the apartment and it was relaxing. The bed is very soft. It want uncomfortable for us, but just a note to others.

My wife and I traveled to SF for the first time for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. In doing so we had the pleasure of staying at this highrise apartment. It truly was a wonderful experience. The description of "luxury" in the title accurately reflects this property. The condo was beautifully maintained. The building was wonderful as well; very safe containing a lap pool, an extensive work-out room, and a roof area which provided a great view and a good place to relax and "wind down" after a day of sightseeing in SF. The owner was very accommodating, and very helpful in providing information on both the property and things to do in SF. The location in the Downtown Financial District provided good access to anywhere you wanted to go in SF; i.e. the downtown shopping area, Fisherman's Warf, Union Station, etc. In short, my wife and I would highly recommend this property as a great place to stay when visiting SF, whether it be on a long term or a short term basis.
