It is with much sadness that we have to leave this awesome paradise today. We had a glorious time. Thank you for all your excellent suggestions, as we partook in most. We always looked forward to the delicious coffee and fresh fruit each morning. That is a wonderful amenity! HarmonySuite is beautiful and the memories of the Virgin Islands will last our lifetime. The Boyd’s (Tom & Monica) were perfect host! Thank you so much for allowing us to be your guest! The property is breath taking. In one word AMAZING! Our visit to St. Thomas was highlighted by our accommodation and host. The Vistas are gorgeous the amenities are modern and comfortably cozy. I visited with 3 girl friends but would gladly refer a family of four or a couple to book a stay there. I know with all certainty I would never stay in a resort after staying in the Harmony Suite (bungalow). I loved it and would gladly go back! Renting a car and driving ourselves around provided us with a entirely different perspective of the island (Toms awesome directions were very helpful). Also, I visited in November and the weather in St. Thomas was perfectly pleasant not to hot and never cold. The winds picked up in the evening and allowed perfect breezes to flow in through the windows that felt better than central air-conditioning! Book today do not delay (corny but genuinely true) you will not be dissappointed.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our initial conversations prior to the start of our vacation - dealing with the uncertainty of my husband's vacation approval - to a gracious agreement of a refund if in fact we could not come. God showed us favor knowing that after a long period of caring for our loved-one's health care problems - we were allowed 2 weeks in paradise to recuperate in God's splendor. The HarmonySuite was beyond our expectations. We have traveled all over the world enjoying different climates & nationalities. Here at St. Thomas your vacation rental was superb. All of the thoughtful touches, island decor, fragrant oil scents, to the ambiance of candles. Your outside spa area, beautiful pool area, & hammock was enough leisure in itself. The view was made in Paradise. We enjoyed looking out of the windows to see the swaying of palm trees and tropical flowers. The bay below the suite was mesmerizing. The colors of blue and turquoise were like jewels. Thank you, Tom, for your conversations and many island recommendations. We will return home praising your suite and your hospitality. God bless."

A jewel

Our family has stayed at many VRBO and this rental was the first that truly exceeded our wildest dreams. The owners keep the rental immaculate. The pool and your personal hot tub on your private deck are cleaned daily. The view is amazing and location is perfect. It is easy to get to the beaches and the many restaurants on St. Thomas. If you'd rather cook there is a well outfitted kitchen in your suite and a gas grill on your deck. The owners are available for any questions but discreetly out of sight during your stay so you have complete privacy. A great spot for a honeymoon and/or a 25th anniversary (us). We could easily make this spot a yearly tradition!!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Picturesque Honeymoon

What a memorable honeymoon! The views from the suite are simply breathtaking, and it really does feel like we have the whole place to ourselves. Tom and Monica are warm and model hosts. Their thoughtfulness was woven into every part of our stay. From the time Tom met us at the airport to the beautiful photograph he took of us -- not to mention the excellent breakfasts every morning -- we felt very welcome at HarmonySuite. Southern hospitality, island style! The suite is exactly as described and pictured on their website, and it is well-suited for a honeymoon. The private hot tub, the adjustable-firmness bed, and the romantic decor add to the ambience. Everything is kept clean and in great condition, and it has all the comforts of home -- a great stereo system by the pool, and even coolers and chairs to take to the beach. This was our first time to St. Thomas, and it certainly exceeded our expectations. The weather was 85 degrees and sunny all week long, and there are plenty of beaches that aren't overrun by tourists, unlike Hawaii. We hope to be back!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

