ROCKS CABIN is located on a 1 acre beachfront lot, at Copalis Rock Beach. Situated 50 feet above sea level, the home is approximately 200 feet from the sand dunes, affording a great perch and unobstructed view of the beach, surf, and ocean sights . The owners describe this property as being a 'botanical paradise', with completely native old growth vegetation including false Lily of the Valley, Indian Celery, various types of rain forest ferns, flowers and native plants. Tucked in the old growth Sitka Spruce Conifers, privacy is optimum. This home is an ideal spot to bird watch, and winter storm watching is incredible! The roar of the surf can be amazing; even from inside the cabin.
Below Rock's Cabin is a long and wide expanse of gorgeous shoreline, that even in the height of summer, you may find you have all to yourself.
The well maintained private path to the beach is utterly delightful! A nice stroll thru towering trees and blossoming vegetation, with seasonal babbling brooks. This the ultimate beach cabin for those who love a casual, serene beach get away.
Upon Entering, you will be mesmerized by the amazing views. A spacious deck with gas BBQ is a great place to spend the evening, enjoying the sunset from your personal retreat.
With the ideal location and perfect serenity, we can't imagine why you would want to leave, but if you find yourself wanting to venture out, you are just 5.8 miles from the quaint town of Pacific Beach to the North, about 45 minutes from Lake Quinault and it's beautiful trails through the rain forest, and a short drive to Ocean Shores, where you will find the Casino, many restaurants, and activities for the kids.
The cabin itself is rustic in decor, with a wood burning fireplace. Electric heat is also available to assure your comfort. Downstairs you will find one bedroom with a King size bed, and a full bath with tub/shower combination. A ladder with hand-rail takes you to the loft area, which offers a full bed and 2 twins. The ladder has a 250 lb. weight limit, and is able to accommodate most adults.
Due to the hillside location, The driveway is somewhat steep and narrow in places. Please don't arrive in a vintage, large sized, rear wheel drive car such as a 1961 T-bird or you will likely get stuck! However, FWD, AWD, or 4x4 do just fine.

Great location, nice cabin, great view, and gorgeous beach. Everything was great, except the king bed could use a mattress topper or something, it is pretty hard. I didn't know that the beach is also an airport (!) which is pretty cool. We didn't see any planes, and the guest book on the beach was pretty empty of recent arrivals. The trail from the cabin to the beach was very pretty, and the beach itself was amazing (it is nice hat cars can't drive on it). We had dogs with us, and they loved it all, as did we.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, pet owners, girls getaway, sightseeing.