And your breakfast was a delight of the morning, combined with the view. We rented Harmony Suite for our Wedding/Honeymoon in February 2010. Words cannot describe the beauty and tranquility that this location has to offer. The location is beautiful, the accommodations are top notch and Tom and Monica (owners) are two of the friendliest people we have encountered. They honored our privacy extensively but were only a phone call away if we had questions. We had two small parties that involved our friends and family that had joined us in the Virgin Islands for our special day; Tom and Monica treated them so great and gave fantastic recommendations for food and fun on the island. Having Tom and Monica is like having your own personal concierge service. The fresh fruit and coffee each morning was over the top! The pictures of the view are beautiful but to see it in person was completely amazing. The suite was decorated so sweet and maintained impeccably. The pool, pool deck, cabana area and the VERY private lower deck were taken care of with pride. The entire stay was not just a place we "stayed" it was a place we "experienced”! We cannot wait to go back again!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed celebrating Monica's birthday at "13" restaurant and later at "Iggies" for karaoke - You two are awesome!!! We were a little nervous about driving here in St. Thomas, but with both of your help, ideas of places to eat at & see, and maps it was so easy! The suite is perfectly located to everything. Things we enjoyed: (1) Staring our day with coffee overlooking beautiful TuTu Bay on our private deck "Breakfast in Paradise". (2) Beaches: Magens Bay, Coki Beach, and Smith Bay. (3) A couple of days of just relaxing by the pool enjoying the great views with our Ipod music playing & fighting over who got the hammock!!! (4) A day sail around St. Thomas & snorkeling from Red Hook with Dave was terrific! (5) Evenings in the hot tub with the full moon lighting up the sky (aah! So relaxing after a day in the sun! Who could ask for more!!) Food: The cheeseburgers, salads, and wings at "Jack's" were a must and so close by! Red Hook is great for evening dinners & only a short 10 minute drive away. We tried "lotus" at happy hour for sushi, "XO Bistro" - salads & crab cakes, "East End Cafe" (Italian & great dessert! "Amigo's for Mexican & view of the harbor! The "Udder Delight" ice cream cream shop out by Magens Bay, sunset at "Blue Moon Cafe"! One can't say enough about how amazing our vacation has been! We loved everything & plan to visit HarmonySuite again soon! Tom & Monica - your genuine hospitality was greatly appreciated. You two have thought of everything!!! Thank you both for an unforgettable vacation!!! God bless you both. PS - Tom, thank you for our awesome breakfast each day & our wonderful photo overlooking your beautiful piece of paradise!!! Keep in touch! & when you are in the Carolinas you are welcome in our home anytime!

The following comment is verbatim from our guestbook in HarmonySuite: "Tom & Monica- Your follow-up phone call after my e-mail inquiry really sealed the deal for us...and we are so glad we chose HarmonySuite. We just know this was the right spot for us after reading previous guest comments on your web page. We just love the sound of the rustling palms, the roosters morning - and night? (are they confused!), the wind chimes, tree frogs at night. We loved the hot tub every night - looking at the stars and watching for shooting stars - we did see a couple! Peter did 2 dives with Aqua Action Dive Center in Secret Harbor - very good dives - we would recommend that company. We snorkeled at Secret Harbor, Sapphire Beach (saw a large sea turtle), Coki (amazing - litterally surrounded by all kinds of fish), Smith Bay (a couple of large rays, an octopus, school of tiny squid). We enjoyed the BBQ at night so we didn't have to go out in the dark. Enjoyed "Room With a View" one night - food was excellent - & great view (we ate outside). All in all - a perfect holiday - and a great start attending church with you. Thanks for inviting us! (So glad we came here instead of St. John!). We almost booked Sapphire Beach - that would have been a huge disappointment, as they look a bit run down. HarmonySuite is THE BEST!

Our week was full of the best experiences one could enjoy in their life. Tiffany & I went beach hopping from Magens Bay to Cinnamon Bay in St. John. We enjoyed the color of the water, the different types of plants, the smells of the island, and hearing the waves hitting the rocks. One day we took a breakaway tour to the BVI. Awesome! The beauty of the island and our experiences of it helps us worship Jesus because it reminds us of the glorious new earth He will come back to re-create. It made us so thankful to Him for dying in our place to remove our sin debt so that we could enjoy these experiences with Him for eternity. PS - Tom - Thanks again for the breakfasts and the picture!

We come to St. Thomas each year in November, but I must say that finding HarmonySuite was a real blessing this year. Frank & I had the most amazing time, and, after 16 years of marriage I think we fell in love all over again. Our lives at home in Pennsylvania tends to be a little "stressful" at times, between work and family, etc. that at times we seem to take things for granted and miss out on a lot of things, not to mention time spent away from one another. Spending quality time with Frank alone these 10+ days has been a blessing and something we will not soon forget. We thank you both for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We really enjoyed the pool, decks, and spa. Tom - your breakfasts were great - and Frank was so impressed and enjoyed them so much, he promises to make them for me every morning!! Monica, your decorating in the suite is beautiful. You thought of everything to make a vacation complete. Even though, as Tom said "the fair weather machine was broken" - we still had enough sun, pool, & fun to have a wonderfully perfect vacation. We hope to return same time next year!!
